He was a leader because his English was good etc..At the time that he and his gang were terrorizing the people in Toronto , another Tamil gang was doing the same thing...I think he got deported from Canada or is wanted there? If these people couldn't fit in in laid back Canada , they will never fit in in Aussie..also if they have had a spin in Canada and committed to criminal behaviour, how can they be considered genuine refugees? There was other info about some Sri Lankans having lived in Indonesia for 5 or 10 years...Again, they are not refugees from the most recent conflict. There is always going to be animosity between Tamil Sri Lankans and other Sri Lankans. The Tamils hold the dubious honour of being the first in the world to invent suicide bombing....really , truly , you so need these people...
