Actaully the bombs were dropped to save lives, as curious as it may seem (this statement is not in defence of what was done, simply to point out that there is a reason somewhat more significant that a muslims bleating of american imperialism) The fire-bombing raids over Tokyo killed more people than both nuclear weapons did. However the Genie is out of the bottle - we will not be able to control proliferation now, but considering that our folks are pretty good at finding out where components, materials etc come from, I wouldnt give a sheeps eye for any muslim country if a terrorist/muslim group tries to use one on the west. And in any case - we are now starting to work on alternative energy sources, which means that a lot of fat rich muslims will suddenly find their piggy banks empty.
