BAGHDAD — Although Bush administration officials have frequently lashed out at Syria and Iran, accusing it of helping insurgents and militias here, the largest number of foreign fighters and suicide bombers in Iraq come from a third neighbor, Saudi Arabia, according to a senior U.S. military officer and Iraqi lawmakers.

About 45% of all foreign militants targeting U.S. troops and Iraqi civilians and security forces are from Saudi Arabia; 15% are from Syria and Lebanon; and 10% are from North Africa, according to official U.S. military figures made available to The Times by the senior officer. Nearly half of the 135 foreigners in U.S. detention facilities in Iraq are Saudis, he said.
Fighters from Saudi Arabia are thought to have carried out more suicide bombings than those of any other nationality, said the senior U.S. officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the subject’s sensitivity. It is apparently the first time a U.S. official has given such a breakdown on the role played by Saudi nationals in Iraq’s Sunni Arab insurgency.
He said 50% of all Saudi fighters in Iraq come here as suicide bombers. In the last six months, such bombings have killed or injured 4,000 Iraqis….
Askari also alleged that imams at Saudi mosques call for jihad, or holy war, against Iraq’s Shiites and that the government had funded groups causing unrest in Iraq’s largely Shiite south. Sunni extremists regard Shiites as unbelievers.

This is a satirical website. None of what you read here has anything to do with Islam, because Islam is a Religion of Peace. Everybody knows that good Muslims never do the things they do, (because Allah does it for them, Quran 8:12) and we know that only our misperceptions, ignorance and stereotyping of Islam makes Muslims chop off heads, kill and rape women and children, bomb subways, buses, nightclubs and fly jets into buildings. If it wasn't for the media and da Jooozzz, we wouldn't even know its happening.
We welcome open, honest, thoughtful, and vigorous discussion in the comments threads, so do yourself a favour and don't accuse us of being 'haters' because we are loving, tolerant people. Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way...
But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it. If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted.
Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth,
(we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it!
One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for
trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display.

Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

Funny-back in 1990, when Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait the Saudis were wetting themselves with fear because they figured they’d be next. “Please help us America” was the cry and the US and its allies stupidly helped these ungrateful losers, triggering a series of events that takes us right to the present. The Saudis couldn’t fight then, but they can now. How convenient-they won’t kill their “brothers” but killing those who’ve given them so much in blood and money doesn’t seem to be a problem. Infidelophobia strikes again and we stupidly allow it.
Saudis bought a lot of fighter planes from us – and had no one to fly them.
The Saudis have a University in their sand box, but the degree that most of their population gets is one in some aspect of the koran/islam. Nothing useful, instead they are trained as UBL was trained – in wahabbism.
At one point in time the Saudis tried to get their population to start getting educated in useful things and to get them to do that they tried bribery – so very few took the offer though.
Saudi Arabia, and its population need dhimmi (us) in order to carry on in any way. They are quite possibly the most useless, nasty, group of people that this globe has while they believe themselves to be superior. When their oil runs out – they won’t have much, as I read. But, I don’t know if that is totally true since they have quite a big chunk of money in our economy/businesses. That is why our businesses (especially our news medias – including Fox news, and our Universities, etc) kiss Saudi butt. When the Saudis have money in our institutions – they expect favors. And it has been in the form of pushing islam on us – smoothing it over.
Fox news was ‘asked’ to not say muslim youth during the French riots – instead they started saying ‘disaffected youth’. Now we hear that same sort of rhetoric quite often – we hear it in Great Britain – which makes me think who is getting money from the Saudis now.
Saudi Arabia is not our friend. They have been paying jihadists to be trained in Pakistan for quite some time. And Musharaff is playing both sides of his butt, as are the Saudis. The Saudis can make a disclaimer to it all because it isn’t in their sand box that they train. No one mentions that when we went to Bosnia and got a hold of some PCs there – Prince Abdullah was one of the ones who was mentioned quite often (money supplier?!).
I should say that any man who died for a Saudi is disgraceful – not on him, but on our politicians AND military/Pentagon who sent him there. Saudi Arabia is the one pushing wahabbism throughout the world and slaughtering non-muslims.
No, they cannot fight an army because they are pathetic, but their religion teaches jihad and martyrdom (suicide bombers) is something that their dull witted population can do.
