This is the sort of “moderate Muslim” that our Government allows
into our country for Da’wah (Propagation of Islam). “Harmony” and “celebration of diversity” and “alliance of civilizations” are one-way concepts where Islam is concerned.
The blind lead the blind, however, and Zakir Naik and his deluded co-religionists are headed for the ditch of their own digging, with

They are always in a rage as it seems to me they have no concept of “gainful employment”. If they had something to do and something to protect and love they may change their minds.

I’ve had a search around the internet and, interestingly, can’t find much reference to this in British newspapers. I heard some reports about it at the time but our media here have blindfolds on, pretty much, with regard to this kind of behaviour. I don’t think the British government helps - in fact the ‘new’ government, under Brown, seems determined to ignore it in the hope it’ll all go away. I reckon that’s partly because Brown’s lot want to keep the muslim vote sweet in the inner cities, where the Labour vote is strongest. And Brown wants an election victory he can call his own, now that they’ve got rid of the best leader they’ve had in decades, who appealed ACROSS the political spectrum and not just to the factioned few.
The fact that Blair was not afraid to voice his concerns over the growing problem in some mosques, (and perhaps in some prisons, according to today’s news), is one of the reasons, imho, he is no longer our PM.
Thumbing his nose at the lot of them by giving Rushdie a knighthood was the least he could do before his party sent him off into the sunset. Now Brown is touching his forelock to them.
These people, who incite violence and hatred need to be deported - the sooner the better, so that decent law-abiding muslims and the rest of us can get on with our own way of life. If they and their families want to live here in the west, they must accept OUR culture. No Sharia law, no threatening our monarch, politicians, or people.
