Londoners support the Swiss government’s decision to ban minarets and mosques according to a new poll in The London Daily News, further highlighting the “sensitivities” and concerns in the capital at the growing influence of Islam.
Callers to London’s leading early morning radio show, the Nick Ferrari programme on LBC, also expressed their concerns with one caller citing how “out of character” a minaret would be if built in London.
London is the home to one of the largest number of mosques in the western world,apart from Turkey, with estimates putting the number at over one hundred. The “minaret” issue has become ever more controversial with the growth of Islamic extremism in the capital, and calls by a minority for Sharia law to be observed by all.
Harrow Council recently approved the building of the largest mosque in the capital, which will see Harrow Central Mosque serving Muslim worshippers from across north London when it is built on Station Road. Construction News in a report said:
“The designs include a 40m-high minaret, a gym, a crèche and a café within the 5,745 square metre developments. It is expected to open next year after Harrow Council approved changes to the original plans, which were passed in June 2000.”
Increasingly London Muslims are demanding mosques to be built with traditional minarets, which reflect the liberal regime in place in the capital city. There are an estimated 1 million Muslims in London.

This is a satirical website. None of what you read here has anything to do with Islam, because Islam is a Religion of Peace. Everybody knows that good Muslims never do the things they do, (because Allah does it for them, Quran 8:12) and we know that only our misperceptions, ignorance and stereotyping of Islam makes Muslims chop off heads, kill and rape women and children, bomb subways, buses, nightclubs and fly jets into buildings. If it wasn't for the media and da Jooozzz, we wouldn't even know its happening.
We welcome open, honest, thoughtful, and vigorous discussion in the comments threads, so do yourself a favour and don't accuse us of being 'haters' because we are loving, tolerant people. Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way...
But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it. If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted.
Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth,
(we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it!
One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for
trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display.
But you won't be back, trust me on that.
Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

A ban on minarets would be a step in the right direction, but it’s the ban on islam that i’m waiting for!!!

Wouldn’t be great if someone or a group were writing an even-handed historical account of the islamisation of London, through the prism of 1,400 years of Global Islam!

Political change will come but it is a slow process in western democracies. When that change does start to take effect, watch the muslims start to squirm. But will the so-called moderates have the strength to save themselves from the militant scum who have put them in this position. I feel that it will be too late for them, once the genie is out of the bottle possibly in the shape of a mushroom cloud. It will be the end of any idea of a caliphate and more than likely the end of Islam as they knew it.
Again, the problem is not the muslims – they can be get rid of very easily – it is the PC politican who protects these muslim thugs at a cost that is paid by the rest of us. The new Whitehall advice on PC speech is laughable, and whomever is trying to render our communities helpless, by silencing comment and discussion, will pay eventually with their freedom and/or lives through judicial execution. If critical comment about islam causes islamists to behave like murderous fruitcakes you do NOT shut up – you drive the islamists out. Many of the people we elected to serve our communities have stabbed us all in the back – and they need to be taught that they serve ouir communities, not a violent and non-representative minoritiy of thugs.
The figures are interesting, and show what most of us realise already – that there is a disconnect between the elites (acadmics, media, religious leaders etc) and the ordinary person.
It is amazing that so many people have managed to resist the PC brainwashing, especially as whole generations of schoolkids have been indoctrinated. But common sense has a way of floating to the surface, leaving the PC nonsense to sink to the bottom.
Another factor is that ordinary people live among Muslims, not in some ivory tower or leafy suburb, and observe at first hand the behaviour and attitudes. So they form their opinions based on evidence, not on propaganda.
Let’s hope the tide will start to turn and that London can be snatched back from the clutches of Islam. Another Gates of Vienna maybe?
It will always be the normal peole, ‘commoners’ if you like, that display the most sense in these sorts of situations, while the ‘do-gooders’ have no grasp of what people really want. Governments in our countries (the free countries) need to also be made totally aware of these feelings. What has happened in Switzerland and now in London (and hopefully the rest of the UK) needs to be fully acknowledged and supported.
That’s what I reckon, anyway…
