Pope Rage Again? Pope’s Aide Knocks the ‘Religion of Peace’

BERLIN — Pope Benedict XVI’s personal secretary has warned against the spread of Islam in the West in an interview with a German newspaper published Friday.
“We cannot deny the attempts to spread Islam in the West. And we should not be too understanding and let this blind us to the threat to Europe’s identity,” Georg Gaenswein told the weekly magazine of the Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper. “The Catholic Church sees it clearly and is not afraid to say so,” he added.
Gaenswein described as “prophetic” the highly controversial speech that the Pope made at the University of Regensburg when he visited Germany last September in which he seemed to link Islam to violence.
“The speech was precisely meant to counter a kind of naiveté. It is clear that there is not only one Islam and the Pope does not know anybody who speaks with binding authority to all Muslims,” he said. “The concept groups many different schools … some of whom use the Koran to justify reaching for a gun,” he said.
In the speech at the University of Regensburg in his native Germany, Pope Benedict quoted a medieval Christian emperor who criticized some teachings of the Prophet Mohammed as “evil and inhuman.”

The lecture sparked days of sometimes violent protests in Muslim countries, prompting the pontiff to say that he was “deeply sorry” for any offense and to attribute Muslim anger to an “unfortunate misunderstanding.”
But he stopped short of apologizing for the remarks.
The Vatican Web site posted an annotated version of the speech, in which Pope Benedict wrote that the offending phrase “does not express my personal opinion on the Koran, for which I feel the respect that is due to the holy book of a great religion.”
On a lighter note, Gaenswein revealed in the interview that the Pope always wears white, even in private, but declined to confirm reports that he wears shoes by the Italian luxury brand Prada.

This is a satirical website. None of what you read here has anything to do with Islam, because Islam is a Religion of Peace. Everybody knows that good Muslims never do the things they do, (because Allah does it for them, Quran 8:12) and we know that only our misperceptions, ignorance and stereotyping of Islam makes Muslims chop off heads, kill and rape women and children, bomb subways, buses, nightclubs and fly jets into buildings. If it wasn't for the media and da Jooozzz, we wouldn't even know its happening.
We welcome open, honest, thoughtful, and vigorous discussion in the comments threads, so do yourself a favour and don't accuse us of being 'haters' because we are loving, tolerant people. Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way...
But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it. If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted.
Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth,
(we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it!
One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for
trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display.
But you won't be back, trust me on that.
Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

At the rate Europe’s going the Pope may need to relocate to the Americas or Australia-soon the Vatican will be an island in a sea of Islamania.
As Lawrence Summers points out, until the Pope negates Vatican II, which states that Muslims adore the same God as Christians, it is pointless. You can’t backpedal as the Pope did when the Muslims raised hell after Regensburg and now try to restart.
Good job by the Catholics and their leaders. The Pope has shown some courage. More than most other world leaders, who’ve not shown any. Whatever inspires dialogue is good.

Allah is a fake, who is neither begotten, nor begets. He is not the God of the Bible, no matter what the Popes say or think.
The Catholic News Service version of the story is a little more forceful, and calls for Christians to “act to protect the Christian identity of Europe”. I’m not quite sure how Georg Ganswein would go about protecting this identity, given that Islamisation is under way, not just by jihad, but through Sharia banking and halal food certification, mosque construction, modification of public buildings & prisons to be Sharia-compliant etc.

Actually, Labour and Liberal have made a pact to not make immigration an election issure, so the reverse third world colonisation of Oz will continue unabated. I’m not voting for either party, but the alternatives aren’t looking to good.

If I hear or see another ad for or against “Work Choices” or whatever it is this week, I’ll be tempted to hurl a brick at the TV. If I start hearing any party or polly talking about restricting immigration, reversing islamisation etc, I will listen intently & consider giving them my vote. I don’t mean handwaving and hot air, and “I had advice” and “My office got a cable but I never saw it”, but clear and believable policies, with no ambiguity & let-out clauses.
