Predictably, the article avoids naming any particular religion as much as possible. So we’re left to assume that some of this is the work of a militant wing of lapsed Quakers. “Honour crime up by 40% due to rising fundamentalism,” by Rebecca Camber for the Daily Mail, December 7 (thanks to JW):
Police have seen ‘honour’ crime surge by 40 per cent due to rising fundamentalism, new figures show.
Honour-based violence, including crimes like murder, rape and kidnap has rocketed in London during the past year.
Reported instances of intimidation and attempts at forced marriage have also increased by 60 per cent.
A report into the scale of the problem by Scotland Yard found there were 161 honour-based incidents recorded in 2007-8, of which 93 were criminal offences.
But in 2008/9 the number of incidents had risen to 256, with 132 being criminal offences.
The latest figures indicate that the trend is continuing, with 211 incidents reported in the last six months until October, of which 129 were offences – more than double the number in the same period last year.
Police define honour crimes as offences motivated by a desire to protect the honour of a family or community.
Diana Nammi, of the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation, said the group is now dealing with four times more complaints relating to honour than two years ago.
She said: ‘More women are coming forward. They are becoming more aware of their rights in the UK, that there is help available and they feel confident enough to report matters to the police.
‘But I also think cases and violence are increasing.
‘One reason is the rise in fundamentalism. The problem is increasing in communities around the UK.
‘We are seeing a rise not only in honour killings, but also in female genital mutilation and polygamy.’
There should not ever be a single case of female genital mutilation in Britain, of all places, or anywhere else in the West. Period. The same goes for honor killings, forced marriage, and polygamy. Unfortunately, policymakers seem to have taken the attitude of the Ford Motor Company around the time of the “Pinto memo”: the path of least resistance is to let a few tragedies slip by.

Don't curse us, don't threaten us with death or hellfire, and don't accuse us of being "just like the terrorists" because we don't do to Muslims what they do to us or to themselves. Yes, we know that only idiots oppose Islam and sensible people submit, but you should know that we are ignorant bigots, hypocrites and Islamophobes, and we prefer to remain that way...
But since you are forcing yourselves (and your abhorrent belief-system on us) we will defend ourselves, because we must. Avoid tu quoque and ad hominem attacks. Don't bother with circular reasoning either, we been there, done it. If you annoy us, you will be banned and your posts summarily deleted.
Try to add to the discussion, don't try to sell snake oil, don't try to cover us with Islamic shrouds of kitman and taqiyya, don't bother with da'awa, (we've heard it before) don't spam us with long pieces of cut & paste, write in English, try to tell the truth,
(we know that's hard for you because you are all pathological liars) but the truth will set you free, try it!
One more thing: don't think you can post here under multiple monikers. You will quickly be disappeared! The same goes for
trufers and conspiracy kooks: you get one chance, one time. Blow it out of your ass if you must; put your stupidity on display.

Take a deep breath before you post, try to make some sense, do not just vent, do not make a fool of yourself and if you prove us wrong you can earn 10 Islamic dollars for your piggy bank. Deal?

Who gets the (de)sensitivity training?
London really is becoming a nightmare of failed multi-cult experiment! I live in a fairly nice area of London, but even still I have seen a few hijab-clad (and even full burkha clad) women escorting their satanic broods into the local waitrose like some sinister ninja/mother-duckling hybrid. Not sure why, as they haven’t a halal section (yet). Along with this, the local school, despite being a 95% white and 100% affluent area, seems to be about 99% ethnic thugs and thugettes. I assume this has something to do with the governments ridiculous policy of making all schools as racially diverse as possible so as to combat the disease of white nationalism (read racism in lefty terms) in the voters of tomorrow. The reality is: white families just aren’t reproducing, while ethnic families are giving birth to 4 or 5 times as many kids, the result? Schools in areas such as Clapham, Hammersmith, Wandsworth and Battersea are massively overcrowded, so they bus the little bastards in to nice areas. As a consequence, we now have 2 police officers stationed at each bus stop for about a mile each side of the school, I assume this is to make the sure the murderers, gang rapists, human traffickers and drug dealers of tomorrow (read nu-labour voters) get home safely, as it sure as hell isn’t to protect the locals. The amount of times i’ve seen white kids getting battered by black and asian kids while the (usually ethnic) coppers stand about 10 feet away laughing at the “folly of youth” or some other bullshit!
London is done, period! Next stop for me – Cornwall, The Isle of Mann or The Shetlands (just as soon as ol Gordy stops taxing the shit outta me enough to save up!). Until then, I have far too much of a conscience to start a family of my own!

mem oh men ,its getting better and better , we are shrinking and they are expanding more and more , i always say islam is the desease that have no cure its like a cancer when you have it it will spread and their is ndothing will stop it unless GOD will interveign and that is only hope and exit to our salvation . i just cant help to laugh when i think about our future if will have one that if we go the moon or other star and able to habitate them as new home , dont you thing they will follow us there and try to claim it as their home too . so GOD`help us
