* Two men hijacked a plane flying to Istanbul this morning, apparently as a “protest” against the United States. The incident ended without violence, thankfully, but one of the hijackers produced our line of the day:
“We are Muslims,” the passengers quoted one of the hijackers as saying.
I guess they’re tired of the PC media leaving that information out. But was there any question about that?

Turkey’s Transport Minister Osman Gunes said one hijacker is Turkish, while the other is believed to be Palestinian carrying a Syrian passport. Passenger Erhan Erkul told NTV that the hijackers ran toward the cockpit shortly after takeoff, tried to break down the door but failed. “They claimed to have bombs,” Erkul said.
Passengers speaking to NTV and CNN-Turk said the hijackers spoke Arabic to each other and promised not to harm the passengers. “We are Muslims,” the passengers quoted one of the hijackers as saying.

German Woman Kidnapped in Kabul Eatery

In Saturday’s abduction in Kabul, the armed men pulled up next to a barbecue and fast food restaurant, and one of the men went inside and asked to order a pizza, said intelligence officials investigating the kidnapping. Two assailants waited outside, while another waited in a parked gray Toyota Corolla.
The man in the restaurant then pulled out a pistol, walked up to a table where the woman was sitting with her boyfriend, and took her away, the officials said on condition of anonymity because of policy. It was not immediately clear what happened to the boyfriend.
Police, alerted to the kidnapping, spotted the speeding car and opened fire, but instead hit a nearby taxi and killed its driver.

Did they insist on saying “prayers”, shouting “Allah Akbar”, and changing their seats? Will the Turkish equivalent of CAIR sue for “racial” profiling? Will Ajmal Masroor blame the media?
