* His religion was not immediately known, but his name is Omesh Hiraman, 22, who had been carrying the weapon in a bag, according to a posting on the St. John’s University website.

NEW YORK — A St. John’s University student with a suspected history of mental problems was arrested on the Queens campus with a rifle and a Halloween style mask, possibly of President Bush, police said Wednesday.

Nobody was hurt but the campus went into lockdown in mid afternoon as students furiously sent text messages to each other and their parents about the gunman, law enforcement sources said.

And they’re already warming up the “mental problems” excuse.

Police were searching the student’s dormitory and investigating whether he might have stopped taking his medications, according to a law enforcement source. It’s believed the student, who is of Guyanese descent, was acting alone, despite early reports of a possible accomplice, sources said.

A Muslim man shot and killed several people at the El Al Airline ticket counter in LAX. A Muslim man cut the throat of a Greyhound busdriver and jerked the wheel, causing the bus to crash. An Egyptian pilot “put his trust in Allah” as he steered his jetliner into the ocean. A student drove his SUV through the UNC campus trying to run over as many pedestrians as possible. Two Muslim men drove around in a car outfitted with a trunk that allowed them to fire sniper shots from inside it. A Muslim man drove around the San Francisco area in his SUV trying to run over pedestrians. A teacher attacked guards at an Airforce base in Florida. And these are just the ones off the top of my head.

The imam Fawaz Damra of Cleveland, Ohio, was a master of deception, condemning terrorism while having ties to terror groups.

Now it appears that his successor, the Imam Ahmed Alzaree, is cut from the same cloth. Tom Blumer has the details, and the Investigative Project has analysis.

A very close friend of Yasser Arafat is reported to be seriously ill: Report: Arafat aide seriously ill.

A top advisor of former PA chairman Yasser Arafat is suffering from similar symptoms to those diagnosed in the deceased Palestinian leader before his death, a Palestinian Web site reported Wednesday.

Doctors at a London hospital treating Nabil Abu Rudeineh had to remove one of his kidneys and implant instead a kidney donated by his sister, the Web site said.

Rudeineh’s family told the PNN Web site that the former aide was recovering and would return to the territories in the near future.

Rudeineh has been feeling unwell for some time now and doctors told his family that the liver malfunction he suffered may have been caused by poisoning.

Italy: Muslims patrol streets following vandalism attacks

Padua, 26 Sept. (AKI) – Some members of the Muslim community in the town of Bagnoli, located 30 kilometres from the northeastern Italian city of Padua, have begun patrolling the streets near their mosque in the wake of a series of acts of vandalism, Italian daily La Repubblica reported Wednesday.

The attacks have often taken place following afternoon prayers, with the the faithful returning to their parked cars and finding the tires slashed.

Volunteers who have started the patrols are equipped with fluorescent safety vests and flashlights.

“Don’t call us vigilantes, we want to pray in peace, respecting Italian laws, without disturbing anyone” one of the volunteers, Mohammed el-Azouzi, was quoted as saying by Repubblica..

The attacks follow protests by representatives of anti-immigration parties in the area against the “spreading of Islamisation”

Remo Morello, a 70 year old Catholic priest whose church is only a few blocks from the Bagnoli mosque, has expressed his support for the Muslim community.

“Who could disturb a religious community which is praying and celebrating its holidays?” referring to the Muslim community’s celebration of the holy month of Ramadan

* Hmm, its actually more than a ‘religious community’- padre. More like a militant socio-political cult that wants you dead. History lessons missing? Mental blackout or memory lapse?

“Maybe they are the same people who do not participate in their [own] church’s celebrations”.

* Remo Morello never asked these peaceful people what kind of things they pray, like Qur’an:9:5 “Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.”

The swine are the Christians, by the way… obviously.

Would Morello change his mind if he knew that the Muslim Jesus (Isa) will one day return, break the crosses and kill the swine?
