Canadian Arab Federation president Khaled Mouammar calls Federal Immigration Minister Jason Kenney a “professional whore” for supporting Israel

Dreck from Arabia:

Arabic group loses federal funding over hatred..

Federal Immigration Minister Jason Kenney was called a “professional whore” by Canadian Arab Federation president Khaled Mouammar.

Khaled Mouammar of the Canadian Arab Federation
OTTAWA — Immigration Minister Jason Kenney is poised to slash federal funding to Canada’s largest Arabic group after its president called him a “professional whore” for supporting Israel.

In an exclusive interview with Sun Media from London, England, where he is to speak today at an international conference on anti-Semitism, Kenney said groups are free within legal bounds to say what they like. But groups whose leaders say intolerant or hateful things shouldn’t get taxpayer funding.

“We should not be rewarding those who express views that are contrary to Canada’s best liberal values of tolerance and mutual respect.”

*  Khaled Mouammar of the Canadian Arab Federation has a fair record of spreading some good old Arabian hate…

One of those groups, said Kenney, is the Canadian Arab Federation whose president Khaled Mouammar called him a “professional whore” after Kenney criticized the presence of Hezbollah and Hamas flags at anti-Israel rallies in Toronto.

Kenney said the same group criticized Liberal MP Bob Rae because of his wife’s involvement in Canada’s Jewish community.

The federation received a $447,297 contribution from Kenney’s department to operate a settlement program in Toronto for two years, teaching new immigrants language and job searching skills.

HELP FOR NEWCOMERS

Kenney said he has already asked department officials to weigh comments made by groups when evaluating funding applications, and the comments made by the Arab Federation president will affect its contribution when the current one expires in March 2010.

Mouammar, however, says that Kenney’s decision will hurt newcomers to Canada, not just Arabs. Arabs make up only 5% of those who receive his group’s settlement services, which Mouammar said were among the best in the Toronto area. Mouammar said Kenney’s decision is “vindictive” and accused him of promoting Islamophobia internationally.

“This government is anti-Arab and anti-Muslim,” he said, adding the federal government has refused to meet with the Canadian Arab Federation or the Canadian Islamic Congress since Prime Minister Stephen Harper came to power.

In the interview and in his speech, Kenney was also critical of the Canadian Islamic Congress, saying its former president Mohamed Elmasry once tried to “legitimize the killing of all Israeli adults.”

Wahida Valiante, who succeed Elmasry as president of the CIC — which doesn’t get government funding — said Kenney misrepresented Elmasry’s comments on the world stage.

Kenney’s comments come as he is attending the meeting of the International Parliamentary Coalition to Combat Anti-Semitism. Kenney said the theme emerging from the meeting is the new and growing anti-Semitism around the world in the form of anti-Zionism.

Updated:

The Globe and Mail today published an excellent op-ed analysis of the CAF’s suspicious activities and the funding they receive from the government. This is in response to their statements that Stephen Harper and Michael Ignatieff are professional whores, and the Harper government’s threat that they would cut off their $447,000 grant.

Here is an excerpt:

With a budget of more than $1-million a year, the Canadian Arab Federation depends heavily for its existence on taxpayers’ money. It claims this funding is used entirely for programs that help newcomers adjust to Canadian society, and to fight racism and Islamophobia. “Our activity as an advocacy group has nothing to do with our political activity,” Mr. Boudjenane says.

But the CAF’s website tells another story. The home page urges people to join protests against the “massacre on Gaza.” It links to dozens of anti-Israel articles, and gives prominent play to the winners of a recent essay contest on “the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.” The website was developed with a grant of $60,000 from the federal Department of Heritage.

The CAF is a prominent sponsor of anti-Israel demonstrations, which feature people waving Hamas and Hezbollah flags, and people calling for the state of Israel to be wiped off the planet. One video shows a woman pointing toward the camera and declaring: “Jewish child, you’re going to f—— die. Hamas is coming for you.”

Although the CAF purports to speak for the community, it doesn’t care for Muslims who don’t share its views. Ali Mallah, the vice-president for Ontario, has repeatedly referred to members of the Muslim Canadian Congress, a moderate group, as “house Negroes.”

I also recently posted an audio clip where Ontario CAF VP Ali Mallah (eloquently quoted above) states “As long as they [B’nai Brith, the Conservatives and the Canadian Jewish Congress] are not happy with us, it means we are doing a good job…”.

For more government funding of problematic Muslim organizations, take a look at the “The Meaning of Jihad” video at the Muslim Canadian Congress website. At around the 31 minute Mark, Aly Hindy of the Salaheddin Islamic Center in Scarborough talks about suicide bombers. By the end he justifies suicide attacks with a comparison between a bomber and a soldier going to fight in a sword fight where there is a good chance he is going to die. A quick search on google and wikipediareveals that the center has been suspected of funneling money to Afghan training camps – money that it apparently collected and issued tax receipts on through its registered charity, Health Education Project International. Check out the Mackenzie Institute’s report for more information.

Let’s hope that the government’s threats turn to action.

  1. Open Letter To the Prime Minister
Re: The Conservative Party’s unfulfilled commitments to provide the proper mandate to administer the Conflict of Interest Code for Members of the House of Commons ( The Code) and the Conflict of Interest Act ( The Act).
We are writing to you as the largest non government organization (NGO) – not for profit corporation Lobbying, Journalism, Advocacy and Immigration Practitioners organization who share the Conservative Party’s stated belief in the ideals of transparent government, an informed electorate, and enhanced government accountability for all Canadians.
As we are concerned that your government’s cabinet minister the Hon. Minister Jason Kenney’s latest actions since he assumed power on October 30, 2008 for the position was appointed Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism have not matched the commitments you made as leader of the Conservative Party during the 2006 election campaign – specifically, your commitment to open up the inner workings of government to scrutiny by reforming Canada’s Accountability Act.
Due to many hate speeches, racisim Statements, and visits to Jewish conference, Kenney made or attended on behalf of the Government, Now there could be no better time to ask why the Accountability Act does not apply to your Cabinet Minister’s actions and certainly so far this Act was not fulfilled during your first term of office, and whether or not your party intends to fulfill by having full and open transparency to allow all kind of investigations to all types of actions made by any Minister of your Cabinet.
The Conservative Party’s original intent was to include many reforms in the Accountability Act, and one of them was in particular given the mandate is to administer the Conflict of Interest Code for Members of the House of Commons ( The Code) and the Conflict of Interest Act ( The Act) .
Your government was elected on a platform of accountability and transparency.
We, along with many other Canadians concerned about openness and accountability in government, have been disappointed that to date your Cabinet Minister, the Hon. Jason Kenney have not followed through on his campaign promise to speak on behalf of all cultures, all Canadians, and respect all Canadians without Conflict of interest between his private interest and his public duties
Can you let us know before the end of this month what you intend to do in this regard, and specifically whether or not you will agree to fulfill your 2006 campaign promises on implementing the Accountability Act to all Canadians without exemptions to your Cabinet Ministers.
We believe this is an important issue, and we plan to share your response with the Canadian public to bring the Accountability Act to all.

  2. “and respect all Canadians” ? Isn’t that supposed to be reciprocal you jew haters?

    Th real CAF, bigots:

    Defending terrorist organizations:

Under pressure from the pro-Israel lobby and the US government, Canada has banned both Hezbollah and Hamas. Both of these groups are legitimate political parties, with grassroots support, and are represented in the legislature and the cabinets of Lebanon and the Palestinian Authority respectively. Both groups are resisting the illegal Israeli occupation of Lebanon and Palestine respectively which right is guaranteed under international law.

    Promoting terrorist propaganda:

Links to video clips distributed by CAF featured prominently disturbing images of Hamas operatives undergoing terrorist training, photos of young children being indoctrinated into violence, and the image of Hamas leader Khaled Meshal, in exile in Syria, rallying his followers. The recurring images of the flags of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, two terrorist groups outlawed in Canada and many other countries around the world, smacks of the promotion of terrorist objectives, ideologies and methods.

    Spreading crazy conspiracy theories:

…the (CAF) is promoting Sept. 11 conspiracy theories by announcing a July 14 Toronto speaking event entitled “The 9/11 deception continues.” … The two featured speakers are (1) Bob Bowman, who believes that the U.S. government participated in the 9/11 attacks, and (2) Michael Keefer, a University of Guelph English teacher who (based on this unbelievably turgid article he wrote for Counterpunch) apparently is sympathetic to much the same view.

    Promoting an anti-Semitic screed:

…Amid the spate of books coming out focusing on the Israel Lobby and its dominant role in pushing the U.S. to commit aggression in Iraq, we should remember that Canadian author Greg Felton was first out of the gate last year with his The Host and The Parasite—How Israel’s Fifth Column Consumed America.

    Raving about Jewish, er, bakers:

Posted by Ali Mallah – CAF Vice President, Ontario Region on 10/05/2008, 04:48 PM

For the last several years, The LPC (Liberal Party of Canada)has lost any sense of common sense and became a spinless hostage of Zionist supporters and bakers.

    Honouring fanatics:

Zafar Bangash, editor of Crescent International, an Islamist newsletter, will be honoured Saturday night at the CAF’s gala dinner at Brassaii Bistro, 461 King St. W., for his “unwavering” support of Palestine.
    (…)
Bangash, who in his writings refers to the vast majority of Canadians — that being non-Muslims — as “kuffar or kufr”, which means non-believers and infidels, calls on all Muslims to either commit and “prepare ourselves to make the kinds of sacrifice that were required of Ibrahim (sacrificing his son) … or we rely solely on material resources and sink to the level of the kuffar,” (Feb. 2004).

    Celebrating Iran’s Islamic Revolution:

On Feb 16th the occasion of the 29th Anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution ISLAMIC SOCIETY OF YORK REGION presents a Conference on “PEACE AND JUSTICE IN THE WORLD”

You people deserve NO FUNDING and lots of rebuke.

  3. I am very proud of my Canadian government, for standing against the U.N. motion supporting Arabs view against Israel.

The Left is now working as TREACHEROUS AND TREASONOUS SLIME, in going against our basic humanitarian values and siding with Islams policies.

It especially astounds me as to the stupidity of females defending Islamic actions, In essence debasing themselves to the value of one half a male under SHARIA LAW.
SHAME ON YOU for working against the females and males who fought for your rights in our societies.

  4. Here we have The Minister of Citizenship and Immigration and Multiculturalism and master of none, taking it personally and being an immature little boy about all of it in respect to taking away financial support to the Canadian Arab Federation. It seems that if you disagree with The Honourable Jason Kenney then he takes it personally and gets very vindictive and venomous.

It seems that this kind of immature little boy attitude is prevalent throughout the Conservative Party which is a collection of hard liner unreasonable Reform and Alliance Party members. There is nothing Conservative about this Conservative Government.

… ask Danny Williams, the Liberal Premier of Newfoundland and a former Progressive Conservative, a real Conservative and not the collection of incompetents that we have now masquerading as Conservatives.

It seems that Danny Williams instituted the A B C program in Newfoundland during the previous Federal Elections.
A B C stands for ANYTHING BUT CONSERVATIVE. Newfoundland elected all Liberals and NO Conservatives.

The Prime Minister of Canada became very vindictive towards Newfoundland with the previous budget where Newfoundland would lose billions of dollars per year.

May I remind The Prime Minister Stephen Harper and MInister of Citizenship and Immigration and Multiculturalism and ‘master’ of none that they are elected by all the people for all the people. Harper and Kenney are PUBLIC SERVANTS. It’s about time both of these two immature little boys realized this. They are not elected to put their personal and own agenda forth. They are elected by all the people for all the people to govern in the best interest of all the people and all of Canada. You are only public servants and nothing more so lets get back down to earth and do what you are supposed to do that being governing in the best interest of all Canadians and of all Canada.

Jason Kenney has got to be the most incomplete individual I have ever come across as a politician, … a real legend in his own mind and the most incompetent person that is not suited for the job in the least. If Jason Kenney is truly concerned about serving his country the best way he can do this is to immediately resign. I am not impressed in the least nor am I impressed with Cane and Abel, two more immature little boys that cannot get along no matter what. Draw a line somewhere in the sand and live happily ever after, … it’s as simple as that. Everyone needs somewhere to live.

Now we have Bob Rae’s wife being frowned upon for supporting Israel, … well, isn’t that a horrific crime. I don’t mind that Mrs. Rae supports Israel just as long as she understands that she is Canadian and that Canada comes first and not Israel. I don’t mind that all Canadians celebrate their heritage and practice their religion however do these things from a Canadian perspective, that Canadian perspective being Canada first along with Canadian ‘core’ values.

Canada is a unique entity among all countries in this world with a great and wonderful Mosaic rich and diverse culture, a collection of different people from all over the world working together as Canadians first for Canada first while celebrating their heritage and their own religion, … this is the way it is supposed to be if this country is going to work. It can’t be any other way otherwise we are going to have a collection of different cultures drawing a line and warring against each other.

If Cane and Abel want to live in Canada then they will have to get along and that is all there is to it. Put forth Canadian core values and a Canada first attitude and half the problems are gone immediately and that is all you need to get along, … Canadian core values and Canada first.

We don’t need immature incompetent hard liners like Harper and Kenney in Government. If I don’t like what Kenney is doing then I am going to tell him that I don’t like what he is doing without any worry about reprimand.
NO DICTATORS ALLOWED IN CANADA AND THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT. There is ZERO Canadian tolerance in this regard.

A healthy disrespect for government is required to keep things in balance and to keep things going in a steady progressive and prosperous way and manner.
All Canadians must realize this especially new Canadian immigrants. It is OK to criticize your government. It is expected in a diverse mosaic democratic culture. It’s the Canadian way. Everyone must help their government govern otherwise the government will screw it all up just like they are doing now. Feel free to criticize your government. It is a must for good government. Write letters. Keep on writing letters and at election time vote YOUR government in or vote YOUR government out. The Government is YOUR servant. YOU are NOT the Governments servant and never will be.

Canada is a nation of celebration!
Immigrants bring wonderful gifts with them and make invaluable contributions to this country. Lets keep it positive. Lets keep it Canadian. Lets keep it Canada. There is no other country in the world like Canada.

    The world need more Canada

  5. Dear Mr immigration practitioner,

fortunately for us you are not in charge of making policy in Canada.

You have now ranted at length (why in so many words?) to tell us how much you hate Jason Kenney who didn’t like being called a “professional whore” by your fellow Arab Khaled Muammar.
If you don’t want dictators in Canada perhaps you should try to stop immigration from Islamic countries, because as we can see above it is because of them that your country is no longer celebrating but corrupted with Islamic hatred.

  6. Sheik, they support terrorists but Jason Kenney is a ‘terrible man’. That’s our ‘diverse’ values at work. Nuff said I think.

  7. I nominate Minister Kenney for the Order of Canada for having had the guts to stand up to the Chamberlains, campus know-nothings and quarterwit dhimmis who are anxious to welcome into our country ninth-century neanderthal fascists who since birth have been indoctrinated to destroy freedom, democracy and sexual equality wherever they find them. (Quick! Pick an islamic country YOU’D like to live in.)
    My Canada doesn’t include islam.

  8. Well,Well, by the sound of Mr. immigration practitioner, The Honourable Mr. Jason Kenney has done something right. certainly seems to have hit a sore spot.

  9. The Canadian Society of Immigration Practitioners needs to realise that they are a Canadian organisation. They are not an offshoot for an Arab government. While they do have Arab membership, Canada doesn’t consist just from the Arab Canadians. The type of languages this organisation chooses to use doesn’t look like they understand basic things about living in Canada. I am shocked and absent with the stance they take on this issue. And then attacking a Canadian government just because they attended an international conference on anti-Semitism is not Canadian. This group has a problem with the government because a Minister attends “a Jewish conference”. What a bunch of losers. I hope this organisation is not getting taxpayer’s money, because if they do, I am going to contact my MP to review their file.

  10. This Society does not have a foot to stand on, despite the fact the chairwoman is a Jewish, the Minister Kenney does not recognizes her or give her a dime anyway.

Hey, Who knows, she maybe playing on both sides
    Lets sit and watch

  11. My Allah is better than your Allah is a serious debate at the ministers’ office between his staff, Velshi -“Shia” and the CAF president, Moummar -“Sunni”
Is Jason Kenney an Anti -Muslim (Sunni) ? Who do we have on Kenney’s foreign Policy staff? Why Mr. Kenney was attacked by Canadian Arab Federation president Khaled Mouammar ( Muslim Sunni),
What is the real equation in the minister mind? This indicates that Jason Kenney is Pro -Shia but in the same token also he is an Anti -Iran ? Is this possible! we know that Iran supports Hamas and Hezbollah, but Kenney is Pro – Isreal, and Pro-Shia hmmmmmm!!
Alykhan Velshi, (Muslim Shia) Legal Experience: 2 years-Jurisdictions: New York- not Canada, advised his boss Kenney to Cuts Funds To Arab SUNNI Group For Noting His Professionalism! why These recent attacks at the Minister from the Sunni Muslim, and not the Shia Muslim.
He is an Ismaili Conservative Shia Muslim, graduated from the London School of Economics and was appointed , senior special assistant for foreign policy and parliamentary affairs, he is one of Jason Kenney’s staffers ‘living multiculturalism’ .We have a Hindu, Christian, Muslim and a Budhist,’ says Tenzin Khangsar, staff director to Mr. Kenney. ‘It’s a great example of the minister’s commitment to his job.’
What Mr. Velshi is really saying is that if the government can do as it pleases with any one of us, it can do what it pleases with all of us. It would be in our own self-interest to consider Conrad Black innocent until such time as is proven otherwise.

  13. The first serious manifestation of anti-Semitism, Racism hatred exists in the Minister Kenney’s’ dark closet when he picks and chooses who is funded and who is not in Canada! Shia versus Sunni

Minister Kenney does not have a foot to stand on in his ministry when he makes decisions on people in Canada are Pro- Palestinians! Ask his staff, the Shia Muslim Alykhan Velshi,

The article “Arab group calls Kenney ‘professional whore’ was circulated world wide since February 16, 2009 attacking his ideology and what he stands for. Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney>>>

TORONTO — Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney was recently given an additional title, albeit a crude and uncomplimentary one.

According to one Canadian Jewish News paper staff reporter ANDY LEVY-AJZENKOPF, http://www.cjnews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=16359&Itemid=86 wrote “ Last week, Kenney was termed a “professional whore” by Khaled Mouammar ( Muslim Sunni) , president of the Toronto-based, non-profit Canadian Arab Federation (CAF), both for Kenney’s personal support of Israel and his denunciations of radical pro-Palestinian supporters carrying signs supporting Hamas and Hezbollah – considered terrorist groups by Canada – at rallies across the country last month against Israel’s recent military operation in Gaza.

On the other hand, the same so called, Minister Kenney has one of his staff, a conservative Shia Muslim that supports the Bush doctrine, have a favorable disposition towards Israel, and supported the right to publish the Danish cartoons!. Yet he cringed when reading Pope Benedict’s speech!, and he claimed not jut because of its laughable recounting of 15th who is discussed by Muslim Shia’s century Christianity’s embrace of reason and tolerance!!

Kenney said:” his department is now evaluating whether certain groups – including the CAF – should continue to receive public funding, because of their alleged promotion of terror groups and anti-Semitism”.

Has the minister planning to question how many organizations in Canada are Pro- Palestinians who supports Hamas and Hezbollah?

Is the Society so called The Canadian Society of Immigration Consultant (CSIC) that his ministry recognizes , supports and funded $1.2 Million Dollars contains more than 600 Middle Eastern members of Muslim Iranian, Palestinians, Pakistani’s and Indian who are supporter of Extremists Muslims in Palestine and encourages Hamas ruling in that region (GAZA) !. Is he planning to pull the plug and cut funding including the withdrawal of his Ministerial support from that Society so called “CSIC”!

Minister Kenney said he “couldn’t care less” about the disparaging comments made by Mouammar. What about the Canadians who are disparaging his reputation for the past two weeks. The Minister needs a Reality check because he should care if he wants 800.000 Arab/ Jewish people in Canada to vote for him in the next election.

Is the Prime Minister taking notes of this Kenney’s actions! What is he planning to doe about it if he wants to stay in power?

“They can say whatever they like about the government and ministers. It’s a free country!. I’ve had much worse things said about me by much better people,” he said. “But my point [in weighing whether to continue funding the CAF], is whether an organization … that distributes videos produced by Hamas and Islamic Jihad that glorifies terrorism [and] indoctrinates children into the cult of anti-Semitic hatred… is not an organization, in my opinion, that should be receiving taxpayer subsidies.”!

How many Jewish organizations in Canada promoting hate against Arab people in Canada? Is this Okay with this Ministers’ ideology on Anti Racism ! Is this also part of his statement “takes a zero-tolerance approach to expressions of anti-Semitism in the public square.” !

This minister does not speak for the vast majority of Canadians of Arab Muslim and Christian origin of 3 Million in Canada, who are honest, decent, thoughtful, democratic, moderate people; most of whom came to this country seeking life in a stable, liberal democracy, not this kind of the Minister shrill, cartoonish voice of extremism that his Staff Alykhan Velshi, too often represents,” Kenney s’ vast statements.

“I’m simply saying, when we make funding decisions we should take into account the character of the organization and its leadership?

Has he taken a serious thought of investigating the chairman Mr. John Ryan and his unethical society “CSIC” who are under Government investigation for the past 4 years and the minister ignored his own government motion and recommendation to wound up this society of financial mismanagement of taxpayers funds. The Minister is well aware that CSIC board members and its members are promoting extremism each time service Immigration application from Arab Origin, or implicitly promoting anti-Semitism against other Jewish members, I think that should be a serious consideration for the Minister to stop this double talk!.

I hope Alykhan Velshi is no relation to Ali Velshi. the CNN reporter on Economy.

  14. “Arab-Muslims honest, decent, thoughtful, democratic, moderate people; most of whom came to this country seeking life in a stable, liberal democracy”- that is quite a mouthful and very little of it sounds right. But lets say we give you the benefit of the doubt…!

Does that mean you discarded and renounced your Islamic obligation to make Canada Islamic by any means and to replace the stable, liberal democracy of Canada with the Sharia?
