Arabs (and muslims in particular) seem to have a problem with being giving the freedoms to make all their own decisions without guidance - Iraq, amongst others, is a good example. Until the arab and muslim mentality matures they (arabs/muslims) seem to require guidance - unfortunately they usually make poor choices in choosing their teachers. That is the danger of democracy in places like pakiland - the terrorists can win an open vote using blackmail and murder, but they will claim that their election was a democratic choice. Hamas claimed a democratic victory after having used extortion and violence as electioneering tools. The myopic idiots in the EU also claim this was a democratic election, but it was democratic in name only. The manner in which a significant part of the election was prosecuted was not in the spirit of democracy. Actually, the only true democratic state in the middle east in Israel. Rob,
