Anger at taxi drivers
Taxi drivers in Sydney and Melbourne are being accused of refusing to pick up blind passengers with guide dogs.

The treatment of the vision impaired has been exposed by Human Rights and Disability Discrimination Commissioner Graeme Innes, who is blind and reliant on his guide dog.

Mr Innes says he’s regularly refused service and believes many drivers cite religious reasons for not letting dogs in their cabs.

On one occasion, a cabbie told Mr Innes a fake accreditation number when he threatened to pursue the matter further.

Vision Australia’s head of policy and advocacy Michael Simpson says the problem is worsening in the Sydney Metropolitan areas as well as Melbourne’s CBD.

Mr Innes is now calling for better training for all front line public transport staff in dealing with disabled passengers.

Yet another hit to the wedge developing between Muslims and Aussies. If you permit them to look different, speak different, act different, and worship in foreign looking buildings, then don’t be surprised when they become aliens within Australia. It just reinforces their beliefs that they are superior.

Sure, everyone will play it down: “oh it’s just a minority of radicals”. Sure, sure, sure, sure, sure, sure, sure heard that line a lot before. Time for the culture police in Australia. Don’t give them a inch!

Why muslims dislike dogs? Dogs have a sixth sense, they know a scumbag when they see one and m0hammad was that scumbag.
This will not work well for the indoctrinated bigots of islam, the authorities cannot allow the blind to be stranded on sidewalks left to their own devices, the blind rely heavily on the taxi service and the complete lack of empathy and total disregard for community obligations is an indictment on their inability to do the job. Last time the religion of bigots tried this in Melbourne some 200 drivers had their licences revoked after unsuccessful counseling, they will not win but they’ll keep trying…

Oh, the joy I shall have watching lefties squirm as they try and figure out which minority has more ‘rights’.
Seriously, a line needs to be drawn in the sand. For too long, we have been told to accomodate all cultures and make allowances for cultural differences. NO MORE. Here is an excellent situation to highlight the intolerance of certain cultural mindsets and their inability to adapt to Australian values.
Can someone please explain why we never had this fuss with the Italians, the Greeks, the Cambodians, the Vietnamese or the Lebanese Christians? And why are we putting up with this?
