Well plitzskin! Here is what I think is true - it may very well be that some Muslims are not liars, however, it is also true that the Mighty Koran greatly approves of lying to people - even if those people are just interested in getting some stright information about your powerful religion, and if they lie for the faith in any way what so ever, it is counted as a very holy thing to do, greatly augmenting their chances of getting 72 whorii’s which they can mount and make bleed at will in your “heaven”. So, how do we know if or if not you are now lying? Suppose you say to me, “I am now telling you the truth and risking my chance to getting to mount the 72 and make them bleed 72 times in every 24 hour period!” Should I believe you? Would you believe you if you were in my shoes? You tell me plitzskin! I’m listening…

I am a muslim and i do not condone the things that are being done in the video… There are many young men/women who have been influenced by so called holy leaders(imaams) who encourage them to engaged ‘jihad’ on others, even though they are innocent… These are acts of terrorism which are unwritten in the Quran but taken out of context, and not to be taken as ‘Acts in the name of Allah’… But i do not believe that drawing a cartoon of our prophet nor condemning islam is the way to go, in fact it will only serve as a platform for these ‘imaams’ to have a greater influence…

Midwestlady, hopefully you understand that you are threading a fine line between ’stupidity’ and ‘crossing the line’ for a muslim… I, for one, certainly loathe at your comment to ‘eat a pig’… Hope you get your just rewards in the afterlife…

I just watched the video. I have a question. How is the movie anti-Islam. Were the verses from the Quran not taken from the Quran? Where the videos of muslims beheading people fake. Was the gay men hanging video faked? Were the audio sound bites of muslim clerics calling for me to be murdered faked? Did the mothers of those muslim children not coat their children’s faces with blood? Was that not an oppressed muslim woman, forced to wear a heavy, uncomfortable burka, on her knees being shot in the back of the head? Did I not see a man falling over 1000 feet to his death from one of the twin towers? Was that not a jetliner full of mommies and daddies and babies being flown into a skyscraper in the name of allah? If the truth is ugly and makes you feel uncomfortable it does not make the truth any less the truth.

Its really hard living together peacefully as ‘human race’. i don’t think (through out history) that such situation had ever existed. I’m a Muslim and am a true believer in the religion, i just wish ’something good’ will come from this all chaos (which would be a ‘miracle’ if such thing can happen) neo-con, social extremest, religious extremest, neo-Darwinism, they are all the same. They all have their own agenda. I hope Geert Wilders and also the rest of the muslim world that will be acting ‘very extreme’ by his film will get ‘hidayah’… (trully speaking I’m sick and tired of this all…)

Freedom of speech applies to the Imams who say to kill all non-Muslims and freedom of speech also applies to Mr. Wilders. If Muslims or anyone else wants to end freedom of speech, they also have to end their own. I acknowledge Muslims’ right to rant death threats at non-Muslims, just as I acknowledge the right of a non-Muslim to draw cartoons of Muhammed.

Rob, I think you nailed it. It’s time for the peaceful moderate Muslims to rise up in huge numbers in protest of the Muslim extremists and stop the “honor” killing, stoning to death, covering, and genital mutilation of women, and the attacks on anyone who dares to say anything about the “religion of peace.”

You live in the 21st Century, not in the Stone Age.
In general Western Nations publish cartoons about Christ and the Bible all the time. We Christians take this in stride. We may not like it, but they have a right too. We don’t get all bend out of shape and get violent.

I’m from Portugal and I think the city council shouldn’t use the TAX PAYER’S MONEY to issue a leaflet against a political opponent. That’s ETHICALLY very WRONG!

Sometimes I think Europe is bending backwards. We also have our culture. “In Rome, be Roman”.
