…and If Israel says yes, it will pay a heavy price:

“We want a hudna, and we want it now… or we will set 200.000 suicide bombers upon you…”

From JP

Israel may have 200 nuclear warheads, but Hamas has 200,000 people who want to blow themselves up inside Israel, Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar said Tuesday.

Zahar, who was speaking to supporters at the Islamic University in Gaza City, said Israel would pay a heavy price if it rejected the Egyptian initiative for truce with the Palestinians.

“If Israel says no, it will pay a heavy price,” he said. “We are a besieged people and we will have to use all our tools to defend ourselves against Israel.”

* Actually NOT. Its Israel that’s besieged by about 300 million genocidal Arab zombies  who occupy 99 % of the land in the ME…

Zahar said he expected Egyptian Intelligence Chief Omar Suleiman to brief Israeli leaders next week on Cairo’s efforts to achieve a truce.

He said that once Israel accepted the Egyptian initiative, all the border crossings into the Gaza Strip would be reopened. “The issue of the truce initiative will be determined finally next week,” he added. “I believe Israel will accept the initiative, although it will try to drag its feet on some issues.”

The Hamas leader pointed out that his movement had accepted a cease-fire with Israel in 2005. “Hamas benefited from that truce and no one can deny this,” he said. “Even those who opposed the previous truce have admitted that it was useful.”

Zahar criticized Palestinian factions that were opposed to the latest Egyptian initiative, saying some of them had received $1.5 million from Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to boycott a Hamas rally against the US-sponsored peace conference in Annapolis last December.

Zahar said that Hamas would not agree to the presence of EU monitors at the Rafah border crossing, as was the case before June 2007, when Hamas took full control over the entire Gaza Strip. In the past, Hamas said it would agree to the return of the monitors on condition that they lived in the Gaza Strip or Egypt and not in Israel.

Zahar’s remarks came as representatives of several Palestinian groups began talks in Cairo over the truce proposal.

The Egyptians summoned the representatives in a bid to persuade them to accept the initiative. Among the groups that are participating in the discussions are Islamic Jihad, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

An Egyptian diplomat told The Jerusalem Post that all the groups have agreed in principle to the truce. He said that Cairo was optimistic regarding the prospects of achieving a deal as early as next week, especially since Hamas has already agreed to the truce.

The diplomat confirmed that Omar Suleiman was planning to visit Israel next week for talks with Israeli government officials on the outcome of his discussions with the Palestinian groups. “We are very close to achieving an agreement,” the diplomat said. “We believe all the parties are interested in a lengthy period of calm.”

Hamas legislator Mushir al-Masri said Tuesday that a truce with Israel would not be possible unless all the Palestinian groups agreed to it.

“We won’t go to a hudna [temporary truce] unless there is a consensus among the Palestinians about it,” he said. “We are aware that some groups are opposed to a truce, but don’t believe that the major factions would reject a mutual and comprehensive truce that would end the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.”

India: ‘Right of Return’ for Kashmiri Hindus?

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

* Hardly. The Islamic doctrine forbids it: any land, once it has been conquered by the soldiers of Allah,  must never be allowed to fall back under the rule of the kuffar. There are many verses in the Koran and the hadith to show you how its done:

300pope_kashmir-ap416.jpeg

Ishaq:588 “When the Apostle descends on your land none of your people will be left when he leaves.”

Bukhari:V5 B59 N512 “The Prophet had their men killed, their children and woman taken captive.”

Qur’an 8:12 “I shall terrorize the infidels. So wound their bodies and incapacitate them because they oppose Allah and His Apostle.”

Ishaq:327    “Allah said, ‘A prophet must slaughter before collecting captives. A slaughtered enemy is driven from the land. Muhammad, you craved the desires of this world, its goods and the ransom captives would bring. But Allah desires killing them to manifest the religion.’”

India wants return of displaced Kashmiri Hindus

 By Sheikh Mushtaq

SRINAGAR, India, April 29 (Reuters) - They left their ancestral homes in droves 19 years ago when a bloody rebellion broke out against New Delhi’s rule in Kashmir.

* They didn’t just leave. And a ‘rebellion’ against New Dehli’s rule in Kashmir’ didn’t just brake out’- it was a classic jihad against the Hindus.

Now, encouraged by a thaw in relations between India and Pakistan, authorities in the disputed Himalayan region are making plans to help thousands of Kashmiri Hindus, or Pandits, return home.

“Kashmiri Pandit migrant families who had to sell their property in distress and were desirous to return to the Valley would be given assistance of 750,000 rupees ($18,600),” Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh announced during his weekend visit to the troubled region.

Many Hindus who fled Kashmir have sold their homes, officials say.

Singh asked the Kashmir government to identify land to set up community housing projects and offered to provide jobs to 6,000 Kashmiri migrant Hindu youth.

“The package was decided on the principle that everyone had the right to resettle with peace and dignity on the land of his forefathers,” Singh added.

Authorities say the situation in Muslim-majority Kashmir has improved as violence had declined after India and Pakistan launched a peace process in 2004.

While some Kashmiri Hindus have made their way to Delhi and other parts of the country, thousands of Pandit migrants live in the state’s winter capital, Jammu.

“I always wanted to return and here is an opportunity. Going back home will obviously be the last wish of even a dying Kashmiri Pandit,” said Bushan Lal Bhat, 62, a retired government employee.

“In this terrible heat I always miss the cool breeze of my Kashmir,” he said in Jammu.

“A DISTANT DREAM”

Some Pandit groups are demanding a separate, guarded homeland within the Kashmir Valley, while others complained that Singh was not meeting their security concerns.

“The central leadership appears to be oblivious of the ground realities in Kashmir,” says Nana Ji Koul, a shop worker. “The situation for our return is still a distant dream.”

The name “Pandit”, from Sanskrit, means learned person. The Pandits’ roots in the Himalayan region go back about 5,000 years. India’s first prime minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, came from Pandit stock, considered the learned elite of the Valley.

From the 13th century, when Islam became a majority religion in Kashmir, until 1989, Muslims lived side-by-side with Pandits.

* Typical Islamo-BS: The Hindus survived the rule of their Muslim oppressors. The Muslims failed to kill or forcibly convert them all.

But nearly 250,000 Kashmiri Pandits left for safer places in India because of a sharp rise in killings of Hindus and attacks on their homes at the start of a rebellion by Muslim militants in 1989.
* Jihad is not simply a ‘rebellion’- its the essence of Muhammedanism…
It was the largest migration since the 1947 partition of the subcontinent into mainly Hindu India and Islamic Pakistan.

Kashmiri separatists have repeatedly urged Hindus to return to Kashmir where more than 43,000 people have died in the revolt, but have urged them to live side by side with Muslims rather than in “security zones”.

* Why would you be living next to a Muslim when you know he will cut your throat when the imam calls for jihad from the mosque?

Though the government has been urging them to return for years, the Pandits have been deterred by a series of attacks by suspected militants fighting New Delhi’s rule in Kashmir.

In one of the bigger and more brutal attacks, guerrillas shot dead 24 Pandits, including 11 women and two children, in southern Kashmir in 2003, provoking outrage across India.

Many Pandits are sceptical about their return to a valley which was their homeland for centuries.

“Memories are still fresh … my father was in a pool of blood when terrorists fired at him. I was helplessly watching,” said Anju Koul who lives with her family in the Hindu-dominated area of Jammu. “No, I don’t want to return.”

*    “The idea of war under Islam is at the root of our belief”

“The media and the (Pakistani) parliament should know that there are 77 commands related to jihad in the Quran. They should follow these and fulfil their religious duty,”

This illegal, apartheid wall must be taken down!

*  Ever wondered why the UN and all these countless human rights groups, collectively known as so-called international community, are silent about this. Isn’t that what they usually refer to as blockade, siege and apartheid?

Pali supporters in the US often make two claims:

a. There were originally 800,000 Palestinians in 1948, but now the “Right of Return” belongs to ALL their descendents, which now number six million.

b. The Israelis are committing genocide against the Palestinians.

An increasing population from 800,000 > 6,000,000 = genocide?

That’s one hell of a genocide — octupling your victims’ population!

*

Just in from a friend of Israel:

I’ve always found it interesting that of ALL the ‘refuges’ on this planet, the palis are the only ones who command a U.N. department all their own.

I also have always found it interesting that while there are in fact pali ‘refuge’ camps located in Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and Jordan those countries NEVER assimilated these people. NEVER. Not since 1948 when these countries were responsible for starting the war and CREATING these refugees by refusing to accept the U.N. partition plan and then attacking the newly created nation of Israel.

As a side note: Israel did in fact assimilate refugees after the war.

In the meantime, the west via the U.N. continues to pay for these so called refugees who are in reality nothing more then pawns in a VERY heartless game that has been played by the arab countries since their defeat.

If the palis could ever get their heads out of their collective asses they’d finally see that their #1 enemy is NOT Israel, is NOT the Jews but their own fellow Arabs who have played them for dupes this entire time.

Spencer: Jihad is over, if you want it!

nojihadis_hh_1.jpg

*  Robert Spencers latest take on the fantasy-based policy making of the state department:

Break out the flowers and tie-dye t-shirts: the jihad is over — if you want it. Or at least, if you’re listening to the Bush Administration.

Last week the State Department, the Department of Homeland Security and the National Counter Terrorism Center issued new guidelines forbidding personnel from using the words “jihad” or “jihadist” in reference to Islamic terrorism and its perpetrators.

A Homeland Security report tellingly entitled “Terminology to Define the Terrorists: Recommendations from American Muslims” explains that this initiative comes from a concern not to offend moderate Muslims. By calling the terrorists “jihadists,” American officials could be “unintentionally portraying terrorists, who lack moral and religious legitimacy, as brave fighters, legitimate soldiers or spokesmen for ordinary Muslims.”

* Policy like this must be cooked by the likes of Hesham Islam & Gordon England

Using the term “jihad” may not be “strategic.” Why not? “Because it glamorizes terrorism, imbues terrorists with religious authority they do not have and damages relations with Muslims around the world.” American officials “should not concede the terrorists’ claim that they are legitimate adherents of Islam.”

As long as Condi plays the fiddle there will be no more jihad!

Peanut Khadr blames Israel for denying Gazans food, water; Israel rejected Hamas truce offer

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

*  WASHINGTON – Blaming Israel, again: Former US President Jimmy Carter says that following his meetings with Hamas leaders the group offered a truce in Gaza but Israel rejected the offer. During an interview with NBC, Carter also blamed Israel for denying the citizens of Gaza basic supplies such as water and food.

khadr.jpg

Totally deluded:  useful tool Khadr

“I think it was productive, because all the things that we asked Hamas to do, they basically agreed to do,” Carter said, referring to his recent trip. “One was to have a total ceasefire just in Gaza alone, where before they had said it must be Gaza and the West Bank as well. So they preferred to have a ceasefire, and announced it publicly after we left. Israel unfortunately rejected the ceasefire from Hamas.

“There’s no way to have peace in the Middle East without bringing the Palestinians back together if Hamas represents at least half of the Palestinian people,” Carter added, citing the 2006 elections the United States insisted be held. “Hamas won the election fair and square. They got a majority of seats in the Parliament.”

“But then the United States and Israel declared that there wouldn’t be a Palestinian united government, so they declared that Hamas was a terrorist organization. They refused to negotiate with them. They refused to give food and water and electricity and other supplies to people under Hamas’ leadership in Gaza, and that broke the whole situation down,” he said.

‘Assad hopeful’

Carter also criticized the US, which he said was preventing the renewal of the peace process between Israel and Syria. Carter said he met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the latter told him that he had been distanced from peace talks by the US Government, but was now hopeful talks would be resumed.

* Flying pig alert:

In an article published by the New York Times, Carter said that Hamas would accept any truce agreed upon by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, on the condition that it had been approved by the elected parliament. Carter also said Hamas would disarm its military wing in Gaza if a non-political security force was established in the Strip.

Referring to kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, Carter said that if Israel were to agree to the list of prisoners that the Palestinians demanded be released, and freed the first batch, Shalit would be transferred to Egypt until the other prisoners were released.

Italians more wary of Muslim immigrants-new study

piedocul-2.gif

By Philip Pullella

ROME, April 29 (Reuters) - As a new centre-right government that has vowed to be tougher on immigration prepares to take office, a new study on Tuesday showed that most Italians have negative views about having immigrants from Muslim countries.

According to the study carried out by the Makno research organisation, and commissioned by the interior ministry, 55.3 percent of those asked said immigration from Islamic countries was more problematic than that from other, Christian, countries.

Only 39.7 percent said Muslims should be allowed to practice their religion and build mosques unconditionally.

Nearly 10 percent were firmly against allowing Muslim religious practices or mosques and the rest posed various conditions, such as reciprocity for Christians in Islamic countries to practice their religion.

On the Islamic side, nearly 40 percent of Muslim immigrants said they found it difficult to respect their religious traditions in Italy while 30.2 percent feared they would lose their culture.

Italy, a predominantly Catholic country which once sent millions of immigrants to the world, is still grappling with how it should integrate immigrants of different cultures, languages and religions.

*  What a typical Reuters BS line!
More than 17 percent in survey feared terrorist attacks, nearly 25 percent said they believed Muslims were critical of Italians and their culture and 28.2 percent said Muslims were intolerant of Catholicism.

Various parties in the coalition of prime minister-elect Silvio Berlusconi, who is expected to form his government by next week, have vowed to crack down on immigrants.

* Muslim immigrants, that is. Those who create more problems than others. Like these:

*   In France, Prisons Filled With Muslims

Umberto Bossi, the firebrand leader of the anti-immigrant Northern League, took a surprising 8 percent in this month’s national elections and is expected to get several cabinet posts, perhaps including the interior ministry.

One League member, Roberto Calderoli, outraged Muslims with past antics such as wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with Danish cartoons showing the Prophet Mohammad.

Renato Schifani, a member of Berlusconi’s Forza Italia party, said minutes after he was elected Senate speaker on Tuesday that among Italy’s pressing priorities was to promote only “healthy and regular immigration” and to defend Italy’s “Christian roots”.

According to official figures, there are more than a million Muslim immigrants in Italy but aid groups say the figure is higher.

The attitude of non-Islamic immigrants in Italy, most of them Christians, was just as critical towards Muslims or in some cases even more so than that of Italians.

Indonesian Women Lobby For Polygamy Ban

Monday, April 28th, 2008

 * “Wollt ihr den totalen Islam?”

Indonesian women are calling on the Government to abolish polygamy.

* Fat chance.  What’s written in the Koran is written in stone: Koran 4:3 “Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four;”

 By Radio Australia’s Christine Webster

A  coalition of Indonesian women’s groups is calling on the Government to change the nation’s marriage laws and abolish polygamy.

Under Indonesia’s marital laws, a Muslim man can have more than one wife if permission is granted by a local court and the wife gives her consent.

The religious adviser for the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils, Imam Amin Hady, believes the marriage laws which permit polygamy cannot be abolished as they form part of the Koran.

But he has told Radio Australia’s Connect Asia program that Indonesia’s religious affairs and justice departments work together to ensure people do not abuse their polygamy rights.

“The scholars in Islam say, the general ruling is that man can only marry then one woman,” he said.

“There is an exception where a man can marry more than one woman, with certain conditions, one, two, three, four, and this ruling can be very strict.”

Permission for having more than one wife is only granted if the man’s first wife cannot fulfil her obligations, is disabled, ill, or cannot have children.

Public flogging of females in Indonesia/Aceh

But Indonesia’s Rahima Centre for Education and Information on Women’s Rights says many men are providing false information in order to gain permission.

Herb Feith Research professor from Monash University, Dr Greg Barton, says it is understandable women are concerned some men in Indonesia are abusing their right to have a second wife.

“I think most people who look at these things would say it’s scarcely ever a good thing, it’s generally a bad thing and it’s best if it’s discouraged,” he said.

“The question of policy comes back to how best you change practices, so certainly revising laws has got to be part of it, but you’ve got to change attitudes.”

Civil servants in Indonesia are not allowed to practice polygamy and when the Indonesian Government in 2006 proposed to extend this restriction to all public servants, it lead to protests among the country’s Muslim parties.

Women’s groups say they will continue to lobby the Government to change its marriage laws, but acknowledge it will take some time before anything is done, as it is not a priority for legislators.

* Some can’t put up with it:

“I know I have done wrong by marrying many wives and begetting many children but I think I deserve help from the government”

A glimpse into the future — and, in many areas, the present reality — of Europe: polygamists living off the government dole, so that the demographic jihad proceeds at the expense of the government the jihadists hope to topple, and the taxpayers they hope to subjugate.

“‘Polygamy doesn’t work’ says father of 77,”

by Aislinn Simpson for the Telegraph

* An Ethiopian man who has 77 children by 11 wives has urged others not to get married and has taken to dispensing advice on family planning to his neighbours.

Ayattu Nure, 56, says he used to be a wealthy man and married out of a desire to share his money around but claims he is now peniless because of the competing demands of his brood.

“I want my children to be farmers but I have no land, I want them to go to school but I have no money,” he says.

*  So is he taking responsibility? In your dreams.

He blames Ethiopia’s government for failing to support him and his children.

The local authority of the school which 40 of his children attend is requesting photographs of each one for their files but Mr Attayu says he has not got the money.

“I know I have done wrong by marrying many wives and begetting many children but I think I deserve help from the government.”

Unfortunately, even his own son has ignored his warnings about the pitfalls of polygamy.

Unemployed Dagne Ayattu, who at 33 is the oldest of his sons, has seven children and is about to marry his fourth wife.

*  He shouldn’t worry. It’s all the fault of “The West”, especially Israel, and we should send aid right away.

“Half of Islamic countries impoverished”

Monday, April 28th, 2008

*  The Islamaniacs lie when they open their mouths:

Apart from the oilslick Arab states and Brunei, where Western governments find, drill, refine and transport the oil only to shower greedy, primitive tribes with trillions of dollars in undeserved wealth, just about all Islamic countries are filthy and poor because of…Islam!

* What’s worth more: the female or the goat?

KUWAIT, April 28 (KUNA)
— Although Islamic countries have a lot of resources, half of them are considered impoverished, Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Chairman Ali Al-Ghanim said Monday.

Speaking at the Meeting of Chairmen and Presidents of Islamic Chamber of Commerce with Business Leaders, held under the auspices of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Al-Ghanim said that the number of Muslims was over 1.3 billion, 22 percent of the world’s population.
Islamic countries have about 60 percent of the world’s oil reserves and and contribute more than 40 percent of the world’s exports, he added.
However, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of those countries accounted for only five percent of the wrold’s total GDP, he pointed out.
Al-Ghanim said that Muslim countries faced many challenges that could not be faced by governments alone, but required cooperation and the unity of efforts.
The WEIF will be inaugurated Tuesday by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
