Jeremiah Wright: “God damn America”, Asshole of the Month

 * The ‘former’ Muslim invokes Jesus to spew hatred:

Wright at the National Press Club: The “black church” is under “attack;” “I am open to being vice president;” defends his AIDS conspiracy-theorizing, “God damns,” “Louis Farrakhan is not my enemy;” don’t be dissin’ my mama or my faith…

*  Rev. Wright, (no longer Barrack Hussein’s ’spiritual advisor’)  gave a very defiant speech to the National Press Club this morning and claimed, among other things, “This is an attack on the black church.” He seemed to be quite fired up by that wildly enthusiastic reception he got from the NAACP.

*  And he’s (still) being accompanied by bodyguards from the Nation of Islam.

* And here’s Jeremiah Wright’s ’spiritual advisor’ Louis Farraklan:

Ahmadiyya Mia! Indonesia Muslims Torch Ahmadi Sect Mosque, shouting “kill, kill, kill”

Monday, April 28th, 2008

* The heavily proselytizing Ahmadiyya sect is seen as heretic since they don’t subscribe to violent jihad.

ber-template.jpg

Berlin Ahmadiyya Mosque

* Or so they say…at least their preposterous slogan “Love for All, Hatred for None” seems to work in their favor. But unfortunately for them, there is no LOVE in the Koran.

Hugh Fitzgerald:

In Pakistan the Ahmadis are forced on all official documents to identify themselves as non-Muslims.

In sub-Saharan Africa, Ahmadiyya members have been successful proselytizers. Their slightly more relaxed brand, or version, of Islam possibly holds greater initial appeal for some non-Muslims. However, once those conversions have been made, the Saudis come in, with their money, for grander mosques, and the ability to pay imams large sums, and begin to take over the territory that the Ahmadis had, in a sense, first explored and “cleared” for Islam.

by Niniek Karmini for Associated Press

Hundreds of protesters chanting “Kill, kill” set fire Monday to an Indonesian mosque belonging to a Muslim sect they claim is heretical, police said.
A policeman was wounded in the head when the crowd stoned the mosque in West Java province before setting it ablaze, said police spokesman Col. Dade Ahmad. Several suspects were taken in for questioning.

The attack was the latest targeting the Ahmadiyah sect in Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim nation.

Most mainstream Muslims consider Ahmadiyah heretical because it does not consider Muhammad to be the final prophet. The sect was founded at the end of the 19th century in Pakistan.

Last week, a team of prosecutors, religious scholars and government officials said the sect “had deviated from Islamic principles” and recommended it be outlawed. There have been several acts of vandalism targeting Ahmadiyah since then.

About 300 people torched the mosque and destroyed an Islamic school building inside the Ahmadiyah compound in Sukabumi town just after midnight. Many sect members have since fled the area, seeking refuge with friends and relatives.

“We heard the attackers chanting ‘Burn, burn’ and ‘Kill, kill,’” said Zaki Firdaus, one of the sect’s members. “It was horrifying.”..

* Muhammedan grievance theater ten-thousand miles away from the Middle East:

By Muhammad Ismail Yusanto, Jakarta

With regard to the accusation of instigating hatred, one must see the object of the hatred itself. As a political party, HT has vehemently opposed Israeli occupation in Palestine and the American brutal invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. One must ask again, is it wrong to hate those clear oppressions?

Prijosusilo seemed oblivious to the reason why HT has expressed certain opinions, conveniently accusing HT of merely spreading wholesale hatred against America and its western allies. Prijosusilo must know that HT has maintained consistent opposition against capitalism.

Furthermore, hatred against American capitalist policies has become commonplace in different parts of the world as shown by massive demonstrations against capitalism and the “war on terror”.

One must also be clear that HT resisted the formation of the Israeli state at the expense of the Palestinian people. Furthermore, Islam has never been interested in purging Palestine from its Jewish or Christian inhabitants. Therefore, anti-Semitic accusation is misplaced, since the Islamic mission is ultimately providing justice to humanity.

ESCAPE FROM A BROOKLYN MOSQUE

Not only in Londonistan and all over Europe, Muhammedanism is establishing No Go Zones all over the US of A:

bos_mosque_masid_al_taqwa.jpg

Bos Smith in front of Masjid At-Taqwa

Don’t snap a photo of the Masjid At-Taqwa in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn unless you want to be hauled away by a group of angry Muslims in Islamic attire to the basement of the facility where a group of twenty “security guards” in karate suits will interrogate you.

This might sound preposterous.

But it happened on Saturday, April 24, at 3:00 in the afternoon.

Ali Kareem, the head of security for Siraj Wahaj’s mosque, conducted the grilling. A small, muscular man with a wispy black beard that has been dyed red with henna, Kareem demanded to know the reason why a trio of kafirs had dared to photograph the building on a public street without securing his permission.

UK: Police tells Muslim convert to Christianity ““stop being a crusader”

Monday, April 28th, 2008

A British citizen who converted to Christianity from Islam and then complained to police when locals threatened to burn his house down was told by officers to “stop being a crusader”, according to a new report.

crusaders.jpg

* Right. What could be worse than being a ‘crusader?’

Nissar Hussein, 43, from Bradford, West Yorkshire, who was born and raised in Britain, converted from Islam to Christianity with his wife, Qubra, in 1996. The report says that he was subjected to a number of attacks and, after being told that his house would be burnt down if he did not repent and return to Islam, reported the threat to the police. It says he was told that such threats were rarely carried out and the police officer told him to “stop being a crusader and move to another place”. A few days later the unoccupied house next door was set on fire.

Christian Solidarity Worldwide, a British human rights organisation whose president is the former Cabinet minister Jonathan Aitken, is calling on the UN and the international community to take action against nations and communities that punish apostasy.

Its report, No Place to Call Home, claims that apostates from Islam are subject to “gross and wideranging human rights abuses”. It adds that in countries such as Britain, with large Muslim populations in a Westernised culture, the demand to maintain a Muslim identity is intense. “When identities are precarious, their enforcement will take an aggressive form.”

Comment by Jaspal Singh Dhillon, Southall, UK

“action against nations and communities that punish apostasy.”

Which nations and communities would these be then ?
This is the result of Political Correctness, a fear of enforcing British Law and Article 18 of the UN Convention on Human Rights (Freedom of Belief) because it would upset the Moslems

Egyptian Spring Festival Announcement Enrages Copts

coptbeaten.jpg

* How Christian Copts are treated in Egypt

An announcement of “The Early Spring Festival in Egypt,” signed by the late sheikh ‘Atiya Sakr, a former head of the Al-Azhar University Fatwa Committee, has enraged Copts.

The announcement, which was circulated in Egypt, stated that the early spring holiday was connected to the Christians and the Jews, and that Muslims were forbidden from participating in infidel holidays and from sharing in the joy.

Coptic Church Holy Synod secretary and Damietta Archbishop Anba Beshawi said that the announcement was aimed at sparking conflict between Muslims and Copts, and that the early spring festival was Pharaonic, not Christian.

Creeping Sharia

BRUCE BAWER

An Anatomy of Surrender

Motivated by fear and multiculturalism, too many Westerners are acquiescing to creeping sharia.

18_2-bb.jpg

*  One example of Western self-censorship: Belgian officials prohibited Shark, by David Cerny, depicting Saddam Hussein as an aquatic predator.

Islam divides the world into two parts. The part governed by sharia, or Islamic law, is called the Dar al-Islam, or House of Submission. Everything else is the Dar al-Harb, or House of War, so called because it will take war—holy war, jihad—to bring it into the House of Submission. Over the centuries, this jihad has taken a variety of forms. Two centuries ago, for instance, Muslim pirates from North Africa captured ships and enslaved their crews, leading the U.S. to fight the Barbary Wars of 1801–05 and 1815. In recent decades, the jihadists’ weapon of choice has usually been the terrorist’s bomb; the use of planes as missiles on 9/11 was a variant of this method.

What has not been widely recognized is that the Ayatollah Khomeini’s 1989 fatwa against Satanic Verses author Salman Rushdie introduced a new kind of jihad. Instead of assaulting Western ships or buildings, Kho meini took aim at a fundamental Western freedom: freedom of speech. In recent years, other Islamists have joined this crusade, seeking to undermine Western societies’ basic liberties and extend sharia within those societies.

The cultural jihadists have enjoyed disturbing success. Two events in particular—the 2004 assassination in Amsterdam of Theo van Gogh in retaliation for his film about Islam’s oppression of women, and the global wave of riots, murders, and vandalism that followed a Danish newspaper’s 2005 publication of cartoons satirizing Mohammed—have had a massive ripple effect throughout the West. Motivated variously, and doubtless sometimes simultaneously, by fear, misguided sympathy, and multicultural ideology—which teaches us to belittle our freedoms and to genuflect to non-Western cultures, however repressive—people at every level of Western society, but especially elites, have allowed concerns about what fundamentalist Muslims will feel, think, or do to influence their actions and expressions. These Westerners have begun, in other words, to internalize the strictures of sharia, and thus implicitly to accept the deferential status of dhimmis—infidels living in Muslim societies.

hera21.jpg

 Another example of voluntary Dhimmitude:

THE HAGUE,  - The controversial Mohammed-exhibition of work by Iranian artist Sooreh Hera remains hidden from the public. For the third time in succession, an exhibitor willing to show her work has reversed this decision.

Hera took photos of homosexuals wearing masks of the prophet Mohammed and his son-in-law Ali. The work was first going to be exhibited by the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague, but the museum changed its mind because it “did not wish to become part of a political debate,” as Director Wim van Krimpen put it.

Call it a cultural surrender. The House of War is slowly—or not so slowly, in Europe’s case—being absorbed into the House of Submission.

Griffith update: Hand back Saudi cash, uni urged

Sunday, April 27th, 2008

 Richard Kerbaj/The Australian

MUSLIM community leaders have urged Griffith University to return a $100,000 grant from the Saudi Arabian embassy as prominent academics attacked vice-chancellor Ian O’Connor for his confusion over the Islamic ideology embraced by Osama bin Laden.

kisssaudiass.jpg

* How does mainstream Islam differ from the Islam of OBL & Al Zawahiri? Do they read a different Koran?

Professor O’Connor was yesterday also attacked by fellow academics for partly plagiarising his written defence of the Saudi grant from online encyclopedia Wikipedia - as revealed by The Weekend Australian - and accused of being out of his depth on Islamic issues.

The anger in Muslim and academic circles follows revelations by The Australian that the Queensland university asked the Saudis for a $1.37 million grant, of which it received $100,000, and offered to keep elements of the funding deal secret.

snap_aziza.jpg

The nation’s most senior female Muslim leader, Aziza Abdel-Halim, urged Griffith to return the Saudi funds, saying the Saudi Government was known for funding projects such as mosques and religious activities in Australia to “subtly” impose its hardline ideology on recipients.

* Damage control:

“If there are no guarantees they have a free hand in their curriculum … then it is safer to give the money back,” she told The Australian. “If they are not able to have no strings attached, then it’s better to not have the money.”

Documents unveiled by The Australian last week revealed that Professor O’Connor, among other staff, offered the embassy a chance to “discuss ways” in which the money could be used.

Professor O’Connor was defended yesterday by Griffith’s chancellor, Leneen Forde, who described him as an “outstanding leader”, saying the university would not have accepted Saudi funds if they had conditions attached.

“In relation to the two sentences lifted from the Wikipedia entry, Professor O’Connor has acknowledged this was inappropriate,” she wrote in a memo to staff. “This is regrettable, but is a very minor error compared to the outstanding work which Professor O’Connor has done and will continue to do for the university.”

images39.jpeg

A Howard government adviser on Islam, Ameer Ali, said Professor O’Connor was wrong to interchange the term Wahabbism - a Saudi-pioneered Islamic ideology espoused by al-Qa’ida - with Unitarianism when he defended the Saudi grant in an opinion piece published by The Australian last week.

images38.jpeg
Melbourne University associate professor Shahram Akbarzadeh said Professor O’Connor played down and did not properly reflect the essence of Wahabbism by calling it Unitarianism.

“Wahabbism and Salafism are a social ideological movement … and it’s all about merging political power with religious piety,” he said. “That was an early case of … political rulers appealing to Islamic principles and Islamic justification for their rule.”

* But Islam is always political, not spiritual. And the smiling taqiyya doctor Mohamed Abdalla from the Griffith ‘Islamic Studies Centre’ along with his cronies distribute a Koran and glossy proselytizing  brochures  which are authorized  and produced by the King Fahd Academy of Sowdi Arabiyah. How much more Wahabi-Salafi can it get?  The fox is in the henhouse…
