Indian American Muslim group urges Chidambaram to clarify his remarks on Jihad
The Home Minister of India equated Jihad with terrorism while referring to Crusades as a conventional war. He reportedly also stated that Jihad is war against unbelievers. This statement naturally enraged the 1.57 gazillion believers around the world who are out to get him:
“These conflicting messages to different audiences raises the concern that the Home Minister may not fully understand the faith of Islam, a faith adhered by 161 Million citizens of India and 1.57 Billion citizens of the world,” said Mr. Rasheed Ahmed, president of Indian Muslim Council-USA. He further stated that, “As the Home Minister of an emerging global power one hopes Mr. Chidambaram would be more cautious and informed while referring to religious terminology of the faith of 23% of the world population.” Indian American Muslim group >> more>>

Osama bin Laden and innumerable other Islamic jihadists have already made this connection, but that’s fine. It’s only “objectionable” when a non-Muslim does it.

New Delhi: In an address to Intelligence Bureau, Home Minister P. Chidambaram equated Jihad with terrorism and said that its objective is war against unbelievers.
Chidambaram uttered highly objectionable statements against Jihad addressing IB officers in Delhi while delivering 22nd Intelligence Bureau Centenary Endowment Lecture on Wedenesday in Delhi.
He said that Jihad is a kind of war that emerged after the end of Cold War in 1989.
He’s only about 1370 years off on that one.
He termed Jihad as “a war or struggle against unbelievers” completely distorting the meaning of Islamic principle of Jihad. Home minister added that Jihad is waged by a number of groups that owe their allegiance to Islam and said that “Jihad employs terror as an instrument to achieve its objectives” which is “directed against all” and usually claims innocent people as its victims.
In defining jihad, a Shafi’i manual of Islamic law endorsed by the most prestigious institution in Sunni Islam, Al-Azhar University in Cairo, says that the leader of the Muslims “makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians…until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax,” and cites Koran 9:29 in support of this idea: “Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled.” (‘Umdat al-Salik o9.8)
Curiously, Chidambaram made a distinction between Crusades and Jihad terming the former as “a conventional war” while Jihad uses terrorism as instrument to overthrow the established authority.
Giving sole credit to Jihad for inventing terrorism, Chidambaram who is responsible for security and peace in all of India, said that the tactics of the jihadis have been copies by militants belonging to other groups including Hindu militants. He did not identify the Hindu groups….
“Giving sole credit to Jihad for inventing terrorism…” That would be asinine, if he really did that. But the idea that jihad as warfare against unbelievers is an offensive coinage of “Islamophobes” is a manipulative fiction that by now should be familiar to Jihad Watch readers.

Many people around the world don’t understand that Muslims have adhered to the Five Pillars of Islam for almost 1,400 years. They can’t be good Muslims unless they practice the five pillars of Islam. The following are the Five Pillars of Islam:
The First Pillar of Islam: To murder especially Christians and Jews. Also to murder all other infidels if they refuse to become Islamists and join Islam the religion of peace. Muslims must destroy and kill all who oppose Islam. Muslims must please their god Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate. If infidels accept the religion of peace, Muslims must leave them alone. But if infidels waver and object, they must be killed for doubting the religion of peace.

The Second Pillar of Islam: To murder other Muslims that aren’t 100% Muslim. Sunni Muslims must continue to murder Shiite Muslims because they are infidels. Shiite Muslims must also continue to murder Sunni Muslims because they are also infidels. Also, Muslims must also murder other Muslims of different sects because they don’t follow the pure religion of Islam, the religion of peace. And it’s okay for them to lie and say that Muslims don’t do these things. The Muslim Taqiyya teaches that it’s okay to lie if it advance Islam, the religion of peace. [Comment: At present Muslims of different sects have been on course in accomplishing this Islamic Pillar].
The Third Pillar of Islam: Muslims, of the religion of peace, must blow up Muslim mosques of different Muslim sects while other Muslims are praying to Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate. Muslims must also blow up especially Jewish synagogues, and Catholic churches, and other places of Christian worship, of course, all in the name of the Muslim god Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate. If possible, blow up when worshippers are inside these buildings. Remember that these deeds must be done in the name of the Muslim god Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.
[Here, too, Muslims of different sects, Children of Satan, the Muslims call him Allah, are doing quite well in pleasing their god. Allahu Akbar.
The Fourth Pillar of Islam: To allow brutal, lecherous, old Muslim male sex perverts to force little girls, as young as seven years old, to "marry" them despite protestations from the little girls. The little girls must spread their little legs and submit to this Islamic ritual, despite protestations because it pleases the Muslim god Satan, the Muslims call him Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate. Before the Islamic ritual, the little girls must have their clitoris chopped off to keep them pure. This mutilatin of the clitoris is especially pleasing to Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.

The Fifth Pillar of Islam: To punish by stoning until dead especially women who are caught cheating on their husbands. Also, to punish by severing off hands, or feet, or gouging out eyes of petty thieves. Also, to punish by caning until backs, buttocks, and legs of the victims are torn and bloody-red. Punishing by cutting a throat here and there is also okay. It’s always pleasing to the Muslim god Satan, the Muslims call him Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate to punish in these fashions.
[Comment: Muslims, the Children of Satan, are good at this trade since they have been practicing for many centuries. Perhaps, some day the Muslims will evolve, grow a human brain, and join the civilized world].
