U.N.: U.S. offers refuge to Palestinians
DAMASCUS, Syria, April 5 (UPI) – The head of a U.N. agency charged with caring for Palestinian refugees said the United States has offered to receive 7,000 Palestinians who fled Iraq.
Karen Koning AbuZayd, commissioner general of the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, said Thursday no specific country has offered to receive Palestinian refugees in Iraq, “but I know the United States confirmed it can take 7,000 of them.”
She told United Press International in Damascus that while there were no plans to permanently settle Palestinian refugees, “some live in difficult conditions, especially those from Iraq and who are stranded on the Iraqi borders” with Syria and with Jordan. The UNRWA chief noted her agency and the U.N. high commissioner for refugees have requested third countries to grant refuge to Palestinians from Iraq.

The State Department apparently wants to clear up a pesky foreign policy problem by dumping thousands of stateless Palestinians from Iraq on America’s towns and cities. Where do I start? First, did we really invade Iraq so we could move “Saddam’s People” to Schenectady? Second, this is a perversion of the very idea of refugee resettlement, which should be reserved only for the most desperate people in the world who will never have anywhere else to settle—and last time I checked, the Arabian peninsula was mostly empty and awash with money, so it’s their problem, not ours. And third, this highlights another thing we failed to do when we took over Iraq, which was to issue citizenship papers to the Palestinians, affording them permanent status in contrast to Arab governments’ insistence on denying citizenship to even locally born Palestinians, so as to keep them as alienated and as aggrieved as possible against Israel.

This is a satirical website. None of what you read here has anything to do with Islam, because Islam is a Religion of Peace. Everybody knows that good Muslims never do the things they do, (because Allah does it for them, Quran 8:12) and we know that only our misperceptions, ignorance and stereotyping of Islam makes Muslims chop off heads, kill and rape women and children, bomb subways, buses, nightclubs and fly jets into buildings. If it wasn't for the media and da Jooozzz, we wouldn't even know its happening.
We welcome open, honest, thoughtful, and vigorous discussion in the comments threads, so do yourself a favour and don't accuse us of being 'haters' because we are loving, tolerant people. Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way...
But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it. If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted.
Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth,
(we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it!
One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for
trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display.

Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

No muslim country wants them. Why should the US take them?
And I thought they were waiting for the Israelis to vacate anyway.
I’m sick to death of bringing these Ameica – haters to our land. Can’t we learn a damn thing from Europe? France? the Netherlands? I wish that I could sue the government for endangering my life. How come our government officials are not held responsible for their actions?
Hopefully, this is just some UN jerk blowing hot air …
(Can we find out who in the State Dept can make such an “offer to receive” Palestinian refugees? and start deluging that person / department with emails & snail-mails of protest? Before it turns into the truth?)

And if/when those identities are exposed, I will ask whether these 7000+ French Jews were offered asylum too.
