Micheline Calmy-Rey, Switzerland’s moronic foreignminister, issued a statement on Tuesday excusing Islamic terrorism in response to Switzerland’s ban on minarets.
Swiss Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy-Rey said the ban posed a threat to Switzerland’s security. “Every attack on the co-existence of different cultures also endangers our security,” she said at a meeting of OSCE foreign ministers in Athens. She said there was a danger that the “provocation will lead to other provocations” and would foment extremism.
Swedish foreign minister Carl Bildt is no better.
“Questions could very well be raised within the UN about holding meetings and activities in Switzerland, even if the Geneva canton belonged to those which voted against the ban,” Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt said on his blog.
And Navi Pillay, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, issued the following statement:
The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navi Pillay, said in a statement that the ban was “discriminatory, deeply divisive and a thoroughly unfortunate step for Switzerland to take, and risks putting the country on a collision course with its international human rights obligations.”
That’s funny. She has a problem with Switzerland banning new minarets (but not mosques), and yet she has no problem with Saudi Arabia banning Jews, Christians and bibles. A little hypocritical, no?

In a perverse kind of way, statements by people such as Micheline Calmy-Rey, help our cause. They do so by encouraging Muslims to engage in terrorism, and thus bring closer the date when the only option left, is the eviction of Muslims from the West.
The real threat is not terrorism, but the demographic one.
Thats true.Trawling through the European MSM covering this story and conducting their own polls the Swiss view would be repeated everywhere even more emphatically.Expect the European Court of Human Rights to try and overturn it,but too late,The cat is already out the bag.
