A company called ASFA Limited has applied to Liverpool City Council to build an educational facility called Qaadiri College for 600 primary and high school students at Gurner Avenue in Austral.
But neighbours of the site are adamant a development of that scale will destroy their peaceful lifestyle. They insist their concerns have nothing to do with Islam and would oppose similar-sized projects if they were proposed by other faith groups.

But there are signs that known anti-immigration activists are keen to join in a campaign against it.
The online forum, www.australianidentity.net, which openly declares that “views, ideas and contributions that are hostile to [an Anglo-Celtic-European-white heritage] are not permitted” on it, received several postings about the proposal after the development application was lodged in April.
“Any chance of an APP [Australian Protectionist Party] campaign on the basis of traffic usage etc?” wrote Casapound.
“Yes, indeedy,” replied Darrinh, who is believed to be Darrin Hodges, the NSW chairman of the Australian Protectionist Party, who recently stood unsuccessfully as a candidate in the Sutherland Shire elections.
The Herald was yesterday unable to contact Mr Hodges, whose campaign material stated: “I will oppose mosques, sex-shops and any developments that undermine Australia’s traditional and family values.”
The deputy chairman of the Islamic Council of NSW, Ali Roude, said developments proposed by Muslims had historically been met with opposition. (seems to be related to the Islamo shill Nada Roude, who soiled herself occasionally by declaring jihad is ‘inner struggle’/ed)
“Based on recent responses from local residents to the proposed Camden school and other development applications for schools and Islamic centres throughout south-west Sydney, it would appear that the real concerns and opposition from locals has little to do with the merit of the project but more to do with general anti-Muslim sentiments,” Mr Roude said.
“This continuing trend we find very disturbing and has serious consequences for all concerned.”

Liverpool’s new Mayor, Wendy Waller, said the application would be assessed on its environmental merits.

Here’s a constantly reappearing letter on blogs that discuss Islamic schools in the West. Well worth reading, it is by no means just a crackpot who makes this demand. It is much more so the general Muslim sentiment regarding education:

Schools do not belong to state, they belong to parents. It is the parents’ choice to have faith schools for their children. Bilingual Muslim children need state funded Muslim schools with bilingual Muslim teachers as role models during their developmental periods. There is no place for a non-Muslim teacher or a child in a Muslim school. There are hundreds of state schools where Muslim children are in majority. In my opinion, all such schools may be designated as Muslim community schools. An ICM Poll of British Muslims showed that nearly half wanted their children to attend Muslim schools. There are only 143 Muslim schools. A state funded Muslim school in Birmingham has 220 pupils and more than 1000 applicants chasing just 60.
Majority of anti-Muslim stories are not about terrorism but about Muslim
culture–the hijab, Muslim schools, family life and religiosity. Muslims in the west ought to be recognised as a western community, not as an alien culture.

Unlikely to be the Association of Superannuation Funds of Aust … but could it be something
to do with the As-Sunnah Foundation of America, or an Oz spin off? Time to depart these
shores, and take their “serious consequences” with them.
I’ve read the posts from londonschoolofislamics elsewhere, he can be a real nuisance.
All he’s demonstrating is his complete inability to integrate. Muslims (generally Pakistanis for many years) had the same education as everyone else. His argument that they need the British taxpayers to pay even more towards their *parallel society* is unacceptable.
If he lived in Spain (for instance) then his kids would go to the local school, be taught in Spanish and follow the Spanish curriculum. It’s the same here. That is not discrimination, that is the norm. As for having teachers that can pander to their cultural and linguistic needs it’s nonsense. In some London schools teachers could be dealing with kids who speak a wide variety of languages at home, it is unreasonable to expect teachers to give a class and have to translate into many languages. They can all learn English and be educated accordingly. They will have to use it in society in general.
He (and many like him) will have to learn that children can learn both language and culture at home. I believe that his main agenda is to convert our education system to a muslim one. It isn’t going to work.
If he believes it so important then he should live in an Islamic country where the school set up should suit him. If not he needs to shut up.
If finally approved, how will any construction be financed.
Whats the bet that money from the middle east will be shovelled through some loop hole, via some notable local benefactor, with every effort be made to hide the fact that it is some odd ball despicable arab/muslim anti western group in origin.
