Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate

Weasel:

Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

The allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days have given Obama a clear lead as Republicans struggled to fetch an alternative.

Ryan’s campaign began to crumble on Monday following the release of embarrassing records from his divorce. In the records, his ex-wife, Boston Public actress Jeri Ryan, said her former husband took her to kinky sex clubs in Paris, New York and New Orleans.

“It’s clear to me that a vigorous debate on the issues most likely could not take place if I remain in the race,” Ryan, 44, said in a statement. “What would take place, rather, is a brutal, scorched-earth campaign – the kind of campaign that has turned off so many voters, the kind of politics I refuse to play.”

Although Ryan disputed the allegations, saying he and his wife went to one ‘avant-garde’ club in Paris and left because they felt uncomfortable, lashed out at the media and said it was “truly outrageous” that the Chicago Tribune got a judge to unseal the records.

The Republican choice will become an instant underdog in the campaign for the seat of retiring Republican Senator Peter Fitzgerald, since Obama held a wide lead even before the scandal broke.

“I feel for him actually,” Obama told a Chicago TV station. “What he’s gone through over the last three days I think is something you wouldn’t wish on anybody.”

The Republican state committee must now choose a replacement for Ryan, who had won in the primaries against seven contenders. Its task is complicated by the fact that Obama holds a comfortable lead in the polls and is widely regarded as a rising Democratic star.

The chairwoman of the Illinois Republican Party, Judy Topinka, said at a news conference, after Ryan withdrew, that Republicans would probably take several weeks to settle on a new candidate.

“Obviously, this is a bad week for our party and our state,” she said.

As recently as Thursday, spokesmen for the Ryan campaign still insisted that Ryan would remain in the race. Ryan had defended himself saying, “There’s no breaking of any laws. There’s no breaking of any marriage laws. There’s no breaking of the Ten Commandments anywhere.”

  1. Actually – before I get tarred and feathered – that piece I sent re Kenya was courtesy Doc Bulldog and Ronin’s site 🙂

  2. Why believe a Kenyan newspaper (which, if it were serious about reporting that Obama was born there would cite something such as a document or a source) and not believe the Wall Street Journal, which concluded:

“Obama has already provided a legal birth certificate demonstrating that he was born in Hawaii. No one has produced any serious evidence to the contrary. Absent such evidence, it is unreasonable to deny that Obama has met the burden of proof. We know that he was born in Honolulu as surely as we know that Bill Clinton was born in Hope, Ark., or George W. Bush in New Haven, Conn.” (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204619004574320190095246658.html)

In other words, the Kenyan newspaper made a mistake. Big deal. If it had been serious about reporting its news that it had found out that Obama was born in Kenya, it would have said “we know that he was born in Kenya because we found X document or Y source said it.” But it wasn’t doing reporting, it was just saying that it knew that there was a Kenya relationship with Obama, and it didn’t have tough editors or fact-checkers.

IF Obama had been born in Kenya, he would have needed a US travel document to get to the USA, such as a US visa on a British passport or a change to his mother’s passport to include him, and that would have had to have been issued in Kenya. Either of those documents would still be on file at the US State Department, if they existed, and they would have been found, if they existed. But no such document has turned up.

Also, it is absurd to believe that Obama’s mother traveled from Hawaii to Kenya while she was pregnant. Pregnant women rarely traveled long distances in 1961 because of fear of miscarriages, and there were no direct flights in those days, so she would have had to have made four or five stops along the way to Kenya and back, on poorly pressurized planes, and with long-distance airline tickets costing relatively more (compared to average earnings) in those days than now. And you had to get a Yellow Fever shot to go to Africa in those days, and that is bad during pregnancy.

And, Obama’s Kenyan grandmother never said that Obama was born in Kenya. She said that he was born in Hawaii. This can be clearly heard if you listen to the complete recording of the tape, which is on Berg’s site. The complete recording includes a question asking “Whereabouts was he born?” And her answer was: “America, Hawaii.”

Here is the complete recording on Berg’s site. Be sure to listen for at least five minutes until the question is asked. (http://obamacrimes.com/Telephone_Interview_with_Sarah_Hussein_Obama_10-16-08.mp3)

If it is too difficult to listen to the complete tape, here is a transcript (http://www.obamaconspiracy.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/obamatranscriptlulu109.pdf).

Of the myth that Obama was born in Kenya, the National Review commented: “The theory that Obama was born in Kenya, that he was smuggled into the U.S., and that his parents somehow hoodwinked Hawaiian authorities into falsely certifying his birth in Oahu, is crazy stuff.”

  3. Strauss, I believe that he was born in Hawaii.

That’s not the point: when it suits him, he is born in Kenya. When it suits him, he is a Christian. When it suits him, he is an American.

Reality is: he is a Marxist Muslim and a Jew-hating PoS.

He is the lying bastard son of a Kenyan Muslim and a Gramscian whore who refuses to present his original birth certificate. He spends millions of taxpayers money to defend against lawsuits of those who demand to see it. What’s on it that we’re not supposed to know?

  4. Re: “who refuses to present his original birth certificate. ”

He has shown his official birth certificate, which is the only one that Hawaii sends out. (http://www.starbulletin.com/columnists/kokualine/20090606_kokua_line.html). That being the case, how can Obama show something that he does not have? (He may have had the original birth certificate that was sent to his family at birth at one time, but he probably lost it. If he lost it, which is likely since he did ask for a copy in 2007, all that he can show is what Hawaii sent him.)

Re: “He spends millions of taxpayers money to defend against lawsuits of those who demand to see it.”

A myth. First there hasn’t every been a lawsuit against Obama that JUST asked for the birth certificate. And most of the lawsuits did not ask that Obama show his birth certificate to a court. So, what were the lawsuits? Before the election, when by far most of the lawsuits were active, they were to stop the election. After the election, most of the lawsuits were to stop the Electoral College from voting, stop the certification of the election or stop the Inauguration. None of these were about the birth certificate, and all of them were paid for out of campaign contributions.

The few remaining cases, since the Inauguration, ask that Obama show such things as his kindergarten records, records of where he lived while at college. These also are not lawsuits for Obama’s birth certificate. He has shown his official birth certificate.
