There's one in today's paper, of Abraham Ayei Mel being found guilty of raping a pregnant woman and threatening to cut out her unborn baby if she screamed, while holding a knife to her throat. Somehow, I suspect Abraham isn't Jewish, and likely to be another misunderstander. In fact, I suspect he is Sudanese - what a surprise. Savitch re rape case & Samir Abu.

The woman was raped in the back of a van while an accomplice kept a lookout. There was security camera footage of the 'wingman' standing watch on the footpath nearby while he assaulted the woman shown a few weeks back so I guess this is how they nabbed the rapist. I can't find any reference on the net to the case though. Anyway, the guy charged is named Samir Abu. You think he misunderstood his peaceful religion and culture?
