That’s because that’s what the Muslims who do it call it. (But hey, snappers got nothing to do with Islam…. at least, not until they snap/ed)
The US military faces fraught questions about the recruitment, safety and role of Muslims in the armed services after a shooting massacre blamed on a devout Muslim officer.
About 3500 service members in the 1.4 million-strong US armed forces call themselves Muslim, and the man suspected of slaying 13 people at a Texas army base on Thursday, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, is one of them. Brisbane Times

Questions we should be asking, not out of a desire to excuse, but to explain actions that seem beyond words. But I worry that the mood in the US is dimming and turning in a more sinister direction. The questions we will be hearing are: why are Muslims in the military? And, do Muslims even belong in the United States? The allegiances of America’s Muslims, all of them and not just those in the military, will be called into question. Once again, we will be judged for an act we didn’t commit or condone and have loudly denounced.
Am I being irrational? I don’t think so.

Did the “equipment” break, or was it already defective, and will the US Military continue to use defective “equipment”?

It may have been the first, small clue that an apparently ordinary week at the world’s largest army base was about to become something horrifically different, when neighbours saw Major Nidal Hasan escorting a visitor into his flat.
Other residents at the Casa del Norte apartment complex were surprised to see the mild-mannered army officer accompanied by another man in Islamic dress.

Of course it is “islamophobic” to be suspicious of someone dressed in slave-of-allah attire, & likely to result in a CAIR sheikdown.
If an atheist snapped and had a shoot-out, concerns for public safety would have had the killer behind bars by now. So this killer will be too. No hiding from illegal actions, particulary when public safety is at risk. Snapping and then going on a kiling spree – WTF?!
Thank you to the people who set up this website long before I found it. You have been pointing towards this sort of scenario happening for quite a while.
Maybe now, the winds of jihad will become a spent force, as the global community will see extremist Islam for what it is. A political and military movement, intent on attacking those it hates, which is every non – muslim.

I have a friend who is a Copt, she’s a good woman, I had to fudge the issue over the fate of people/her soul-mates in Egypt, and that was within earshot of another friend who knew nothing about the destruction of the statue of Bhudda in Afghnistan. Sadly, I meet people all the time who aren’t on-line and know not much. Up to and including a woman recently (!) who didn’t want to offend Muslims by having a proper Christmas and tree. So I kinda like the info. from the web.
But I think one day quite soon the truth will be out fully.
This shooting, and the other shooting of UK troops both at the hands of islamist psychopaths has demonstrated quite clearly the dangers of allowing muslims to infiltrate any part of the Western defence forces.

Very interesting link. The now well-known positive discrimation laws in the UK have been used here. I’ll bet the UK’s British National Party will gain even more votes over this.
