The Age Welcomes Aladdin

The door opens for Aladdin Sisalem

* and another 1000 illegal migrants, just about all of them fake asylum seekers…

1000 refugees receive protection, not detention

* From the Sydney Moonbat Herald

* MOHAMMAD DAWLAT HUSSAIN is among 1000 refugees who can apply for family members to join them in Australia after the Federal Government scrapped temporary protection visas in Tuesday night’s budget.

* Mr Hussain fled the Taliban in Afghanistan in 1999 and stayed in Iran for two years before travelling by boat to Ashmore Reef, off the northwest coast of Australia.

* Because everyone deserves a ‘fair go’, right? Because the Howard government was just too cruel to these fake refugees, right? Curiously, none of the lefty loons from the Age questions why a Palistanian born in Kuwait should have a right to enter Australia after passing through 5 Muslim countries on the way here. Nobody asks what Aladdin has to offer Australia, not even the naive Immigration Minister Chris Evans who just said: “Mr Sisalem’s experience is a testament to the former Howard government’s regrettable and unjust treatment of genuine refugees.”

* No. It is somehow, (just why remains a mystery) our obligation to welcome Aladdin and those like him, who will now, that he has landed, do everything to bring his extended family clan here. The fifth column in our midst is growing faster than the opium poppies in Afghanistan.

Aladdin Sisalem

COMING to Australia after 18 months held in the Manus Island detention centre — 10 of them by himself — Aladdin Sisalem felt he had finally found a new beginning.

Instead, the stateless Kuwaiti-born Palestinian found that he had merely exchanged one form of living in limbo for another. He was placed on a temporary protection visa that banned him from applying for permanent protection for five years.

He has spent the past four years not knowing if he would have to uproot himself and try all over again to find another country to take him at the end of next year.

It is only now, after a change of government, that a relieved Mr Sisalem has been told his wait has been cut short by a year. He can apply immediately for permanent residency in Australia.

For the first time since he fled persecution after a backlash against Palestinians in Kuwait on November 15, 2000, the United Nations-certified refugee may have somewhere to call home.

“They called me last week as promised and told me the office of the Minister of Immigration has agreed to specify a shorter period to process your application,” he said.

The wait to apply for permanency, and its accompanying right to visit overseas, has come at a heavy personal cost for him

Two years ago he applied for an earlier hearing to then immigration minister Amanda Vanstone, which was refused.

A letter of support from federal MP Michael Danby brought the response that he needed to demonstrate that this would be in the public interest.

Immigration Minister Chris Evans said: “Mr Sisalem’s experience is a testament to the former Howard government’s regrettable and unjust treatment of genuine refugees.”

* We beg to differ:

Fitzgerald: The immigrant’s bad faith

In February, Hussain and 24 other Muslims joined a statewide lawsuit against Citizenship and Immigration Services and the FBI for what they called unusually lengthy delays in processing their citizenship applications. Some waited as long as five years.”The lawsuit helped my application. I have been waiting so long,” said Hussain, an Orlando machinist from Iraq. — from this article

Why is Hussain, a “machinist from Iraq,” here in the United States? If he were ever a “refugee” he is a refugee no longer. He has no special skills that are desperately needed in this country. Why isn’t he back home, working hard to build the new Iraq? If he is a Shi’a Arab, then Shi’a Arabs have, thanks to the American invasion, inherited Iraq, or at least Baghdad and all points south, including the major oilfields. If he is a Sunni (not everyone named “Hussain” need be a Shi’a) he has all of the area west and north of Baghdad, save where the Kurds now run things.

Why is he here? Is he here because he must be here to avoid persecution? From Muslim countries, the only justified immigration should be that of non-Muslims. They are the ones who have a legitimate case to be here to avoid persecution. Does Hussain, the machinist from Iraq, fully support the American Constitution? Does he even understand its contents? Or is such understanding no longer necessary in order to obtain American citizenship?

Italy: The Media is quick with the 'Nazi' label

* But these people are not Nazis, despite the label this shrieking British reporter is trying to smear them with. Because successive  governments have failed to protect Italy from being overrun by illegal migrants. Because of the criminal invasion from Africa, Pakistan, Albania and former Eastern Block countries ordinary Italians are taking the law in their own hands. All the more reason to be sceptic about the spin in the main-stream media.

Mob of Nazi youths goes on immigrant rampage in ‘tolerant’ Rome

Peanut Khadr's unwanted 'advice'

* There are no words to describe this reality challenged, lunatic crackpot who can’t stop meddling  and peddling unsolicited advice:

Jimmy Carter, you’re the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You threw the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home, and then lacked the spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our people hostage. You’re the runner-in-chief.

Carter urges ‘supine’ Europe to break with US over Gaza blockade

Ex-president says EU is colluding in a human rights crime

The Khadr freak show continues:

Britain and other European governments should break from the US over the international embargo on Gaza, former US president Jimmy Carter told the Guardian yesterday. Carter, visiting the Welsh border town of Hay for the Guardian literary festival, described the EU’s position on the Israeli-Palestinian dispute as “supine” and its failure to criticise the Israeli blockade of Gaza as “embarrassing”.

Referring to the possibility of Europe breaking with the US in an interview with the Guardian, he said: “Why not? They’re not our vassals. They occupy an equal position with the US.”

Hamas and Hizbullah Recruiting in Increasingly Islamist Turkey Turkey, a vacation destination for many Israelis and the home of newly launched talks with Syria, is experiencing an upsurge in Islamist programs targeting Israel for destruction.

According to Turkish web site, radical Turkish Islamists have been organizing nightly programs in cities across Turkey under the slogan, “A free Al-Quds [the Muslim term for Jerusalem], A world without Israel.” The halls are decked out with photos of Hizbullah Chief Hassan Nasrallah and former Hamas Chief Ahmed Yassin. PLO flags are draped over the speaker’s podium.

At the events, Hamas and Hizbullah are glorified as Israel and Western countries demonized, and jihadist speeches are delivered. Participants are offered the chance to donate to the groups or even to enroll in training to join them in their terrorist operations.

Similar events are frequently held in the mainly Kurdish southeast and east of the country, with huge audiences turning out as efforts are increased to indoctrinate those populations.

The following are excerpts from the speech that radical Islamist activist Nureddin Sirin delivered in the city of Van,during which he targeted Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan along with the U.S. and Israel [courtesy of MEMRI]

Here is the transcript:

“[…] Bush went to Saudi Arabia after Israel and he is going to Egypt. The betrayal of the Islamic umma [nation] by American lackeys Egypt, Jordan and Saudi is just as grave as the Zionists’ cruelty, massacres, tortures, murders. The responsibility for the embargo that Gaza faces today, lies primarily with Egypt that keeps the gates closed – not America or Israel.

Stop wasting taxpayers money on Haneef!

Haneef terror investigation costs top $8m

Daily Telegraph

  • Total cost of terror-support case was more than $8m
  • Bungled Haneef case cost more than $3m
  • Federal police say costs are worth it

“Bungled” or not, lets not go on wasting taxpayers money flogging a dead horse.

Mohammed Haneef smiles after his release

Haneef is gone and nobody should cry any crocodile tears over his departure. Instead of wasting more taxpayers money on inquiries, mudslinging and more investigations to smear political opponents,   It would be far  more sensible to restrict entry to followers of the Muhammedan ideology who come here with hatred in their hearts towards infidels and Jews, people who intend to subvert this country to Muhammedan ‘law’- the sharia. Haneef’s guilt by association is beyond doubt, he was closely associated and related with the Glasgow bombers. There is no doubt that he shares the jihad ideology and the same mental baggage that divides the world in believer and unbeliever with his co-religionists. Our interests, the interests of the nation are non-negotiable, community cohesion and the future of this nation should be, must override every misguided attempt to somehow kowtow to hostile foreign elements regardless of attitudes of the multicultural diversity police and the useful idiots who aid and abet the global jihad with their ignorance and stupidity.

THE federal police investigation of events surrounding the bungled Mohammed Haneef terrorism-support case has cost $8.2 million – so far.

The hefty bill takes in the entire Australian Federal Police (AFP) investigation – dubbed Operation Rain – in relation to terrorist bombings and planned attacks in London and Glasgow in July last year.

AFP commissioner Mick Keelty has called the operation a part of the force’s “obligation” to protect Australia from similar attacks.

The Results Are In: New Poll Starts Today!

Our last poll “what is the biggest threat from Islam” shows the following results:

* 7 % of our readers are mostly afraid of Islamic Terrorism

*  30 % of our readers opted for demographics/ outbreeding

*  43 %  believe that invasion/mass-migration is the biggest threat

*  8 % believe that Islamic proselytizing and the increasing numbers of ‘reverts’ threaten us

* Interesting. We still believe that demographics are more threatening then anything else, because of the breeding habits of those Muslims already in the country. Question is now simply how long does it take?

*  20 years? 30 years? Or will we grow a spine and reverse the trend?

New Poll: Should Polygamy Be Permitted?

* Absolutely NOT

* Yes, Why Not

* We must apply the LAW (our law, not sharia)

* Deport polygamous Muslims

* Please let us know where you stand, the comments section is open….

50,000 to 100,000 Muhammedans in the US practice polygamy

Polygamy in Canuckistan

The Imam:

*  “This is in our religion and nobody can force us to do anything against our religion,” he said. “If the laws of the country conflict with Islamic law, if one goes against the other, then I am going to follow Islamic law, simple as that.”

*  Once again, we see that the followers of the prophet don’t respect infidel laws, except when it suits them and it furthers the Islamic agenda. This particular imam is brazen enough to spit in the face of the country that foolishly allowed him to settle in and engage in subversive activities in what he perceives to be ‘Dar-al-Harb’,  the land of war, which must be brought under Islamic law.

*  As Toronto mother describes her ordeal, imam admits he has `blessed’ over 30 unions

GTA’s secret world of polygamy

Safa Rigby holds her youngest of five children in their home, May 21, 2008. Rigby had it all. Four great kids. A faithful husband. Then she found out about his other wives.

*  Noor Javed, the writer of this article, (presumably of the Muhammedan faith) is rather defensive about the practice and does his/her best to whitewash the practice of polygamy. But no amount of lipstick can make this piglet into a pretty baby…

There were no pleasantries, there was no small talk. Safa Rigby had expected to hear her husband’s voice when the phone rang one morning. Instead, the caller didn’t even bother to say hello.

“You think you know your husband. You don’t know him at all,” said the man, a friend of her husband’s. “His car is parked outside my house right now. He is with my ex-wife. They just got married last week,” the man said.

It took a minute for the news to sink in. Then she called her husband of 14 years, demanding to know if what she had just been told was true – that while she spent a year in Egypt raising their four children in a more Islamic environment, he had used it as an opportunity to marry not just one, but two other women in Toronto.

“Yes, I’m married,” he said, quashing all her dreams of their future together.

He told her he was married in a small ceremony 20 days earlier, officiated by Aly Hindy, a well-known Toronto imam, at his Scarborough mosque.

“I cried for six days straight. Lost my appetite, ignored the kids, even had to start taking antidepressants,” said Rigby, 35. “What I couldn’t understand was how such a thing could happen in Toronto, my hometown, where polygamy is supposed to be illegal.”

It was easy. He simply found an imam willing to break a Canadian law, in exchange for upholding an Islamic one.

Polygamy is happening in Toronto; it’s not common, but it’s happening,” said Hindy, imam at Salahuddin Islamic Centre.

Hindy, hardly a stranger to controversy, is well known for his friendship with the family of Omar Khadr, the young Canadian detainee at Guantanamo Bay, and his outspoken views on the implementation of Islamic law. In the past five years, Hindy said he has officiated or “blessed” more than 30 polygamous marriages; the most recent was two months ago. Even some imams in the GTA have second wives, he added.

Scumbag-Imam Aly Hindi: subversive element

“This is in our religion and nobody can force us to do anything against our religion,” he said. “If the laws of the country conflict with Islamic law, if one goes against the other, then I am going to follow Islamic law, simple as that.”

Indonesia: Where did all the Buddhists go?

* Little is known about the fate of the Buddhists and Hindus who used to govern Indonesia. There are hardly any records of how the islamization of Indonesia came about. Should we be suspicious? I think yes. Because wherever the sword of the prophet got the upper hand the indigenous infidels were greatly decimated. In light of the Armenian genocide (which Turkey denies) and the wholesale slaughter of millions of Hindus in India we should definitely ask these questions.

Buddhist monks walk through Borobudur temple during a ceremony on Vesak Day in Magelang of the Indonesian Central Java province May 20, 2008.

Indonesian temple a reminder of country’s Buddhist past

* If it wasn’t for the help of international organizations this magnificent  monument of a higher culture would have long been destroyed by the soldiers of Allah, just like the Bamyan Buddhas…

The Buddhist temple of Borobudur, set among volcanoes on Indonesia’s Java island, stands as a testament to the Buddhist roots of the world’s most populous Muslim country.

The temple, the world’s largest Buddhist monument, was built in the eighth and ninth centuries. It is a pilgrimage site for followers from around the region and it is also the most popular tourist attraction in Indonesia.

This week, pilgrims came in their thousands to celebrate Buddha’s birthday. Monks, nuns and devotees, dressed in yellow, saffron, grey and black robes, prayed and circled the grey, volcanic stone temple, which is decorated with reliefs showing scenes from Buddhist texts and from the life of Buddha.

Each year an estimated 40,000 to 60,000 worshippers from Indonesia, China, Taiwan, Singapore and elsewhere gather at Borobudur to celebrate Vesak, boosting local tourism in a country that often struggles to attract more visitors.

“This is the biggest Buddhist temple in Indonesia, so we have come to pray, for Buddha’s birthday and enlightenment,” said Inge Teja, a 27-year-old ethnic Chinese accountant who had come with about 180 fellow-worshippers from Tangerang, near the capital Jakarta.

“At home we don’t have a temple, only a vihara,” she added.

Centuries ago, this part of central Java was ruled by Buddhist and Hindu kingdoms which left their cultural mark on the landscape with scattered temples and statues.

But today, Buddhists, along with Christians and Hindus, are among the religious minorities in Indonesia.

Out of 226 million Indonesians, about 85 percent are Muslim. Indonesia’s ministry of religious affairs says just 1.2 percent of the population are Buddhists. WALUBI, the country’s biggest Buddhist organization, puts the number at 12-15 million, or as much as 6.6 percent of the population.

Oxford rector says mosque call to prayer 'un-English'

Ekklesia News Briefs:

* Who would argue with that? The Muhammedan war-cry most certainly does not belong in any place of higher learning. Because Islam stifles mental growth. Because Islam arrests mental capabilities and free enquiry. The man has a point!

The rector of one of Oxford’s largest Anglican churches has called plans to broadcast a Muslim call to prayer from the city’s main mosque “un-English”.

Charlie Cleverly, of St Aldate’s Church, in a seven-point statement to his congregation which contains many students from the university, called on the Central Mosque to drop its plans to broadcast the messages, reports Thom Airs for the Oxford Mail.

*  Terrorism arrests at British university raise questions

But Munir Chisti, the Imam at the mosque, said people were entitled to different viewpoints and they did not wish to cause a division in the community.

Mr Cleverly, who has been the rector at the Conservative Evangelical church for five years, said he welcomed Muslims in Oxford and hoped a local dialogue between the faiths could be established.

However, he said the call to prayer was not “neutral” in its wording and could turn East Oxford into a Muslim ghetto.

He said: “I think it’s to do with nuisance noise affecting the inhabitants that have to hear it. I feel it is un-English and very different from a bell.

* No wonder he’s already got his ‘invitation’ to islam:

Italy: "The mosque destruction is sign of spiraling Islamophobia in many European countries"

*  The soldiers of Allah are feeling  the ‘backlash’ from the ‘far right, anti-immigrant Northern League’ and see the bringing down of an illegal mosque in Verona as an attack on Islam, naturally, and now all the good Muslims must ‘live in fear’…

Update: Oriana Fallaci Square

* Long live Oriana Fallaci!

* The only question that should be asked here is how and why  Muslims came to occupy this building and use it as a mosque without ever paying a penny for it. This howling and whingeing over illegal usage which is now stopped should be ridiculed. Instead, the lefty media in cahoots with the usual Muslim organizations cry crocodile tears over a property that was never rightfully theirs.

* Update from Norway: Fallaci on display

“We need to give this opportunity to Italian journalist Fallaci, too, even if we do not like her ideas.”

An exhibition dedicated to the late Italian journalist Oriana Fallaci, known in her later years for a fiercely anti-Islamic stance, has gone on display at Nobel Peace Center exhibition hall in Norway’s capital city of Oslo.

Islam in Europe

Whole lotta whinging going on:

Italy Rightists Raze Verona Mosque

By  Hadi Yahmid, IOL Correspondent

“[The mosque destruction] reinforces Muslim fears of seeing the League in the ruling coalition,” Ali Abu Shwaima.

ROME — Italy’s far-right, anti-immigrant Northern League party has started its mission in the new government with bringing down a mosque in the northern city of Verona.“[The mosque destruction] reinforces Muslim fears of seeing the League in the ruling coalition,” Ali Abu Shwaima, the head of Milan-based Islamic Centre, told on Saturday, May 24.

Bulldozers brought down last week a building housing a Muslim prayer room in the city.

“I never felt at ease with this mosque,” Elisonder Antonneli, the head of Verona city council, said.

“This place will be turned into a park and a car parking space and will be named after (Italian writer) Oriana Fallaci.”

Fallaci, who died in 2006, was notorious for anti-Islam stances.

Following the 9/11 attacks, the far-right writer published a book entitled “Rage and Pride” in which she ridiculed the Noble Qur’an.

She has also authored another book “The Force of Reason” in which she warned that Europe was turning into “an Islamic province, an Islamic colony” and that “to believe that a good Islam and a bad Islam exist goes against all reason.”

The Northern League has four ministers in Silovio Berlusconi’s government, including the portfolio of the Interior.

The League grabbed 8 percent of the vote in last month’s general elections, securing Berlusconi’s right-wing coalition a comfortable majority in the parliament.

The party has nearly doubled its parliamentary strength from 4.5 percent two years ago.

The Northern League is widely accused of racism with many critics calling it the BNP of Italy, a reference to the British right-wing party.

Its election campaign played on issues such as immigration crime and economic and cultural fears from immigration.

* Italy’s ‘Right Wingers’ ( a common slur on those who kept their faculties intact) see things a bit more realistically:

Guess Who’s Last?

Our Swedish correspondent LN sent me this image of a Lega Nord poster from the recent Italian election campaign.

The text reads: “Guess who’s last? For rights on: housing, jobs, and health care.”

Look at those delightfully racist and xenophobic caricatures! No wonder the Italians voted in droves for the Lega Nord.

And the Muslim guy is holding a — gasp! — scimitar.

UK: 'Lord Ahmed' calls for death penalty for 'extremists' who misunderstand their religion

Hang extremists’ call

* Don’t know why this story is hidden within another one, but when Britains illustrious ‘Lord Ahmed’, himself an Islamist, calls for the death penalty of fellow jihadists, the alarm-bells should be going off everywhere. Is “Lord Ahmed” worried that the ‘radicals’ spill the beans and that the infidels might wake up to the demographic jihad that’s been coming along nicely for so many years now?

Britain’s most prominent Muslim politician last night called for the return of the death penalty for extremists who urge the weak and vulnerable to carry out terrorist acts.

Labour’s Lord Ahmed spoke out as police continued to question an Islamic convert suspected of detonating a nail bomb in Exeter city centre. They have been told that Nicky Reilly, 27, who has a history of mental health problems, was brainwashed by Muslim radicals.

Lord Ahmed said: ‘Decent law-abiding Muslims are outraged that people who claim to be followers of Islam should prey on the mentally infirm and encourage them to murder people on a large scale. We should consider hanging for this type of crime.’

* Al Guardian peddles the usual crock about the ‘Big Friendly Giant’ who was such a loner! What could have possibly make him do a thing like that?  And of course nobody has the slightest inkling about what could have possibly radicalized this friendly imbecile…

Britain’s phony war on terror

We are too concerned with multiculturalism and political correctness to combat the threat of Islamism effectively

After spending time recently with senior Pentagon officials and other Americans involved in counter-terror-ism, I was struck by the global scope of their concerns. Above all I was reminded how different their attitudes are from those of their British counterparts, still obsessed with “community cohesion” and the “radicalisation” of young Muslims.

In Britain the views of the nonMuslim majority are largely ignored – or lead to them being branded as potential “Islamophobes”. In the United States the unthinkable and unsayable are debated openly.
