A re-emergence of Christianity and Western Values in Camden?

CAMDEN will become a breeding ground for terrorists if an Islamic school teaches its agenda of war and violence, a court heard yesterday.

Residents from the town, calling themselves ‘‘ Camdenites’’, pleaded with the Land and Environment Court to take their fears seriously.

‘‘ They will teach war and how to kill,’’ local Judith Bond said. ‘‘ It will be a breeding ground for terrorists.Islam is a national security threat.’’

Ms Bond was one of 18 Camdenites to have their video evidence played to the court yesterday, with another three taking the stand in person.

Ms Bond said they had to uphold Australian values— the school would emphasise values of violence and teach sharia law and terrorism.

The churches refer to the supremacist nature of Islam, its desire for world domination, its inability to function with Australian law and that the Quranic Society is incompatible with the Australian way of life and our freedoms.

This is a strong step forward. For the first time, the proposed school is being argued against on the actual issues. The arguments about traffic and environmental concerns were at best a stalling option.

Australia:  Four Christian Churches stand against “Islamic beachhead”

Churches unite against Islamic school in Camden

The Daily Telegraph

FOUR Christian churches have joined in an unprecedented attack on the Islamic faith in an attempt to stop a Muslim school being built.

Calling the religion an ideology driven by world domination, a submission to the Land and Environment Court yesterday said a proposed school at Camden was a “beachhead” in Islamic takeover of southwestern Sydney, threatening the Australian way of life.

The attack, co-signed by local heads of Baptist, Anglican, Presbyterian and the Evangelical Sisters of Mary churches, formed the spearhead of Camden City Council’s defence to a court challenge over its rejection of a development application for the Muslim school.

“Islam is not simply a private religion. It is driven by a powerful political agenda, it is an ideology with a plan for world domination,” the letter said.

“The Quranic Society application to establish an Islamic school in Camden is typical of a regularly repeated pattern to form a beachhead in an area for the development of a sub-culture which, for the most part, regards its own legal system as superior to the current Australian law.”

They said the Muslim community would seek to dominate public space in Camden “as we have seen in Auburn, Bankstown, Lakemba and more recently Liverpool”.

The provocative submission was penned by Camden’s Baptist Pastor Brian Stewart, St John’s Anglican Rector Tony Galea, Presbyterian minister Warren Hicks and Sisters of Mary’s sisters in charge Sister Simone and Sister Gideona.

Use of the letter is a turnaround from previous claims that the council’s ruling was on the grounds of traffic congestion.

The first day in the society’s court challenge began with a visit to the proposed site on Cawdor Rd, Camden. Chris Gough, heading the Quranic Society’s legal team, said there were no planning grounds why the school, for 900 students, should not be approved.

“The constitution of Australia talks about freedom of religion,” Mr Gough said.

In their objection, the Christian ministries said they may be seen as racists or hypocrites but they were trying to preserve a rich, hard-won way of life that was incompatible with Quranic Society teachings.

“The Quranic Society espouses a world view which is not compatible with broader, Australian egalitarian culture,” they said.

“A fundamental tenet of the faith is that Muslims are not required to obey any law that does not come from Allah.”

Yes, yes, yes!

Too small? Click here This is a satirical website. None of what you read here has anything to do with Islam, because Islam is a Religion of Peace. Everybody knows that good Muslims never do the things they do, (because Allah does it for them, Quran 8:12) and we know that only our misperceptions, ignorance and stereotyping of Islam makes Muslims chop off heads, kill and rape women and children, bomb subways, buses, nightclubs and fly jets into buildings. If it wasn't for the media and da Jooozzz, we wouldn't even know its happening. We welcome open, honest, thoughtful, and vigorous discussion in the comments threads, so do yourself a favour and don't accuse us of being 'haters' because we are loving, tolerant people. Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but  you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way... But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it.  If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted. Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth, (we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it! One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display. But you won't be back, trust me on that. Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

It has been said again “RACIST” let us get it straight again and again. Islam is not a race, it is a belief system that programmes it’s adherents into hatred and violence towards civilised society. It has no place in it’s present form in a civic minded society!

Calling islam a race and labelling its critics racists is just a way to try to silence people..that it is totally illogical does not seem to matter to the people who say such ridiculous things..I think these people are very frightened ..but aren’t we all…We have reason to be frightened. We have mad men amongst us and they are breeding at a fantastic pace.
I recently attempted to watch the mad sheik torture and murder video smuggled into the US….I could not finish watching it. As Wafa Sultan says , it is a clash between barbarity and rationality. It cannot be a clash of civiliaztions because islam is uncivilized..it cannot be a clash of religions because islam is not a religion.
Good on the people of Camden and their religious leaders for standing up…No doubt they will receive death threats.

Who will HREOC have in its sights?

(Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission)

hreoc gov au / racial_discrimination

The Racial Discrimination Act aims to ensure that Australians of all backgrounds are treated equally and have the same opportunities.
[...]
This work is led by Tom Calma, the Race Discrimination
Commissioner and the Race Discrimination Unit (RDU). The RDU
consists of two sections:
* Strategic Directions
* Muslim and Community Partnerships

(This being the same Tom Calma who attended the Durban Review
conference in Geneva where Ahmadinejad spouted off his Israel =
racist state stuff, despite the Oz Government boycott).

Responsible government is being replaced by “governance”, with
independent & unaccountable bodies like HREOC grabbing power,
and “disempowering” the people, to use one of their buzzwords.
