Malay Muslim Truck Drivers on Rape Spree in Sarawak…

Malay Muslim Truck Drivers Rape Religious Minorities…

PETALING JAYA, 9 Sept 2009: Nearly a year after, a government task force report has confirmed that Penan women and children in Sarawak were raped and sexually abused by timber workers.

The report by the national task force set up in October last year also found troubling incidents of children as young as 10 years old being sexually abused by the timber companies’ truck drivers when they took the children to school.

The task force reported that students were “frequently molested” by the truck drivers.

Malaysia: Muslims rush to defend protesters who threatened violence if Hindu temple were built

“Amid chants of ‘Allahuakbar,’ the group also left the severed head of a cow at the entrance of the State Secretariat here as a warning to Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.” That is from this account. And now some Muslims who Misunderstand Islam in modern, moderate Malaysia want to defend these protesters, as a “jihad,” “Cow head demo: Malay NGO to defend Section 23 ‘jihad,’” by Syed Azhar for The Star, September 9 via JW>>

A case for blogtroll Solkar: how about heading off to moderate, tolerant Malaysia to educate these misuderstanders of Islam that there is no jihad?

  1. I am deeply sorry for these girls. These malays claim that they own the land and because the girls are non muslims, they can get away with it.

Its not a religious issue, but the policemen and the guys in power are Malays & Muslim. They look down on the Penan people in general.

And as Muslims do best, they take care of they brothers, even if they commit a crime.

    Sad 🙁

  2. At least there has been an investigation which is probably more than what would have happened in other parts of Malysia. long have the Penans lived there?
The police in Sarawak are very corrupt..demanding money at every turn. Anyone living there knows to stay off the roads as much as possible in the days preceeding big festivals because they endlessly stop cars and demand money..This is known locally as “coffee’ money.
Abuse routinely happens in police stations..especially vulnerable are the foreign workers such as Pakistanis who are treated as if they are the lowest of the low.
