The Rise of Middle Eastern Crime in Australia

I BELIEVE that the rise of Middle Eastern organised crime in Sydney will have an impact on society unlike anything we have ever seen.
In the early 1980s, as a young detective I was attached to the Drug Squad at the old CIB. I remember executing a search warrant at Croydon, where we found nearly a pound of heroin. I know that now sounds very familiar; however, what set this heroin apart was that it was Beaker Valley Heroin, markedly different from any heroin I had seen. Number Four heroin from the golden triangle of South-East Asia is nearly always off-white, almost pure diamorphine. This heroin was almost brown.
But more remarkable were the occupants of the house. They were very recent arrivals from Lebanon, and from the moment we entered the premises, we wrestled and fought with the male occupants, were abused and spat at by the women and children, and our search took five times longer because of the impediments placed before us by the occupants, including the women hiding heroin in baby nappies and on themselves and refusing to be searched by policewomen because of religious beliefs. We had never encountered these problems before.
As was the case in those days, we arrested every adult and teenager who had hampered our search. When it came to court, they were represented by Legal Aid, of course, who claimed that these people were innocent of the minor charges of public disorder and hindering police, because they were recent arrivals from a country where people have an historical hatred towards police, and that they also had poor communications skills and that the police had not executed the warrant in a manner that was acceptable to the Muslim occupants.
The magistrate, well known to police as one who convicted fewer than one in ten offenders brought before him during his term at Burwood local court, threw the matter out, siding with the occupants and condemning the police. I remember thinking, thank heavens we don’t run into many Lebanese drug dealers.
In 1994 I was stationed at Redfern. A well known Lebanese family who lived not far from the old Redfern Police Academy were terrorising the locals with random assaults, drug dealing, robberies and violent anti-social behaviour. When some young police from Redfern told me about them, curiosity got the better of me and I asked them to show me the street they lived in. Despite the misgivings of the young police, I eventually saw this family and the presence they had in the immediate area. As we drove away in our marked police car, a half-brick bounced on the roof of the vehicle. The driver kept going.
I said, “What are you doing, they’ve just hit the car with a house brick!”
The young constable said, “Oh, they always do that when we drive past.”
The police were either too scared or too lazy to do anything about it. The damage bill on police cars became costly and these street terrorists grew stronger and the police became purely defensive. You see, the Police Royal Commission was about to start and the police retreated inside themselves knowing that the judicial system considered them easy targets. The police did not want to get hurt or attract Internal Affairs complaints.

USA does indeed need to drastically reduce its population level.
Unrestrained immigration is not good for any nation, no matter who the new people are.
George Bush wants to reduce the population by removing all illegal immigrants and he is both legally and morally correct to do this.
A sustainable population level for the USA is as low as 120,000,000.
‘Sustainable populations’ allow for a natural increase in numbers over time e.g. births and marriage to ‘outsiders’.
The US isn’t actually as big a land as the myth has led people to believe.
Get in touch with Bush’s office: maybe they will send you some written info on this topic. It’s obviously come up for much discussion withinThe Oval Office on many an occasion. No-one will think you are a worry-wart. They’ll probably be pleased to hear from you.

I spent from 1995 until 2005 living in various countries from Sweden to Peru, Italy to Zambia, and was always extremely well received when I said I was Australian. That was until it became obvious to the world that we had become a bunch of racist filth collectively. Then people of all nationalities started to react differently when they heard That I was Australian.
Before the Tampa incident we Australians could hold our heads high and safely declare ourselves to be Aussies anywhere in the world. But since then and our shameful involvement in the Iraq debacle, when Aussie travellers and expats declare their (our) nationality you can see people’s faces shudder and hesitate in a way that was once reserved for when someone said that they were American or South African. An Australian passport was one of the safest travel documents in the world, along with Scandinavian and New Zealand passports. Australians, Kiwis and Scandinavians were often released unharmed by kidnappers while Americans, Brits and Israelis were held for ransom, torture, or even worse.
White Australia is multicultural by definition, is it not? Or is Australia only for the English?

The point we are trying to make is exactly that……. “fuck off we ARE full!”, we (australians) have allways hated imigrents… from the mining era where we would fight the chinese and all thoes slopes to the abouriginals.. (who won cause thay owned the land first) just like the abouriginals beat us we will win over you tossers who demand a “Fair go” This is our country where you come from is Yours so fucking stay there!!!!!

I don’t have an Australian citizenship at the moment but I study there. To tell the truth, sometimes I feel that Aussies are racist, just some of them, and it really makes me sad.
Another point that I have been thinking to myself all along is that how can you say fuck off you are full since the country was not originally yours, you took it from the aboriginals, right?
I hope we all can live in peace.

Fuck the police. Of course they were upset. People they did not know busted into their house and began searching their personal belongings. How would you like it if I did that to you and your family? A shiny piece of metal on your shirt doesn’t make it legitimate, it just makes it legal.

You should acquaint yourself with the FACTS of the Tampa incident. In actual fact the Australian military and police behaved in a manner that is of immense credit to our country, despite severe provocation from many refugees on board who behaved as little more than thugs. I LIVE IN EUROPE AND NO ONE IS ASHAMED THAN I AM AUSTRALIAN - WE ARE RESPECTED and that the fact that you are not, as well as the spitefull rubbish you have written, suggests that any problems you have in forming relationships with people are not a consequence of you calling youself Australian. I would suggest that you are probably another brainless Mo. I really find DHs like you laughable - you are the first to run and hide when trouble comes, expecting that the people you have implicitly insulted in your dumb post will come and help you!
Yes Dick, the europeans took over Australia and they did many things badly. However, there was another population here before the aboriginal migrated into Oz across a land bridge - they are gone. And we can say we are full because (1) Australia cannot support a significant population (2) Many of those who are now living in our house have shown that they will not respect others and that they cannot respect our rule of law. When Australian dislike someone it is for a good reason - I know of people from many different cultures and colors who have been whole heartedly accepted into our communities - sometimes the process takes a little while but, if you work for the benefit of the community, you are quickly accepted. On the other hand, if you are a typical loud mouthed muslim thug who believes that the world owes you a living because you are too stupid to read more than one book - well - YOU ARE NOT WELCOME!!
