What doest it mean by honour killing ? I don’t understand the whoe concept itself.

You hear Muslims saying that is an honour to kill your daughters (rarely if ever their sons) if they have brought dishonour to the family. Good job that Naomi Wolfs father was not a Muslim, for her sake anyway.

To the above posters. Rifqa’s family is in the country illegally. The FL judge has asked for their documentation and refuses to release her to OH children’s services until they produce those documents. Next hearing on Oct. 23, 2009. She can ask for amnesty due to her fear of being killed. Her family (father) liquidated all his assets and they fear he may take her back to Sri Lanka then kill her. Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs is on it and blogging about the trial. She got in with a press pass.

As to Rifka Bary, her fate is pretty much in hands of the people of the USA. Demand that the judges findings and verdict be frozen until his work is properly investigated. If his decision has been based on politically expediency then he should be jailed. Her passport should be returned to Ms. Barry or a non-muslim court appointed Guardian of her choice. In any event the judge involved required further investigation and the people of the USA should demand this.

Do you suppose the judge in Rifka Bary’s case will ever hear about this?
I doubt if he’d read it if all of us emailed the report to him.

Perhaps someone should find out how to get through to the Ohio Children’s Aid, in whose custody Rifka is in, and report this. This evidence is vitally important in her case for freedom.

Rifka is doomed if she is sent back to her parents in one month.
The stupid judge didn’t even demand surrender of her passport which means they could take her back to SriLanka.
The poor kid. I still have high hopes that she’ll somehow be rescued.
