Deepak Chopra blames America

Wall Street Journal

The media look within to explain the sick delusions of the Mumbai killers.

* This article from the moonbattish Wall Street Journal throws some light on another apologist for Islam,  Deepak Chopra, a Hindu who ticks like a Muslim. Whether Deepak exposes his anti-Americanism, his ignorance or his resentment of all things Western, this Charlatan made millions milking gullible, 60’s era hippie-wannabe boomers.  If he thinks he can gravitate over to gulling Koran-besotted bigots, well, good luck with that.  He’ll be lucky to keep his head.

Chopra,  this excuse for a guru, became a celebrity  by supplying feelgood mystique, enema and aroma therapy  to self-seeking, narcissistic Hippies on the great self-discovery trip.

Guru Chopra has mastered the most difficult yoga asana of all – the head-up-arse.  He doesn’t seem to realize those peaceful muslims already have an enemy – Islamist terrorists.

Deepak just about let his pants down in his bizarre attack against the U.S.

Even diehard CNN moonbat Jonathan Mann didn’t just swallow it, and -sort of- called his bluff:

If the Mumbai terror assault seemed exceptional, and shocking in its targets, it was clear from the Thanksgiving Day reports that we weren’t going to be deprived of the familiar, either. Namely, ruminations, hints, charges of American culpability that regularly accompany catastrophes of this kind.

New Age bulls#*t-artist & fake Guru Deepak Chopra: “lets make some happy molecules”

* The only question we have is why is this A-sole on CNN as a ‘terrorism expert?’

Soon enough, there was Deepak Chopra, healer, New Age philosopher and digestion guru, advocate of aromatherapy and regular enemas, holding forth on CNN on the meaning of the attacks.

How the ebullient Dr. Chopra had come to be chosen as an authority on terror remains something of a mystery, though the answer may have something to do with his emergence in the recent presidential campaign as a thinker of advanced political views. Also commending him, perhaps, is his well known capacity to cut through all sorts of complexities to make matters simple. No one can fail to grasp the wisdom of a man who has informed us that “If you have happy thoughts, then you make happy molecules.”

"The world has never experienced such a plague of darkness like the plague of Islamic fundamentalism that reveres death over life"

* Yep. And apart from pandering there is little our politicians do to stop Muslims from settling behind enemy lines to further the jihad:

COMMUNITY MEMORIAL FOR RABBI GAVRIEL HOLTZBERG AND RIVKA delivered by Rabbi Marvin Hier at the Chabad House, Westwood, November 30 (from the Wiesenthal Center, thanks to Pamela):

What is there to say or speak? What has become of our world? First, let me express my heartfelt sympathy to all the victims in Mumbai of this horrific attack – Jews and non-Jews, the families of the murdered, the maimed and the traumatized.
Every Saturday night when Shabbat concludes, Jews around the world make a special blessing, “Blessed are you Almighty…who has separated the holy from the secular – light from darkness.” Never has there been such a clear distinction between the world of light and the world of darkness.

Islam elevates women

Welcome to or continuing series about the treatment of women under sharia. While ‘elevating women’ in Iran means they are hanged from cranes if they happen to be raped, in other countries women don’t do that well either, especially when the husband had enough and kicks them out on the street.  Well, I guess its whatever it takes to break that glass ceiling, isn’t it?

Nepal: Muslims disregard state divorce laws in favor of sharia; women wind up in the street

“Elevating” women under sharia, in the way “below sea level” is referred to as a level of “elevation.”

Of course, apologists will always label practices that result in bad publicity for Islam as “cultural,” discounting the fact that “culture” is a projection of a population’s values, and interestingly, the religious fervor of Muslim societies manages to stamp out all manner of “cultural” practices, but never the supposedly “cultural” subjugation of women.

As was the case with communism, we’re told the system will bring about heaven on Earth, except for the fact that no one ever seems to be doing it “right” (because the lack of real accountability to the people removes the most practical motivation to govern well, even if the mode of government were actually a decent one). But, hey, let’s allow sharia to take root in, say,Britain, or some other Western country, and, seriously, this time things will be different. Honest.

“Muslim women in the streets against ‘talak’ or Islamic divorce,” by Kalpit Parajuli for Asia News via DW

Kathmandu (AsiaNews) – Hundreds of Muslim women along with their supporters took to the streets of Nepalgunj, a town in western Nepal, to protest against ‘Talak’ or Islamic divorce. The demonstrators, including 465 divorced Muslim women, human rights activists and about 100 Muslim men, marched on 26 and 27 November to demand immediate compensation from the women’s former husbands as well as equal division of assets after divorce.
