Puff Ho offers soapbox to Oxford student who calls LSE professor "Islamophobic"

Is Your Professor an Islamophobe?

Satoshi Kanazawa is an evolutionary psychologist and professor at the London School of Economics. Although his research as a scientist has ruffled some feathers in the past, his attempts as a “public intellectual” are indisputably inflammatory. In a recent article entitled, “What’s Wrong with Muslims” published in his blog hosted by Psychology Today, Kanazawa wrote:

Major Nidal Malik Hasan is a native-born American citizen, trained military officer, and educated MD and psychiatrist. Yet none of these things matters for him; first and foremost, he is a Muslim…They are all united in their values and goals by their singular identity of being Muslims. It’s tempting to dismiss these observations by saying that [he and others implicated in terrorism plots] are all ‘extremists’ or ‘Jihadists.’

That would be politically correct and comforting, but factually inaccurate.

(Of course, Abdulrahman El-Sayed never tells us whats factually inaccurate, just like we never find a Muslim who can explain the peaceful Islam from the violent one. But that doesn’t matter. What matters is that he gets Puff Ho to print this garbage and that some PC types lap it up/ed)
In his very next article he boasts:

No, not all Muslims are terrorists, but…half of Muslims worldwide are terrorists and active supporters of terrorism, who would encourage their sons, brothers, and nephews to blow themselves up in an airplane or in a crowded market.
Kanazawa is just one in a growing number of academics using his intellectual identity to promote intolerance and xenophobia against Islam and Muslims.

No. We don’t see why we should tolerate the intolerant who call us sons of apes and swine who are cursed, despised and must be killed.  I take issue with Puff Ho for printing this puff piece. How bout you?

  1. Muslims bring Islamophobia (as in dislike – not an illness) on themsleves. Enjoying rude good health as I take vitamins and jog, but I don’t like Islam. Get over it Abdul.

  2. Let’s take these observations and apply them to the way we have been fighting this war.

    1. Can we win islamists’ hearts, if by the definition of their religion you are always an enemy if an infidel.

    2. Can a war that does not challenge islamic thought be won?

The suicide bombers blow themselves up because they believe they are going directly to heaven for it.

Why havent our commanders in the field addressed this issue by challenging these islamic beliefs?

The God of Israel stopped the Hebrews from burning their children to gods like baal…and ashteroth

But why did these people sacrifice their children to the fires in the first place? They believed that the deaths of these would benefit their societies.

allah was the moon god who also accepted human sacrifices, and that is why in the spirit of a false god, these blow themselves up.

    Yet, only hell awaits them.

Had the Americans allowed for Christianity to be preached in places like Afghanistan, the Afghanis would change for the better. How can we allow the Afgani ruling regime to keep Islam as a state religion.

Unfortunately, these keep on killing their own in the hundreds because of their very islamic principles.

But what have the Americans and the Europeans doing at home? allowing Islam to grow unchallenged and prosecuting those that do in the name of islamophobia, is giving islam victory in word and soon in deed as well.

  3. The reason why only a fraction of the Ummat al-Muslimin is engaged in Jihad b’il Saif at once is because it is a fard kifaya — a collective obligation, as opposed to a fard ain (individual obligation). If at least one party of mu’minin, however, is not engaged in Mojahadah on the ribat (frontier) between the Dar al-Harb and Dar al-Islam, then the entire Ummat al-Muslimin is in error. If the kuffar refuse to pay the jizya (and kharaj) and submit to the discriminatory and humiliating regulations incumbent upon them when they are accorded the status of ahl adh-dhimma, then, to quote the 2nd Rashid Khalifah Umar bin al-Khattab — “it is the sword without leniency.”

  4. you’re silly. too much time on your hands to refer to articles that actually make sense but get twisted in your nonsensical mind, then get posted to feed your fellow nonsensical playmates some moldy, rotten “commentary”, if we can use that term for whatever is posted above.

post w/e backlash you want to my comment of reason, i won’t read it. the only people who will are your fellow playmates, aka philip and the rest of the insecure, socially awkard folk.

(i.e. if you try using “insecure, socially awkard” or “nonsensical” in a categorization for 1/5 of the world’s population, go right ahead, it won’t be witty or worth any ear anyway. so have fun in your group cyber-masturbation)

  5. You’re incredibly wrong and you’re spitting in the face of people who try to engage in constructive dialogue with you.

  6. “…Why havent our commanders in the field addressed this issue by challenging these islamic beliefs?…”

Because they believe it depends on which country you are in and issues on the ground. Fair dinkum! And they are there to fight a war not play politics. Fair dinkum!
