Iranian Supremo promises punch that will "stun" West on February 11

That’s hard on the heels of ‘Israel’s obliteration is certain’ yesterday:

Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Monday that Iran is set to deliver a “punch” that will stun world powers during this week’s 31st anniversary of the Islamic revolution.

“The Iranian nation, with its unity and God’s grace, will punch the arrogance (Western powers) on the 22nd of Bahman (February 11) in a way that will leave them stunned,” Khamenei, who is also Iran’s commander-in-chief, told a gathering of air force personnel….

Al BeBeeCeera readers are concerned:

Tim Blair:

A BBC reader asks:

Why shouldn’t Iran have nuclear capability? Israel, India, and many other countries which are no more stable than Iran have the capability. Another case of the USA trying to impose it’s homophobic prejudices on the rest of the world and, to my shame, with this country’s backing!

Iran’s new status as the Land of the Gays might come as a surprise to various mullahs.

(Via Murph, who writes: “Anyhow, each to their own. Just as long as they test their weapons behind closed doors and don’t flaunt their nuclear capabilities in my face, it’s none of my business …”)

  1. Distractions, distractions! This is a global war remember!

What is the time difference between Iran and the Canadian Vancouver Winter Olympics?

Is February 11th, Iran, the same as February 12th ,Vancouver, Canada?

Remember, the Islamists will not want to destroy al-Qud for eternity before they can populate it, unless they are going to use ‘normal’ bombs. They have been reminising about Hiroshima recently!

  2. Although the World Clock Convertor shows Canada behind, the imam mentions ‘shocking’ the West.

How long does the anniversary celebrations continue for?

Does anyone know of another suitable global occasion that would suffice?

  3. According to the story [link below] it would all depend on when Iran starts their ‘shocking’ celebrations because…

“…On Tuesday morning the torch will cross briefly into the United States at the Peace Arch border crossing before continuing on its journey through Delta, New Westminster and Tsawwassen and Ladner, to finish the day in Richmond during an evening event at the official O-zone celebration site.

On Wednesday the torch will move to the North Shore of Vancouver, passing though Bowen Island, the Capilano Reserve, and North Vancouver, before arriving in West Vancouver for an evening event at the recreation centre…”

  4. Then on Thursday…

“…Then on Thursday the torch will head to northeastern parts of Metro Vancouver, travelling through Belcarra, Anmore and Coquitlam, then heading back west into Burnaby, the Musquem Reserve and UBC, before ending up at the Yaletown LiveCity site in downtown Vancouver for an evening celebration…”

It would all depend on when Iran plan to start and run the ‘shocking’ celebrations.

“…On Tuesday morning the torch will cross briefly into the United States at the Peace Arch border crossing before continuing on its journey through Delta, New Westminster and Tsawwassen and Ladner, to finish the day in Richmond during an evening event at the official O-zone celebration site.
