Sheikh

The whole culture of Islam is diseased, and reciprocity demands that we send it back to Saudi Arabia.

One thing that the Swiss referendum has done is to bring the whole issue of Islam right to the front. If the same referendum was held in Switzerland again, it will be passed by more then 80%, as people are no longer afraid to be unPC. That is the message coming from all of Europe. In fact the Northern League would like a referendum not on minarets, but the existence of mosques . If such a referendum was held anyhere in Europe, it will be passed by more then 80%. Unfortunately there is no mechanism for the people to instigate a referendum, as in Switzerland.

The great thing about Switzerland is that it has this feature of a referenda being launched on the initiative of the people. The other is that the state does not have a monopoly of force. In fact it has no force at all -all the force, ie the military, is in the hands of the people. Each man has a state of the art automatic rifle at home, with sufficient ammo - a useful reminder to anyone who maybe getting ideas.

Spot on, DP111.
We must keep in mind that once a mosque is established, along with madrassas, community centers and cemeteries, that land becomes Islamic for all time (in their mind).

In Saudi Arabia, the bodies of diseased foreigners are sent back to their home-countries so as not to pollute the soil of the pure Arabian desert.
We should follow suit....

There is a reason for this. In Switzerland, because of lack of space, all bodies have to be dug up after 20 years or so..

I'm not too sure about this, as it is not the kind of topic one dicusses with my hosts, over a nice BBQ on a hillside in Switzerland. It may well be that the body is not dug up, but the grave is re-used. In either case, the idea will be appalling to Muslims.

Frankly, the culture of Islam and ours, just does not mesh, in life, and as is apparant now, even after death, and among the dead. Yikes.

Sheikh
re: Burial in the country of origin

There is a reason for this. In Switzerland, because of lack of space, all bodies have to be dug up after 20 years or so, cremated, and the ashes handed over to relatives. For Muslims, the idea of a Muslim body being dug up, must go against the grain of their beliefs.

I sincerely hope Switzerland does not grant any special dispensation for Muslims on this issue, for if they do, all Muslim burial places will immediately become dar ul islam.

In addition, Switzerland should cease paying for the removal of the dead body to the "home" country. Such payments are downright unfair to the rest of the population. This will provide great incentive for Muslims not to come to Switzerland.
