Shame on the Netherlands: Wilders to go on trial January 2010

It’s the Dutch government that should be on trial….for cowardice, corruption and treason. But the Dutch people are getting the picture and showing increasing support for Wilders. If there were a general election tomorrow, he would win.

Appeasement and dhimmitude: the Dutch authorities are hoping that if they throw Wilders to the wolves, they will stem the tide of the jihad and Islamization in the Netherlands.

Breaking news from the Netherlands. Dutch biggest newspaper calls it the trial of the century (NL), because the government today announced it is going to trial Geert Wilders on January 20th (See also: the earlier court rulling that made it possible). The timing is remarkable, because it’s just before the municipality elections, a busy time for the politician.

Busy or not, Geert Wilder [sic] will have to defend himself in criminal court for speaking out against Islam.

So via multiculturalism and political correctness, Sharia norms are now being enforced by the Dutch secular authorities.

The charges brought against him are: racism and hate mongering (no actual hate crimes have ever been connected to him, his political movement or his speeches).

Renowned criminal trial lawyer Bram Moszkowicz will represent him durring [sic] the trial. It’s still unknown what his defense will look like. But in today’s paper Wilders says he might call radical Imams and other idiots to the stand in support of his defense.

“I find it horrible that I’m prosecuted” says Wilders. “This is a political trial and it’s sad that I’m prosecuted as a criminal for only voicing my political opinions. I hope free speech will prevail. [But] I am convinced that the trial can only lead to my acquittal”….

Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it. If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted. Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth, (we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it! One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display. But you won't be back, trust me on that. Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

Solkhar September 12, 2009 at 6:28 pm: If there was a general election tomorrow he would win? Get real, he has about 18 per cent and that was up from 13 and that is for local municipality elections. Also it is based on the assumption that local elections for town-councils would be done the same for national elections which is absurd and the Dutch electorate has a strong reputation for being personality based in local but being rather thoughtful and non-radical in the nationals.

The court case is well over-due and if he is found guilty he will be out of politics at a national and European level and banned from public office or leading and even representing a political party. His bigotry, smeers and slanders have caught him up and he will almost certainly be found guilty, as Dutch laws are very clear on the matter. There are no gullible jury systems in The Netherlands, just very well trained judges who follow the law to the letter.

Let’s see how the very well trained judges follow the law if the “victims”
are called to the stand to give evidence.

Everyone, please click on the “support Geert Wilders” link and contribute as much as you possibly can to his legal defence costs. The government knows that even if it’s immoral prosecution is unsuccessful, it will cripple Mr. Wilders financially. This brave and principled man must mount his defence in the face of the unlimited financial resources of the state.
