London, Sep. 4 : British hate preacher Anjem Choudary has controversially demandedcapital punishment for Koran-bashing author Sebastian Faulks if he is found guiltyunder sharia law.
“Mr Faulks was extremely naïve for what he said and it could have some grave consequence for him. Someone like this needs to be assessed in an Islamic court of law and if he’s found guilty then there would becapital punishment,” the Daily Express quoted him, as saying.
“Just as we chopping the hand off a thief and stoning the adulterer, we have for the one who insults the Prophet the death penalty,” he added.
Last week, Faulks had attracted Muslim community’s wrath by describing Koran as “the rantings of a schizophrenic” and “very disappointing from a literary point of view”.

Faulks, the author of James Bond novel Devil May Care, had said that the words of Prophet Mohammed were “one-dimensional”, and had criticised the Koran for not telling stories, like the Old Testament.
Although Faulks has apologised for calling Koran the “rantings of a schizophrenic,” Islam4UK a radical group associated with Choudary posted an article on its website entitled, “Sebastian Faulks on a Death Wish?”
“May Allah punish the oppressors and deal with the slanderers,” it added.
Alexander Meleagrou-Hitchens, of the Centre for Social Cohesion, said: “Choudary and his followers are seeking to impose their will on the population of this country through subversion and incitement to violence.
“The weakness of Choudary’s fascist ideology could not be better illustrated than by his inability to provide an intellectual response to criticism, instead resorting to veiled threats and intimidation.”
However, Faulks declined to comment. His spokeswoman said: “He apologises if his comments about the Koran have offended Muslims.” (ANI)

I wonder what a “tampered with” Biblical verse might read – maybe
Luke 23:33 and 34 when Jesus asked for forgiveness for those who
crucified Him (or only thought they crucified Him, in Solkhar’s
sanitised, bug-fixed allah-sanctioned version):
[When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified him, along with the criminals--one on his right, the other on his left.
Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.]
If one did not have Solkhar’s deep insight, one might get the impression that the koran and Bible were authorised by two
different gods – perhaps the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ
when He was crucified is the work of agenda-driven right-wing
blog owners reading the hate literature of Robert Spencer and
Geert Wilders – but then again, maybe Jesus Christ was crucified,
did forgive those who mocked and reviled him, and really is the
Son of God.
Could it be, Solkhar?
A particular religious system identifies with the sword, and wields it
with vigour to eliminate the enemies of its “god” and its “prophet”.
I wonder if any verses in the “tampered with” Bible might refer to
that bloodthirsty system … something like this, perhaps?

You know, in London, college students would gather around with beers and watch this guy on youtube all night & would probably not survive the laughter the next day.
They used to do it with Hindi movies & songs.
He is born in Great Britain of parents who obtained British nationality and therefore he is British. Under the laws of Great Britain, he is guilty of sedition, by his own admission, had the labour government not abolished the eath penalty for treason he would have been hanged.

Reclaiming Our Sovereignty
The nation is in a state of collapse. We have collapsing industry, agriculture, basic economic infrastructure and health provision. Rather than working to reverse this collapse, our politicians are working as hard as they can to have us subsumed into a regionalised European superstate.
The new European government is to be headed up by Tony Blair, a man who, along with his Bilderberg Group sponsor Kenneth Clarke, believes that the Westphalian conception of the nation state is outdated and unfashionable.
If Britain is to survive as a nation, we must organise ourselves around the principles of our constitution – that we are sovereign, not the Monarchy, and especially not Parliament. We must learn that politics is not about power. It is about our welfare, our liberty.
If we are to keep our nation, we must learn to fight oligarchy. We must be willing to stand up and govern ourselves. Join us.
