Bishop backs mosque’s call to prayer

By Fran Bardsley

*

* The churches in Iraq are being firebombed in the name “of the most merciful, the most compassionate”… The Coptic Christians of Egypt are under siege and persistently attacked, their shops smashed up and their daughters kidnapped and forcibly married off to Muslims. Christians are driven out of Bethlehem and Nazareth, their ancestral homelands, Christian schoolchildren are being beheaded in Sulawesi and Cristian churches in Kenya have just been burned to the ground with their congregation inside.

That doesn’t prevent the deluded village idiot of Oxford, the Rev John Pritchard, to tell us that sheep and wolves can all live side by side, if only they would all eat grass.

Lets all sing ‘kumbayaaahhhh’….

Fuckwit alert:

THE BISHOP of Oxford has rejected another senior clergyman’s fears that piping out the call to prayer in East Oxford could create a “no-go area” for non-Muslims.

The Rt Rev John Pritchard backed plans for the call to prayer in Oxford – rejecting controversial comments made by the Anglican church’s only Asian bishop, the Rt Rev Dr Michael Nazir-Ali, of Rochester.

Bishop Michael had said that attempts were being made to impose an “Islamic character” on communities, creating “no-go areas” where people of different faiths would find it hard to live and work.

But Bishop John said: “I want to distance myself from what the Bishop of Rochester has said.

“I have been with the House of Bishops for the past three days and we agreed there are no no-go areas in this country that we are aware of, and that in all parts of the country there are good inter-faith relationships developing.”

In November, it emerged that leaders at Oxford’s Central Mosque, in Manzil Way, were considering asking for planning permission to issue the call to prayer from the mosque – and Bishop John said he was “very happy” with the move.

Bishop John added: “I would say to anyone who has concerns about the call to prayer to relax and enjoy our community diversity and be as respectful to others as you would hope they would be respectful to you.”

* Trouble is, they don’t respect you, Bishop. They want you dead or converted…

Bishop John said his role meant he acted as a community leader for all faiths, and believed he was respected as such by the Muslim community as by his own.

* This suicidal nutbag ‘of all faiths’ must be the mentor of Prince Charles, who is equally deluded…

Sardar Rana, a spokesman for Oxford Central Mosque, has also attacked Bishop Michael’s claims, and said the bishop should be more “broad-minded”.

* Lets take a look how “broad-minded” Muslims are, here…

The burning churches of Iraq…

He said: “It will not create a no-go area. We welcome every religion and we respect other people.

* No you don’t. You ‘welcome every religion’  only as long as its Islamic.

“I am 100 per cent sure people will like it when they hear the holy verses on the loudspeaker. We are not saying anything bad.”

* Liar!

Too small? Click here This is a satirical website. None of what you read here has anything to do with Islam, because Islam is a Religion of Peace. Everybody knows that good Muslims never do the things they do, (because Allah does it for them, Quran 8:12) and we know that only our misperceptions, ignorance and stereotyping of Islam makes Muslims chop off heads, kill and rape women and children, bomb subways, buses, nightclubs and fly jets into buildings. If it wasn't for the media and da Jooozzz, we wouldn't even know its happening. We welcome open, honest, thoughtful, and vigorous discussion in the comments threads, so do yourself a favour and don't accuse us of being 'haters' because we are loving, tolerant people. Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but  you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way... But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it.  If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted. Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth, (we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it! One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display. But you won't be back, trust me on that. Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

Oh I would LOVE to hear their voices over a loud speaker, you know the ones that preach about cutting off my friggin’ head!!! Why doesn’t this jackass just convert and shut the hell up then. Also, I THINK it was here (but I am probably wrong), I read something about the antiestablishment of the Church of England. Was that the correct way of explaining it? Someone mentioned about Prince Ears….errr, I mean Charles being the Defender of the Faith(S)…someone else said something about the Church of England no longer being so important. Well I read a resolution or some such was passed. Find find a link and post.

PS: Please excuse my American ignorance. lol

OK….I think I saw that at WeaselZippers, but since I am not to “blog savvy” I cannot find it again. Maybe someone else would like to?

The “backbenchers ” bill to dis establish the Church of England will probably not even get a reading in the Commons let alone get passed into law so we can all stop getting in a tizz over that one. However perhaps efforts could be made to discover the mps’ who have put it up for a reading.
As for the plonker in Oxford…..he is not alone in the heirarchy of the church and is one of the rteasons I do not attend anymore, preferring to be a Christian in my life and not their version of it.

As a Christian, this type of statement from the Bishop is difficult to take.
I understand fully why he would want there to be no ‘no-go areas’, and I also understand the Christian principals that he bases his other opinions on.

My concern is that he is falling into the ‘moral equivalency’ trap that the MSM has been ensnared by. Islam is dangerous to the human race, is satanic, and is in direct conflict to the Christian faith.

I wonder if the Bishop would feel safe walking through any of the places mentioned in the attached link:

I stil think the retiring Catholic priest in the Netherlands takes the cake with his statement that Christians should just pray to Allah and be done with it. Although this moron comes pretty close.

John – your post shows why you are a better christian than the good Bishop.

“But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.” (Luke 19:27)

The traitorous village idiot of Oxford, the Rev. John Pritchard, should count his blessings. If his congregation were muhammedans and he advocated the ringing of church bells in a muhammedan country, he would have been assassinated.

Bishop John said: “I want to distance myself from what the Bishop of Rochester has said…” To “distance” himself to Iran would be a fitting place.

This fool should spend a year in Tehran trying to do his job. I’d love to see what happens.

Atheist,

Selective quoting does you no favours. Jesus was using a parable, here it is in context.

11While they were listening to this, he went on to tell them a parable, because he was near Jerusalem and the people thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear at once. 12He said: “A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return. 13So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas.[a]‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.’
14″But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We don’t want this man to be our king.’

15″He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it.

16″The first one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more.’

17″ ‘Well done, my good servant!’ his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.’

18″The second came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned five more.’

19″His master answered, ‘You take charge of five cities.’

20″Then another servant came and said, ‘Sir, here is your mina; I have kept it laid away in a piece of cloth. 21I was afraid of you, because you are a hard man. You take out what you did not put in and reap what you did not sow.’

22″His master replied, ‘I will judge you by your own words, you wicked servant! You knew, did you, that I am a hard man, taking out what I did not put in, and reaping what I did not sow? 23Why then didn’t you put my money on deposit, so that when I came back, I could have collected it with interest?’

24″Then he said to those standing by, ‘Take his mina away from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.’

25″ ‘Sir,’ they said, ‘he already has ten!’

26″He replied, ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away. 27But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.”

So Atheist, what is your point?
