Islamic Tolerance:
Aceh Sharia forbids Chinese dance of the lions
Because Islam replaces everything else…

The provincial authorities say it is alien to local culture and violates religious harmony. The descendants of Chinese respond that is only “a cultural show” to remember the victims of the tsunami. For decades the community – mostly Christian – is victim of discrimination and violence for religious or economic reasons. More from Asia News:

No Christmas in Basra, to avoid offending Shi’ites
Would Shi’ites curtail one of their celebrations to show similar “respect” to the Christians? Would they mute their joy on Eid al-Fitr if it began on Good Friday? What do you think? And what would happen to these Christians if they failed to show this “respect”?
But Ashura is okay:

The Shiites, according to the lunar calendar, commemorate this year the mourning of Ashura (the 10th of the month of Muharram) the next weekend when Christmas falls on Friday.

German Cardinal criticizes Islamic treatment of Christians in Islamic countries
Meisner said he was not arguing for similar, tit-for-tat treatment toward Muslims by Germany, but added that he believed that if Germans were asked whether to ban minarets, they would vote as the Swiss did recently for such a ban.
Cologne, Germany – One of Germany’s most senior Catholic leaders, Cardinal Joachim Meisner, criticized on Sunday what he described as restrictions on Christians in Islamic nations. In an interview with Deutschlandfunk radio, Meisner, who is archbishop of Cologne, charged that this led to “an aversion against Muslims” among Germans.
The often outspoken cleric said he had been campaigning for the past two years for the Church of St Paul in Tarsus, Turkey to be permanently opened for worship by any Christian. More>>
Delusional: The Search for the “moderate Taliban”
The German defense minister says he thinks it’s time negotiate with the Taliban. He believes that not all Taliban are hard-core terrorists and would-be totalitarians, and recommends that the NATO coalition in Afghanistan negotiate with the “moderate” Taliban. (Good luck with that. Perhaps he can find himself a moderate killer../ed)
Arabs not rich enough:
Swiss Banks Should Step Up Islamic Wealth Drive (AFP)
CAIRO — Nearly 140 million Arabs live below the poverty line, according to a report published on Sunday by the United Nations Development Programme and Arab League.
“The proportion of young people of the total unemployed population is more than 50 percent for most Arab countries,” it said.
The challenge for Arab countries was to provide “51 million new jobs over the next 10 years,” which would not reduce unemployment but “contribute to preventing its increase and maintaining it at current levels until 2020.”
Nothing to do with Islam, of course…

* “The proportion of young people of the total unemployed population is more than 50 percent for most Arab countries”
What, all those muslim reference groups, diversity and sensitivity training, jizyah and special treatment doesn’t work, even in the Dar al Islam? If it doesn’t work there, why bother trying it here?
* “The provincial authorities say it is alien to local culture and violates religious harmony.”
Much like minarets, mosques & wudu washers in the Dar al Harb, but these are mysteriously transformed into “human rights”.
The real enemy is the enemy within!
Why is this news?
Any society whose economic wealth is centred on a two-tier system – whether religious (islamist/kufir) or monarchistic (aristocrat/serf) – must break down when the number of ‘elite’ exceeds the number of workers.
When the infestation exceeds the body’s ability to sustain it, both the body and the parasite die.
One of the main causes of the economic troubles of Britain has been an increase in willingness to increase a necessary support to people unable to support themselves until we are providing luxury to people who refuse to work for it.
I have heard, not once but often: “why should I work, I can live just as well on the dole.”
I have also heard: “When I deduct my travel expenses, clothes and so on, I am actually better off not working” and “if I worked I wouldn’t have as much time to hang out with my mates” ….
Plus of course, these ‘inciters to riot in the name of allah’ would have less time and energy to spend if they were actually expected to do something for their money.
Does Britain have Mutual Obligation with their Benefits?
It was brought in by our John Howard’s Liberal National Government from 1996. It was introduced respectfully, firmly, but slowly [allow five years]. Because the clients sign an agreement to do so, when they apply for Benefits, they start to feel the obligation. Over time, they start to see the benefits of the program. Patience is required, initially, on behalf of the Authorities during implementation.
Maybe they will return home when they find they have to work for their money.
