MSNBC’s Dan Abrams Slams “CNN’s Holy War”

Why has Christiane Amanpour not gone the way of Dan Rather? I am sure she is right now working on her next big project – that will guarantee her next big pay check. She is far less a journalist and much more a liar and fraud than Dan Rather ever was. Yes, she is a woman, Iranian and savvy. Does that make her cool? Does that trump honesty? Where is truth in all this? The MSM is all about the story that will win ratings, first of all, and propaganda reflecting the twisted views of “journalists” and their superiors, secondly. Sure, MSNBC may laudably air a report that is critical, but how did Amanpour and her associates ever get CNN to broadcast the crud in the first place?

* That’s easy:

CNN is a Time-Warner company and Arabs own a solid majority in it.

The August 27th broadcast of MSNBC’s Live with Dan Abrams slammed CNN’s “God’s Warriors” as biased shoddy journalism, with host Dan Abrams saying at the outset that the three-part series “was not what it claimed or promised to be.” In the segment, titled “CNN’s Holy war?”, Abrams also said “CNN should have called it what it was, a defense of Islamic fundamentalism and the worst type of moral relativism.”

According to Abrams, CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, “avoided getting bogged down in objectivity.” (See the full video clip below.)

Here is yet another example of the heavily Islamic character of jihadist appeals. Note the emphasis on the ideological aspect of the jihad, and the denial that the movement has any dependence upon charismatic personalities or even upon Al-Qaeda itself: the authors are confident that Muslims can become jihadists simply by studying the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Here’s some pure propaganda from al-Reuters in the Gaza Strip, starting with the headline, which avoids telling you how this “youth” was killed; if Israeli soldiers were to blame, even if the youth were armed to the teeth and bent on murder the headline would scream, “Israel Kills Teenage Palestinian!”

Instead we get:

Palestinian youth killed in protest at Gaza border.

GAZA (Reuters) – A teenage Palestinian protester was killed as tens of thousands of Gazans demonstrated in the southern part of the strip on Saturday against the closure of a border crossing with Egypt.

The demonstration lasted several hours and broke up after dark, local security officials said.

Hospital staff named the dead as 17-year-old Mohammed Qdaih who was accidentally hit by a bullet fired by Hamas Executive Force officers trying to keep the crowd under control.
