Mr Choudary, a father of three, admitted he lived off benefits despite objecting to the British state. He rejected suggestions of hypocrisy, saying: “I don’t think it’s of any importance.”
A Muslim fundamentalist leader today told of his vision of Britain under Sharia law.
Anjem Choudary said he wanted the “flag of Allah” flying over Downing Street, all women wearing burkas and caning for drunkenness.
He is the leader of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah, founded as a successor to the banned fundamentalist sect al-Muhajiroun, which was led by now-exiled preacher Omar Bakri Muhammad.
The self-proclaimed Sharia judge admitted his followers had organised protests against British soldiers in Luton this week, waving placards which called them “murderers” for their conduct in Iraq.
Mr Choudary, a 41-year-old lawyer, said he was proud to be reviled. “It’s inevitable that when you offer an alternative morality and way of life many people will hate you for it.”
He said this “alternative morality” would mean “a pure Islamic state with Sharia law in Britain” and added: “Every woman, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, would have to wear a traditional burka and cover everything apart from her face and hands in public.”
“In matters to do with the judicial system and the penal code, one male witness is sufficient to counter the testimony of two females. People who commit adultery would be stoned to death.”

Nearly 600 people joined the One Law for All anti-racist rally against Sharia and religious-based laws in Britain and elsewhere and in defence of citizenship and universal rights in Trafalgar Square and marched towards Red Lion Square in London.
Hundreds then joined our public meeting to discuss and debate Sharia, Sexual Apartheid and Women’s Rights. Our protest was met with widespread support and left many feeling inspired and invigorated. It was also covered by the mainstream media, including BBC Radio 4, BBC 5Live, BBC Wales, and the Times.

When is someone going to put this prat out of his misery? I think Omar Bakri was involved in Hizb ut-Tahrir…which was the organization which started all the fundamentalism in the Uk…It was banned in the middle east but allowed to flourish in the Uk for about 12 years before anyone took much notice of it.

Just in case last item is misunderstood — The above is not intended to say that the papal flag will be Islamic – nope – I hope that the Vatican will rule all these miserable muslims who want to rule the world and grind them into the dirt as they so deserve. For the rest of the muslim folk who are happy to accept other belief systems as being equal, despite the poison written in the Quran, life will go on as usual and they will be part of our community. Dickheads like Anjem and his lover Bilal will be treated in a rough and nasty manner – or killed – who cares!
Why can’t UK deport Choudary (Who cares where to?). If UK has no laws that permit such deportation, then create the laws that will remove this cancer from UK society. Why should UK allow him to foment a takeover of UK society and create a cultural war between Muslims and Christians? He is guilty of cultural sedition. Freedom of speech has its limits (or should have).
