A KRuddish quest for true blue Muslims

KRuddish image improvement for Muslims?

Hat tip Mullah

* Some of us are still looking for that mystical ‘moderate’ Muslim, while the KRudd government, in typical progressive fashion, storms ahead as the trail blazer of multiculti-diversity engineering:

SPORTING figures, academics and mainstream Muslims will be sought out by the Rudd Government to help recast the overly religious image of Islamic Australia.

A new-look Muslim advisory body is being considered in a bid to help dismantle the stereotypical picture of Islam, despite infighting – fuelled by ideological rivalries and conflicting egos – racking the former government’s board.

And the Rudd Government will also consider reviving the Council for Multicultural Australia - featuring leaders from a cross-section of ethnic backgrounds, including the Jewish and Muslim communities.

* Damn! The Howard government had a least enough sense to move away from that multiculti crap. Now KRudd wants to bring it back…

The previous government abolished the trouble-plagued Muslim advisory board – set up by John Howard after the London terrorist attacks in 2005 – and the multicultural council after their terms ended in 2006.

But Labor is intent on recasting the two bodies, shifting the focus from the spiritual leaders the Howard government courted – at times with disastrous results – to everyday Muslims.

In the Rudd Government’s first statement on Muslims, Parliamentary Secretary for Multicultural Affairs Laurie Ferguson told The Australian yesterday it was time to tackle the myths surrounding Islam, arguing religious leaders were not representative of the mainstream Muslim community.

“We can’t prescribe how the Islamic community is to organise itself,” Mr Ferguson said. “But we certainly must make sure that the fact there are international tensions and terrorist issues doesn’t kind of stereotype the whole community in Australia.

“A lot of it is about symbolism; it’s about who gets promoted and who gets identified and who gets an option to be seen by Australian society.

“Australia has produced (Muslim) academics, business types, sporting types and it’s often not celebrated enough.”

* Right. What are we doing about the Buddhists, the Hindu’s, the Christians and the Jews then, Laurie? Don’t you think we should start celebrating their achievements before you start throwing more money at the least deserving fringe of society?

Too small? Click here This is a satirical website. None of what you read here has anything to do with Islam, because Islam is a Religion of Peace. Everybody knows that good Muslims never do the things they do, (because Allah does it for them, Quran 8:12) and we know that only our misperceptions, ignorance and stereotyping of Islam makes Muslims chop off heads, kill and rape women and children, bomb subways, buses, nightclubs and fly jets into buildings. If it wasn't for the media and da Jooozzz, we wouldn't even know its happening. We welcome open, honest, thoughtful, and vigorous discussion in the comments threads, so do yourself a favour and don't accuse us of being 'haters' because we are loving, tolerant people. Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but  you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way... But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it.  If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted. Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth, (we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it! One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display. But you won't be back, trust me on that. Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

I think Krudd is excelling at dividing the community.
The big ‘sorry’ thing will lead to division as soon as the court cases begin.

Multicuti leads to division and ghettos, and why do we need a muslim religious advisory board?
No one else has an equivalent.

Multi-culti doesn’t work.

MultiCULTuralism brings about nothing but confusion. And where there’s confusion, those who know who they are (like Koranists) will take advantage and end up being on top. Do we really want to be run by Islamania? Perhaps this question can be posed to our “leaders” but they are so dense that they just won’t get it. That’s why they continue to peddle failed ideas like this one.

What theological training does this person have exactly?

Joe Grey March 11, 2008 at 12:20 am

I’d expect a PhD from anyone who’s apologizing for a religion to an entire country.

Multiculturalism. Only stupid western infidels would even dream such an offensive concept. Do you think there are governments in asia, africa or the middle east that have departments for multiculturalism? No fkuing way! We’ve created the greatest societies and cultures in history, so why the hell are we selling ourselves out? Fcuking Tariq Ramadan ass-kissing Ferguson.

“Parliamentary Secretary for Multicultural Affairs, Laurie Ferguson told The Australian yesterday it was time to tackle the myths surrounding Islam.”

And which ‘MYTHS’ would they be, Mr Ferguson?

Please explain!

Oh…. unless it was a printing error by The Australian and Fergie said ‘truths’ not ‘myths.’
