Clinton introduces new OIC envoy Rashed Hussein
Remember: the goal is to shut us up and to shut down any criticism of Islam, so that Islam can spread unhindered…..
JEDDAH: “We had a very comprehensive discussion about many issues that the United States and the OIC care deeply about, and talked about action plans that we can pursue together,” said US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on her visit to the headquarters of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) on Tuesday morning.
After a 30-minute meeting with OIC Secretary-General Ekmeledin Ihsanoglu, both emerged with complimentary comments on the conducive talks that took place behind closed doors. She later formally introduced Rashed Hussein as US special envoy to the OIC. The secretary-general further highlighted the positive strides that the US and Muslim nations are taking and referred to Obama’s speech in Cairo as a genuine vision of future collaboration between the West and the Muslim world.
Exuding optimism, Hussein, 31, was hopeful that his appointment would bring the US and the Muslim world closer. “I am really honored and humbled to be given this position by President Obama,” said Hussein. Read the rest from Arab News
Here is a terrific piece by Cliff May on Obama’s new ambassador to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, Rashad Hussain. I share’s May’s concern that instead of standing up to this chief foe of freedom of speech in the world today, Hussain will kowtow. Why wouldn’t he? Jihad Watch
Robert Spencer over on Jihad Watch has done some serious digging and found quite  a lot of dirt:
Someone is covering up for Rashad Hussain. But who? Â Â And what did Barack Obama know, and when did he know it?
Publication that erased evidence of Obama envoy’s support for jihad terrorist now claims it was all a mistake
Rashad Hussain defended jihad terror leader Sami Al-Arian in the jihad-enablingWashington Report on Middle East Affairs. But when Hussain was appointed Obama’s special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, suddenly the evidence of his defense of Al-Arian went down the memory hole. But there was no cover-up! It was all a mistake, you see: according to the Washington Report now, Laila Al-Arian actually said the words that were attributed to Rashad Hussain.
But this doesn’t make sense, since the article was altered just to remove the quotes, not to change the name of the person quoted. Also, the author of the original story contradicts the Washington Report’s explanation.
Did Obama know about this cover-up?
As if this coverup weren’t enough.
The Muslim Brotherhood “must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.” — “An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Brotherhood in North America,” by Mohamed Akram, May 19, 1991.
