Experts say the bid stands some chance of eventual success if Muslim countries persist. And whatever the outcome, the campaign risks reigniting tensions between Muslims and the West that President Barack Obama has pledged to heal, reviving fears of a “clash of civilizations.”

Ms. Weiss is quite correct—when committed Islamists like Isanoglu demand “respect” from non-Muslims, they really mean political and social global supremacy for themselves and dhimmitude for everyone else. Of course, Isanoglu and his ilk wrap their demands for domination in the sheep’s clothing of victimization, disguising themselves as the real victims of “humiliation” and “indignity.” A favorite rhetorical trick of tyrants like Stalin, Hitler, the Czars (the Russian ones not Obama’s, although, come to think of it . . .) and many others across history, for Isanoglu “humiliation” actually means that Muslims are not in charge, that kafirs dare to enjoy equality with them. Unacceptable! Time for jihad! Moreover, let’s not be deceived when Islamists pitifully caterwaul about Muslims killed, actually or allegedly, by American or Israeli military action. First, their beloved Shariah law is a religious license as much to execute or mutilate Muslims as infidels, although for different reasons/excuses. Perhaps that’s why OIC spokesmen have never condemned Iran or Hamas or the Taliban for slaughtering fellow Muslims, just as they loyally supported the monster Saddam Hussein. Second, consider how Isanoglu condemns both US involvement in Muslim Iraq and US withdrawal from Muslim Afghanistan after the Soviets pulled out. One can reasonably conclude from this apparent contradiction that, in a world dominated by the Islamists of the OIC, America’s role would be simply to do its bidding, even militarily. Thus would the US military become the new Janissary corps; i.e., Christian forcibly remade into storm troopers who killed for their Ottoman Turkish (Isanoglu, yes?) masters as ordered, even other Muslims. Deceit, violence, oppression, and the most cynical hypocrisy—for which of these fine qualities does the West owe the OIC “respect?” The Washington Times

Not a clash of “civilizations” – a war in the heavens, with an known outcome, in accordance with the prophecies that muslims claim have
been tampered with. Islam will get no “respeck” in this world, or in
the next.
“Organization of the Islamic Conference” has 57 member states = Obama’s 57 states. He’s lookin after them….
So, does this mean that all the disgusting anti-semitic cartoons that the islamists publish in their papers and on the internet will net them jail time? I certainly hope so!!
