There are No Words…

Just when you think you can’t possibly be any more appalled by the savagery of the jihadis, you read something like this. From Damian Thompson’s blog at the Telegraph: The Christian victims of Iraq.

The West’s lack of interest in the fate of the Assyrians is disgusting, as you can read in this brilliant article by Ed West in the Catholic Herald. Here is how the piece starts:

“When they cook a dish in the Middle East, it is traditional to put the meat on top of the rice when they serve it. They kidnapped a woman’s baby in Baghdad, a toddler, and because the mother was unable to pay the ransom, they returned her child – beheaded, roasted and served on a mound of rice.

“The infant’s crime was to be an Assyrian, but this story, reported by the Barnabus Fund, went unnoticed in the West, like so many other horrific accounts of Christian persecution in Iraq. Since the invasion of Iraq, Muslim militants have bombed 28 churches and murdered hundreds of Christians. Last October, Islamists beheaded a priest in Mosul in revenge for the Pope’s remarks about Islam at Regensburg.”

Jihad Watch has a take on this story also, here

  1. Fucking bastards, Islam has to be put to a stop; this insanity has to stop, out and out sick bastards. I hope king wanker bastard is reading this news.

  2. All infidels should get out of cesspoolia. So long as they live among savages like these we will keep on seeing such horror stories.

Nice to see how the media missed this. It’s too busy telling s how peaceful Islam is and exposing those who try to say otherwise.

  3. Check this video out sheik, an aggressive Mohammedan bastard robbing and screwing the Australian system

Maybe the story went unnoticed in the ‘West’ because it’s total and utter b*llsh*t. ”

You wish!! Every day they come up with new ideas to make people suffer. And the worst part is many are their own – like this.
No MSM are going to publish a story like this: they are gutless!

  5. that’s a pretty impressive looking church the Assyrians have in the middle of Baghdad. Looked pretty full too. No surprise really, considering there are 250 000 Christians living in Baghdad alone.
    Got this from
“With the fall of Saddam Hussein, after years of living peacefully with Sunnis and Shi’ites, Christians became the target of sectarian violence. Churches were bombed and Christians kidnapped. In the minds of some Muslims, Christians were associated with Western forces. Many of Iraq’s liquor stores were owned by Christians, since Islam forbids the use of alcoholic beverages, and the stores were frequently firebombed. Christian women took to wearing the veil to avoid being attacked on the street. ”

As vile a dictator that Saddam was he was good for Iraq. The West has a lot to answer for in illegally removing him from power.

  6. Atheist:

I was in favour of the Coalition getting rid of saddam at the time, especially after I read about his “human shredding machine” and other “creative” methods for death and torture.

Now I am sure I don’t want to see any more deaths on either side.

In that way I agree with you. (yes,, agree!!). Saddam obviously knew how to control Iraq, for better or for worse.

The main problem I believe was no one factored in the rise of the insurgents and also the west was dismally ignorant of islam, it’s beliefs and its tribalism.

Thanks for agreeing with me. You say: “no one factored in the rise of the insurgents….”. You are joking aren’t you ? Most commentators on the left predicted this well before the invasion. It’s a no brainer really .

  8. Not joking. Did you KNOW they would come out and kill more muslims than the Coalition? No one could have known that.
Everyone thought they would go after the Coalition, not the civilians.

  9. Gramfan,
you need to watch ABC and SBS more. A civil war between the shiites and sunnis was predicted WELL before the invasion. You epitomise the ignorance of the loony right. It truly is shameful that you could be that ignorant and all along I credited you with being half informed.
