Muslim nations exercise double standards on Swiss minaret ban – Morocco
Rabat, Morocco – Morocco’s Higher Council of Ulemas (Islamic scholars) has condemned the Swiss referendum where voters approved a ban on building new mosque minarets in the country. The ban was “a form of extremism and exclusion,” which contradicted “the civilized image that Muslims have of Switzerland,” the council, which is chaired by King Mohammed VI, said in a communique.
The Muslim prayer call from minarets expressed universal human values such as the unity of God, banning egoism and the importance of good deeds, the Higher Council of Ulemas said. Earth Times

German conservatives say Muslims must show restraint with mosques

Can anyone tell me of one time when Ovomit or his administration has listened to anyone who opposes him? They shut out the Republicans in all their bills even though it is obvious they need help in READING their bills, but just as long as it bankrupts us it is ok. Not one peep about all the tea parties except to call us terrorists while the Muslims are just coddled. And it is more important that Iran build a missile rather than letting Israel build a house with this administration!!

MY INSTINCTS HAVE TOLD ME THAT THIS IS ALREADY HAPPENING IN AUSTRALIA THROUGH COMMUNITY GROUPS.
What kind of a dimwits are those German conservatives, has the majority nothing to say on how many ideological monumental symbols there can be built, is it entirely up to Muslims? This use of so called “religious freedom” is far beyond reason, the origin of religious freedom was that the state shouldn’t be able to force a religion on the subjects and that people should be able to choose for them self. The core of it, the state or church shouldn’t be able to force religion on those who didn’t want it. As it have developed it have became a “right” to publically force your religion on everybody.
As Aryan Hirsi Ali noted why shouldn’t “every” force their belief on everybody by public symbol manifestations. Guess most freedom of religion have some minor passage that it include also philosophy of life. Communism should fit that or even Nazism, there maybe some nasty stuff involved but hey, a modern “moderate” believer could easily do some cherry picking and show its all about peace, love and compassion.
Most countries don’t let McDonalds et al put up their monumental symbols as they want, nobody in his right mind would plead for restrain to commercial enterprises who want to put up monumental symbols everywhere.
