Terror Plot “One Of The Most Chilling Imaginable”

Breaking News:

JFK plot: “Even the Twin Towers can’t touch it…this can destroy the economy of America for some time”

Glorying in destruction. More on the JFK plot from WNBC.com:

In discussing JFK airport as a target, Defreitas exulted over JFK airport’s symbolic importance, according to a U.S. Justice Department complaint:
“Anytime you hit Kennedy, it is the most hurtful thing to the United States. To hit John F. Kennedy, wow …. They love John F. Kennedy like he’s the man …. If you hit that, this whole country will be in mourning. It’s like you can kill the man twice. ”

In a later recorded conversation with his coconspirators in May 2007, Defreitas compared the plot to attack JFK airport to the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, stating, “even the Twin Towers can’t touch it,” adding that, “this can destroy the economy of America for some time.”

Sources said the planning stages of the plot involved surveillance of JFK airport as well as scouting out US properties in Guyana for possible attacks.

U.S. Attorney Roslynn R. Mauskopf called it “one of the most chilling plots imaginable.”

“The devastation that would be caused had this plot succeeded is just unthinkable,” she said at a news conference.

NYC Airport Bomb Plot Leads To 3 Arrests (make it 4)

The arrests mark the latest in a series of homegrown terrorism plots that targeted high-profile Amerian landmarks.

A year ago, seven men were arrested in what officials called the early stages of a plot to blow up the Sears Tower in Chicago and destroy FBI offices and other buildings. A month later, authorities broke up a plot to bomb underwater New York City train tunnels to flood lower Manhattan.

And six people were arrested a month ago in a plot to unleash a bloody rampage on Fort Dix in New Jersey.

“Seven men,” a “plot,” and “six people.” What did all three of those plots have in common? Yes, that’s right, you’ll never believe this, but they were all…Islamic jihad plots. Imagine that! Yet you would get no hint of that from this story. No, it was all the work of “men,” and “people.” And those “people” were probably all males also. I trust that the relevant law enforcement officials are stepping up their anti-male efforts now, so that we don’t keep on seeing these kinds of plots.

JFK plotters identified

NEW YORK — According to NewsChannel4’s Jonathan Dienst, three people were arrested and one other was being sought Saturday in connection to a plot to blow up jet-fuel lines at John F. Kennedy International Airport, officials said.
Four people have been charged. One is in custody in New York. Three suspects in total are in custody. One is still at large in Trinidad.

According to sources, the suspects have been identified as: Russell Defreitas, Abdul Nur, Kareem Ibrihim and Abdul Kadir.

* Kadir, a former member of Parliament in Guyana, was arrested in Trinidad for attempting to secure money for “terrorist operations,” according to a Guyanese police commander who spoke on condition of anonymity.

* How does such a freak get to enter the US?
Kadir, a Muslim, left his position in Parliament last year. Muslims make up about 9 percent of the former Dutch and British colony’s 770,000 population, mostly from the Sunni sect.

* Hmm, stranger than fiction: Clinton & Peanut Khadr and all these guys always tell us its ‘poverty’ that causes terrorism…

* Btw: Abdul Kadir’ daughter says:

“He was only arrested because he was a Muslim”
Sources said a cargo worker at JFK allegedly began to plot attacking the US last July or August. The cargo worker sought help in carrying out a plan and went to an FBI informant, who gathered information about the plot.
The cargo worker is a U.S. citizen with roots in Guyana. Sources said he be a former government official in Guyana.
Sources said counter-terrorism officials have been following the plot for a little less than one year.
Sources said the plot involved a plan to blow up a BuckEye jet-fuel pipeline at JFK setting off a potential massive explosion. BuckEye provides fuel to all three NYC-area airports.
Sources said the plot involved putting explosives inside the fuel pipeline but realized that “it was not technically feasible.”
Sources said the planning stages of the plot involved surveillance of JFK airport as well as scouting out US properties in Guyana for possible attacks.

Aussie Crackpot to Petraeus: “If I were a Muslim, I’d probably be a jihadist”

Fuckwit Alert:

In “Pay attention to jihad,” Diana West skewers the breathtaking ignorance of Lt. Col. David Kilcullen and others in positions of authority:

“If I were a Muslim, I’d probably be a jihadist. The thing that drives these guys — a sense of adventure, wanting to be part of the moment, wanting to be in the big movement of history that’s happening now — that’s the same thing that drives me, you know?” No. I don’t know. And I sorely wish I could tell him so — “him” being David Kilcullen, senior counterinsurgency adviser to Gen. David Petraeus, senior commander in Iraq.
With this bizarro depiction of jihadists-as-swashbucklers, Lt. Col. David Kilcullen, an Australian Army officer “on loan” to the U.S. government, should probably have been sent back with: “And I suppose if you had been a German during a certain world war, you would have been a Nazi, eh? Who more than those Third Reich ‘guys’ wanted to be in ‘the big movement of history’? Grr. Thanks, mate, but no thanks. Go play Abu Robin al-Hood down under.”

Of course, Col. Kilcullen made his outrageous comment almost six months ago to the New Yorker’s George Packer and is still on the job. But when a key counterinsurgency advisor in Iraq identifies with jihadists, it’s not just a matter of surrealism — hallucinations — at the top. As they say at NASA when things are about to fall out of the sky: Houston, we’ve got a problem.

Why? Such remarks convey either non-comprehension or indifference to the evil nature of jihad. Or both. Such neutrality, if that’s the word for it, also marks Col. Kilcullen’s discussion of his big, formative idea: lessons drawn from what he refers to as “an Islamic insurgency in West Java and a Christian-separatist insurgency in East Timor.” In the latter case, the language is jarring for what Serge Trifkovic has described this way: “In the motivation, patterns, and perceptions of the actors on the ground — killers and victims alike — East Timor was an Islamic jihad against Christian infidels” that left as many as 200,000 East Timorese dead.

In Col. Kilcullen’s Islam-blind view of the world, such events become plain-vanilla conflicts without moral distinction, differentiated only by the advent of global media coverage — a large obstacle, he maintains, to winning counterinsurgencies. Indeed, he compares Indonesia’s role in East Timor (where Indonesia ultimately failed, he says, due to global media) with the U.S. role in Iraq. This is a weirdly shocking way to see the American struggle against varyingly jihadist factions — particularly for someone advising the U.S. military.

It’s hard to say what’s worse: ignorance of jihad, for which there’s no excuse at this advanced stage of war, or indifference to it, for which there’s never an excuse. Both attitudes deeply imbue U.S. war policy. As Col. Kilcullen would (and has) put it, “the Islamic bit is secondary.” Far more important to this Australian anthropologist are what he calls “social networks.” Mr. Packer writes: “He noted that all fifteen Saudi [September 11] hijackers had trouble with their fathers.” Oh, brother — as if half the people in the world don’t have trouble with their fathers (but don’t hijack airplanes for Allah).

Armchair generals and psycho-babblers:

“I cannot think of another case of so many highly educated officers advising a general,” said Carter Malkasian, who has advised Marine Corps commanders in Iraq on counterinsurgency and himself holds an Oxford doctorate in the history of war.

*Right. ‘Highly educated’ wankers who don’t know s#*t about Muslims and jihad. That will fix it…

Afghanistan: Boot sinks, 60 Taliban drown

No doubt it was the will of Allah…

The MSM still calls them ‘militants’ and ‘insurgents’- but not to worry: They are dead. But isn’t that -somehow- the fault of BUSH???

KABUL, Afghanistan  Story from AP via FOX—  A boat crossing a river in Afghanistan’s most dangerous province sank on Saturday, and at least 60 people were killed, including Taliban militants, the Defense Ministry said.

The boat sank while crossing the Helmand River, which snakes through Helmand province, the world’s leading opium poppy region and site of fierce battles the last several months. Hundreds of Taliban insurgents are believed to be in Helmand.

The Afghan army was investigating to see how many Taliban insurgents and how many civilians were on board, the ministry said. The brief statement did not say what caused the boat to sink or why officials believed militants were on board.

Elsewhere, suspected Taliban militants attacked a local police commander’s home, killing five of his family members and sparking a gunbattle with police that left 10 insurgents dead, an official said.

The attack in the southeastern province of Ghazni killed the commander’s wife, two sons and two nephews, said Interior Ministry spokesman Zemeri Bashary. The commander worked for Afghanistan’s auxiliary police, a system of backup officers who supplement the country’s regular police force.

Taliban militants often target police and government officials. More than 1,900 people have been killed in insurgency-related violence in Afghanistan this year, according to an Associated Press count based on U.S., NATO and Afghan officials.

At a rally in Pakistan, a man described as the Taliban’s new top field commander vowed in an audiotaped message to liberate Afghanistan from “American slavery,” said Abdul Sattar Chishti, the cleric who organized the event.

Chishti said more than 12,000 people listened to the speech by the brother of Mullah Dadullah, the top Taliban commander who was killed in a U.S. operation last month in southern Afghanistan.

He said Dadullah Mansoor vowed to avenge his brother’s death and those of others killed while fighting U.S., NATO and Afghan forces.

“The blood of my brother will never go waste. We will never forget his sacrifices, and the role of other martyrs. We will complete Dadullah’s mission by expelling Americans and liberating Afghanistan,” Chishti quoted Mansoor as saying.

It was not immediately possible to verify Chishti’s claims about the rally at Killi Nalai, a village about 45 miles west of Quetta near the Afghan border. Although pro-Taliban elders have held similar rallies in northwestern tribal regions, protests the size of the one organized in Killi Nalai are rare.

Looking at the Middle East, Four Decades after the Six-Day War

By Christoph Schult in Jerusalem SPIEGEL ONLINE

Forty years after the Six-Day War, Israel continues to face problems on its borders, from shootouts in Gaza to fighting in Lebanon. Indeed, the Israeli triumph of 1967 has proven to be a false victory.

Former Israeli soldier Shaul Arieli is fighting today to shrink the size of the security fence that cuts deeply into the Palestinian region.

Shaul Arieli knows from experience how difficult it is to suppress a people with military force. He was in command of the Israeli brigade stationed in the Gaza Strip in the early 1990s.

Arieli, now 48, still looks like a soldier. His head is shaved and his neck and upper arms are muscular. But he has switched sides and joined the peace camp. His arguments are cold, hard facts. In 1967, he says, about 2.4 million Jews and 1.2 million Arabs lived in the region between the Mediterranean and Jordan, which the settlers call Erez Israel.

As a result of their higher birth rate, the Palestinians have almost made up the difference today. While the number of Jews in Israel has more than doubled, four times as many Palestinians live there today than 40 years ago. Today there are 5 million Arabs and 5.3 million Jews living on Israeli territory.

“The Arabs will be the majority in a few years,” says Arieli. In Israel’s core, there are five Jews to every Arab. If this ratio were expanded to the territories captured in 1967, he says, 16 million Jews would have to emigrate to Israel.
“There aren’t that many Jews in the entire world,” says Arieli.

The Story of the Monster Pig

Farmers: ‘Monster Pig’ Not a Wild Hog, But Was Their Pet Pig ‘Fred’

Story from AP via FOX

Poor Hog

FRUITHURST, Ala. —  The Mystery of the Monster pig appears to have been solved.

The 1,051-pound hog, shot and killed by 11-year-old Jamison Stone and the subject of a world-wide Web firestorm over the photo’s authenticity, really is…

That’s “Fred” the pig, and according to Rhonda and Phil Blissitt their humongous hog escaped on April 29, four days before it was killed, according to the Star newspaper.

Late Thursday evening, their claims were confirmed by Andy Howell, Game Warden for the Alabama Department of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries.

“I didn’t want to stir up anything,” Rhonda Blissitt said. “I just wanted the truth to be told. That wasn’t a wild pig.”

Her husband agreed.

“If it went down in the record book, it would be deceiving, and we’d know that for the rest of our lives.”

The monster hog gained worldwide acclaim after he was bagged by 11-year-old Jamison Stone, a Pickensville native, with a .50-caliber pistol on May 3 at the Lost Creek Plantation, LLC, a hunting preserve in Delta. The big boar was hunted inside a large, low-fence enclosure and fired upon 16 times by Stone, who struck the animal nearly a half-dozen times during the three-hour hunt.

“Human Rights” Yes, But Only For Muslims!

“Concern for the human rights of blacks is a white thingaccording to the African despot Robert Mugabe, and many like him.

* Muslims believe that ‘human rights’ are the privilege of Muslims only. Since infidels, mushrikeen and filthy kuffars are not human, how can they possibly claim human rights?

This is a belief firmly held by many Muslims even in high places, in organizations like the UN and various human rights organizations. One of the worst examples is the excremental Irene ‘Gulag’ Khan, who sees nothing wrong with soiling her own nest.

* These views are widely held in the strange & weird world of Islam, especially in Saudi Arabia, as we can see here:

Monday in Saudi Arabia:

“‘We Don’t Need Foreign Groups to Come and Teach Us Human Rights,'”

by Raid Qusti for Arab News:

Maj. Gen. Ali Al-Harithy, the director general of prisons, said yesterday that prisoners in the Kingdom were not tortured or beaten on a large scale, and that beatings were “individual cases,” which should not be generalized.
Al-Harithy was referring to a report released last week by the National Society for Human Rights (NSHR) in Saudi Arabia. “Regulations, directives and the constitution state clearly that there should not be any violations against prisoners. … There are, however, individual mistakes, but that rarely happens. And if it does happen, then prisoner rights are fulfilled by punishing offenders,” he said.

Al-Harithy criticized visits by foreign human rights groups to the Kingdom, which recently included prison visits by Human Rights Watch. “We do not need foreign organizations to come here and teach our sons and daughters human rights. We are obliged to protect human rights by ourselves without anyone coming from outside and implying that we have to care about human rights in ‘the land of humanity’,” he said.

Public beheading in Sowdi Arabia

So much for that. Human Rights Watch is only good for condemning Israel.

Tuesday in Iran: “Talks Can Bolster Iraq Sovereignty,” from Iran Daily:

The European Union should make efforts to improve its own human rights situation instead of focusing on conditions in Iran.
Reacting to recent statements of the European Union rotating president, Jose Manuel Barroso, who expressed concern over human rights conditions in Iran, Mohammad Ali Hosseini said Barroso’s remarks constitute interference in Iran’s internal affairs, Fars News Agency reported.

* Memories of the old Soviet Union…

“Barroso should better concentrate on social maladies in EU member-states and evident cases of human rights violation in many EU countries” he said.

Hosseini opined that the EU should focus on human rights violation in their secret prisons, the use of European airports for transferring CIA prisoners and violation of the rights of ethnic and religious minorities, particularly Muslims, immigrants and asylum-seekers.

The EU can investigate others, but don’t meddle in our private affairs.

Stoning Victim

“We will never surrender Islam in the face of human rights concerns”

He said it. “Iranian regime’s judiciary advisor defends the inhumane punishment by stoning,” from the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (thanks to Dhimmi Watch)

NCRI – Mohammad-Javad Larijani, the mullahs’ Judiciary Chief Advisor and an ideologue within the clerical regime, attended a gathering of “Prosecutors from Islamic Capitals in Tehran,” in which he defended the inhumane punishment of stoning and said, “We will never surrender Islam in the face of human rights concerns … During the adoption of these (human rights) laws, the world of Islam was in complete ignorance while liberals and secular parties formulated and imposed these laws onto the entire world … We must elucidate punishment by stoning clearly to those who denounce it. We had a revolution so that Islamic laws would be implemented … We will never give up Islam in the face of these challenges” (State-run news agency ILNA, May 30, 2007).
In another development, Saeed Agha Sadeghi, an advisor to the Chief of the Iranian regime’s Prisons Organization announced that the youth arrested and charged with being “thugs and hooligans” during the recent wave of crackdowns “will be denied all privileges in prison.” This is clearly an inhumane measure, which blatantly violates all international norms with regards to treatment of prisoners.

* Protest against the tyrannical rule of the mullah’s and you are a ‘thug and a hooligan’ without any human rights…

Islam ‘elevates’ women

The Iranian Resistance draws the attention of the United Nations Secretary General, High Commissioner for Human Rights, UN Human Rights Council, and all international human rights organizations to the rising and systematic human rights violations in Iran. It also calls for the referral of the mullahs’ appalling human rights record to the UN Security Council for the adoption of binding decisions.

A comment from an informed poster at Dhimmi Watch:

We will never surrender Islam in the face of human rights concerns … During the adoption of these (human rights) laws, the world of Islam was in complete ignorance
Islam is still in complete ignorance of the modern world and the people in Iran that follow this cult seem to want to return the seventh century where they were overlords of a lot of the known world and kept Female slaves and we need to remember the Islamic version of human rights to a Muslim only applies to Muslims because they only consider themselves a fully human person, and they will exploit and protect the dhimmi because of the protection money they can squeeze from them the following is a example
Maududi likewise wrote that non-Muslims have “absolutely no right to seize the reins of power in any part of God’s earth, nor to direct the collective affairs of human beings according to their own misconceived doctrines.” If they do, “the believers would be under an obligation to do their utmost to dislodge them from political power and to make them live in subservience to the Islamic way of life.”

But Qutb and Maududi did not originate these ideas. They are an extrapolation of Qur’anic passages such as 9:29, which assumes that Muslims will wield state power over Jews and Christians, exacting from them a poll tax (jizya) and making sure that they pay it “with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.” There is no concept in the Qur’an, Islamic tradition, or Islamic law of non-Muslims living as equals with Muslims in an Islamic state: Muslims must be in a superior position. The Muslim prophet Muhammad emphasized this

The BBC Racism Towards Israel and Jews!

Alan Johnston, captive Al Bebeeceera reporter in Palistan, sounds just like all the other hostages before him. No need to bother you with the video, LGF operative Zombie made a most accurate transcript here:

Here the report from WaPo

I just carefully went through the entire Johnston video and made a hyper-accurate transcription of EXACTLY every single word and syllable he says.

Note that the end of the video, in which there is an Arabic voice-over — has been trimmed off this version.

Here is the transcription, which I’ve triple-checked for accuracy:

First of all, my captors have treated me very well. They’ve fed me well, there’s been no violence towards me at all, and I’m in good health.

In three years here in the Palestinian Territories, I’ve witnessed the huge suffering of the Palestinian people. And, uh, my message is that their suffering is continuing, and that it is unacceptable. Every day, there are Palestinians arrested, imprisoned for no reason, people are killed on a daily basis, the economic suffering is terrible, especially here in Gaza, where’s there’s an Israeli … [technical glitch in the video] … in absolute despair after nearly forty years of Israeli occupation, which has been supported by the West.

The situation in Iraq is even worse. We see every day, uh, maybe a hundred or more Iraqis being killed in the violence there, which followed the failed invasion of Iraq by America and Britain. Ordinary people who are losing everything and can’t live their lives properly because of not just the violence but the shortage of everything they need for normal lives for bringing up their children.

Uh, Afghanistan, the situation again, terrible, you see on your television screens, ordinary people, village people, villagers suffering as the armies of America and Britain [glitch] attack. In all this, we can see the British government endlessly working to occupy, uh, the Muslim lands, against the will of the people in those places from history the British, eh, worked to bring about the state of Israel, which is the cause of all the suffering of, uh, the Israeli — uh, of the Palestinian people. And we the British are completely to blame along with the Americans for the situation in Iraq, and the British are the main force in Afghanistan, causing all the trouble to ordinary simple Afghans, who simply want to live.

A closer look into the activities of the BBC and Alan Johnston:

“The BBC seemed to operate in the Palestinian Authority with a sense of political impunity”

It is common knowledge that Johnston, who was abducted in Gaza on March 12, was one of the most pro-Palestinian reporters in the region. However, sources tell me that some in Hamas may have felt that his reporting had become too pro-Fatah, which is one possible factor in his abduction by a Hamas-connected group, and also a possible reason why (despite the BBC’s repeated claims that the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority is doing everything in its power to secure Johnston’s release) in fact the Palestinian Authority has been doing next to nothing to help release the kidnapped BBC man.

Was Johnston pro-Fatah?

Amazing that in the transcript above Johnston sounds just like the 2 Fox reporters who were forcibly converted to Islam while in captivity and had nothing but praise for their captors upon their release:

Fox News journalists Olaf Wiig from New Zealand, right, and Steve Centanni, left,

Only after their release did the real picture emerge: The statements had been made under duress, and the two journalists freed by militants Sunday described a harrowing two weeks of captivity when they were subject to abuse, tied up in painful positions and forced to convert at gunpoint.
“Don’t get me wrong here. I have the highest respect for Islam, and I learned a lot of good things about it,” Fox News correspondent Steve Centanni told the network after his release. “But it was something we felt we had to do because they had the guns, and we didn’t know what the hell was going o…

* Perhaps if they had learned something about Islam before they went to Gaza to report about the ‘Jewish occupation’ they would have a better understanding about what’s going on…

Indonesia: Bucktooth Bashir for President!

There is so much corruption everywhere and we need clean people to lead the country,”

Local Al-Qaeda Leader Mulls Run For Indonesian Presidency

Abu Bakar Bashir on his release from prison in June 2006

Tiny Minority of Extremists Update: will 240 million Indonesians go the route of Sharia? “Indonesia: Radical Muslim Cleric May Run For President In 2009,”

via Jihad Watch

Jakarta, 30 May (AKI) – Abu Bakar Bashir, the radical Muslim cleric who is spiritual leader of the al-Qaeda-linked militant group, Jemaah Islamiyah, is considering running for president in the 2009 elections. Fauzan Al Anshori, the spokesperson for Majelis Mujahidin Indonesia (MMI), an organisation made up of groups fighting for Islamic law or Sharia in Indonesia, told Adnkronos International (AKI), that “Bashir is considering the possibility.” “He said that he wants to see what the people say first,” Al Anshori told AKI.
Bashir, who is in his late 60s, was released from prison in 2006 after serving less than 26 months in Jakarta’s Cipinang penitentiary for conspiracy in the 2002 Bali bombings, which killed 202 people and thrust Indonesia onto the front lines of the war on terror. Bashir has consistently denied any connection to that or other attacks blamed on the Southeast Asian militant group, Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) whose objective is the creation of an Islamic ‘caliphate’ in the region.

The MMI spokesperson said that Bashir first had the idea of running in the 2009 presidential election after the scandal involving illegal funds in the 2004 electoral campaign first emerged. The scandal, which was made public a few weeks ago, appears to involve all the candidates in the election, including Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

“There is so much corruption everywhere and we need clean people to lead the country,” said Al Anshori.

Al Anshori said that through the election, Bashir could transform Indonesia from a secular state into an Islamic one. “The law we have was inherited from the Dutch (Indonesia’s former colonial power) and is not suited to Muslims,” said the MMI spokesperson.

What a guy!! He would run on an anti-corruption platform and then…..look out.

Indonesians must understand that voting for such a candidate would ensure they never vote again. The sad irony is that Basher would destroy the very same democratic system which affords him the opportunity to run for office.

A survey conducted by the Islamic and Societal Research Center between January and March this year on sample of 200 people between the ages of 17 and 70 years old, revealed that only 28 percent of the population would like Sharia or Islamic law to be imposed in the country.

* Hitlers NSDAP had about the same percentage when they came to power in Germany

The same survey however also revealed that the population had more faith in religious leaders than in political ones

Sharia here we come.

Geneva synagogue fire was arson, investigator says

Remember this? How they all went out of their way to describe this obvious case of arson as some kind of ‘electrical malfunction’ or some crap like that? Well, synagogues and churches don’t just burn by themselves, especially not from the front entrance

GENEVA, June 1 (Reuters) A fire that devastated Geneva’s largest synagogue last week was caused by arson, the investigating magistrate said on Friday.
Investigators had believed an electrical fault might have been to blame for the pre-dawn blaze in the empty building, which injured no one, but had now established it was started deliberately.
Magistrate Michel Graber told Swiss news agency SDA that investigators were seeking a DNA analysis from a cigarette butt found at the scene.
The May 24 fire largely destroyed the Hekhal Haness synagogue, built in the 1970s.
Wealthy Switzerland is known for public order and tolerance but has become increasingly the focus of religious tension, particularly targeting its Muslim minority.
Anti-Semitic acts that become public are rare, but in June 2001 an Israeli rabbi was shot dead on the streets of Zurich.
The fire took place during the Jewish holiday of Shavuot, which marks the giving of the Torah, the Jewish holy book, by God to Moses on Mount Sinai over 3,000 years ago.

*A certain religion has the nasty habit of attacking other religions on their high holidays. Although this is well documented and a repeating pattern can be found around the world to prove that this continues over more than one millennium the authorities are willfully blind to this menace.

Why do you think that is?
