Why I am so adamant just now is I am completely disgusted at the appeasement we are witnessing today by all the mainstream faiths, and the antisemitism that is flourishing every where

It is disgusting that all the major faiths have been passive in eliminating christian jew hatred, and this I believe is one of the main reasons why we are seeing so much antisemitism now.

We have been brought up with christian values, and antisemitism is still rife within christianity.

Once again: you have to take into account that the majority of Germans at that time were far more Catholic and religious at that time.

At the same time he developed his cult of personality, a replacement religion, Nazism with the swastika, with the flags, the torches and the marches, etc etc, that was the only way it could be done.

Hitler did most of his writing and reading in jail, Nietsches Uebermensch was very much in vogue then, and Nietsche had absolutely no liking for Christianity. I discussed this in length years ago with Hitlers most famous biographer, Professor Werner Maser in Mannheim, Germany, who knew Hitler personally and assured me that Hitler despised Christianity (and Judaism, of course)

Think about Turkey’s Ataturk and his ‘Kemalism’- which was totally unislamic,- and yet he was a Muslim. You have to see it in this light. As you know I am a Jew and I have no reason whatsoever to speak for Christianity, but I have done some in depth research which confirms that Hitler used Christianity to fool the believers, but that was just about it.

The Concordat of 1933 made it apparent to all concerned that the Vatican did not take a hostile attitude toward Hitler. The agreement conferred legitimacy on the Nazi government. Under the terms of the Concordat, the Vatican was assured its property and wealth would be secure under the Nazi regime and the Hitler government agreed to continue to pay subsidies to the Church. In addition, the independence of the Catholic school system was protected from the Nazis and Catholic parents could choose to send their children to Catholic schools instead of state schools.

In return, the Catholic Church taught obedience to Hitler. Article 32 of the Concordat gave Hitler what he really wanted: the exclusion of the Catholic clergy from all political activity.

But whatever Hitler said in 1922 hardly equals his real views and actions. First you have to take into account that the German public at that time was much more religious than today, and second Hitler himself was still a work in progress. Hitler justified his fight for the German people and against Jews by using Godly and Biblical reasoning. Indeed, one of his most revealing statements makes this quite clear:

Although Hitler did not practice religion in a churchly sense, he certainly believed in the Bible’s God. Raised as Catholic he went to a monastery school and, interestingly, walked everyday past a stone arch which was carved the monastery’s coat of arms which included a swastika. As a young boy, Hitler’s most ardent goal was to become a priest. Much of his philosophy came from the Bible, and more influentially, from the Christian Social movement. (The German Christian Social movement, remarkably, resembles the Christian Right movement in America today.) Many have questioned Hitler’s stand on Christianity. Although he fought against certain Catholic priests who opposed him for political reasons, his belief in God and country never left him. Many Christians throughout history have opposed Christian priests for various reasons; this does not necessarily make one against one’s own Christian beliefs. Nor did the Vatican’s Pope & bishops ever disown him; in fact they blessed him! As evidence to his claimed Christianity, he said:

“My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God’s truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was His fight for the world against the Jewish poison. To-day, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before the fact that it was for this that He had to shed His blood upon the Cross. IF there was at all something like a closed group of the German population that resisted the Nazis, it were the Catholics, but Catholic-bashing is SO much fun and quite the in the current Zeitgeist, isn’t it?
