What is the US doing?

I support the current US administration because the alternative seems worse, far worse. But the unbelievable ignorance, the total lack of comprehension, the most ridiculous mistakes in ME policy are typical for most, perhaps all Americans who are unable to grasp that we don’t all ‘want the same thing’ and that democracy and Islam are diametrically opposed.

Here are some of the most recent examples of US-naiveté and foolishness:
Palestinians’ ‘Saddam Street’ funded by US

Major thoroughfare in West Bank funded by USAID honors executed Iraqi dictator to emphasize ‘values of Arabness, Jihad he represented’
Aaron Klein, WND
From Ynetnews

Palestinians in the northern West Bank have named a major street after late Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein that was funded – along with the surrounding municipality – by the United States Agency for International Development.

U.S. military: Iraqi lawmaker is U.S. Embassy bomber

Jamal Jafaar Mohammed, sentenced to death for bombing French and U.S. embassies, now sits in the Iraqi parliament.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) — A man sentenced to death in Kuwait for the 1983 bombings of the U.S. and French embassies now sits in Iraq’s parliament as a member of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki’s ruling coalition, according to U.S. military intelligence.
Jamal Jafaar Mohammed’s seat in parliament gives him immunity from prosecution. Washington says he supports Shiite insurgents and acts as an Iranian agent in Iraq.

  1. I know exactly what the US is doing-not enough. Wasting money on the dregs of humanity is a disgrace. Not zapping that terrorist pig in Iraq’s parliament is inexcusable. Avoiding collateral damage to the point that American troops are needlessly endangered is scandalous. The US needs to use an iron fist when dealing with filth-it’s the only thing said filth understands.
