“Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger, and follow not the Religion of Truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low.” (9:29)
Translated in my book: “Fight those who believe not In God nor the Last Day, Nor hold that forbidden Which hath been forbidden By God and his Apostle, Nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, (even if they are) Of People of the Book (meaning the Bible or Tourat), Until they pay the Jizya With willing submission, And feel themselves subdued.
Explanation: The Jezya was partly symbolic and partly a commutation for military service, but as the amount was insignificant and the exemptions numerous, its symbolic character predominated.
This verse talks about a time when the Muslims were in authority near Mecca & Madina. And just as a Muslim living in a foreign country is forced to abide by its laws. The Muslim authority at this time only asked for the non-Muslims to pay the Jezya.
“And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah’s messenger – they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain.” (4:157)
Translated in my book: (That they said (in boast) “We killed Christ Jesus The son of Mary, The Apostle of God”;- But the killed him not, Nor crucified him, but so it was made To appear to them, And those who differ Therein are full of doubts, With no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, For of a surety They killed him not:-
Explanation: The false charge against Mary was that she was unchaste. Such a charge is bad enough to make against any woman, but to make it against Mary, the mother of Jesus, was to bring into ridicule God’s power itself. Islam is specially strong in guarding the reputation of women. Slanderers of women are bound to bring 4 witnesses.
Now, just because we differ in our opinion about whether Jesus was crucified or not, does not make us terrorists, nor does it mean that Islam wages anything against Christianity. Read about the Basilidans, Marcionite Gospel, St. Barnabas and you will see that each has there own theology about prophet Jesus’ birth and death. Islam believes that God substituted him with a person who looks like him and Jesus was raised to the sky to re-appear in the future. Just because we disagree, doesn’t make you or me a terrorist.
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?”

Continues: “An apostle from God, Rehearsing scriptures Kept pure and holy: Wherein are laws Right and straight.” ( I believe: there is only one other holy book which has come up and been kept as it is (the Quran) .. now for other false prophets that have come, I’ll agree with your verse, but I have as much faith in my prophet and his verses as you do in your bible.
Now that’s no reason for us to be enemies, call each other terrorists, and be at each other’s throats: Is it? And I’ll have you know that the bible and the tourat are as holy to Islam as is the Quran and we believe that the real Bible and Tourat are both with Jesus Christ at the moment and will have them when he appears.
Finally: “Revelation makes things clear: mock not God’s Signs, nor attribute false qualities or any partners to Him: follow guidance rather than ancestral ways”
“Revelation makes everlasting Truths Clear: those who mock merely undo themselves. Consider the Signs of God’s gracious kindness Around you, and glorify Him: attribute not Unworthy qualities nor any companions To the One True God.”
There is no God but God, Alone with no companion beside him. He is nothing like us, and no one can ever imagine what he is like. He has no wife, no mother, no son and no daughter. Now where is terrorism in that belief.
“God has knowledge Of the prophet’s cry, “Oh my Lord! Truly These are a people Who will not believe! But turn away from them, And say “Peace!” But soon shall they know!” (43:89)
And that’s evidence which shows that it was Quraish who waged war against Islam that age in the 1st verses.
Oh! And you can get one from anywhere all over the world. But look for the proper translation and explanation. Or learn some Arabic.

Well, at the time known only to God the Father, Jesus Christ will return for the dead and living saints (the “catching away” or “rapture) and return with the saints (Armageddon).
Time is running out for allah, islam and muslims. Soon, they will be drawn into the Ezekiel 38 / 39 battle against Israel, and will be destroyed by God (not the allah imposter).
You will have to decide whether you wish to remain on the broad path that leads to Hell, along with 1.x billion other muslims, or change to the narrow path, which leads to salvation through Jesus Christ.
“”Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it.” (Matthew 7:13 & 14)
