Machete Attack on Jews in Ottawa

The Machete Intifada

Blazing Cat Fur/Covenant Zone:

Machete Attack on Carleton Student – “Around 1:45am, as we were leaving the bar, and we heard the shout of “Zionist” in Arabic”

A well-known student supporter of Israel at Carleton University and an Israeli engineering student at the university say they are counting themselves lucky to have survived an attack with what they say was a machete near a Gatineau bar early Monday.  Ottawa Citizen/via Vlad Tepes

The original report, from Nick Bergamini, the VP-Student Issues at Carleton University, and an outspoken supporter of Israel, apppears here: The cost of supporting Israel « Take Back Your School:

The report is yet unconfirmed, but it sounds like what we can expect now that Ontario universities are going out of their way to recruit Arab students. Either the universities are ignorant of the pervasive and hysterical antisemitism in the Arab world, taught in schools, mosques, and the state media, not to mention ignorant of the entire history of Islamic imperialism, or they actively want to make their schools uninhabitable for Jewish students, and soon for all who won’t take up the dhimmi’s bow. Frankly, even schools without Scimitar Studies programs can’t be that ignorant, that blinded by their worship of the Other, can they? (Alternatively, the universities are recruiting Arab students so that the latter can be taught a lesson about antisemitism, but somehow I doubt that’s the schools’ motivation, though it must now become ours.)

Meanwhile, it’s time for ordinary Canadians to decide if they want a country in which Jews and other infidels can live without fear. For starters, they might tell Dalton McGuinty to give up his desire to recruit rich Arab students as a funding source for Ontario universities; and we can demand of federal politicians changes on immigration policy, like restrictions/screening when it comes to admitting people from pervasively racist and totalitarian cultures. Write a letter, hold a meeting, today.

Meanwhile, Blazing Cat Fur suggests the Ottawa Citizen is working on this story.

  1. Nothing new here – just muslim “love” in action. Sharifa – this is why we will have to SNIP eventually!!

  2. It seems we are way too late… Montreal Universities are already being overrun by these types of anti-semites. Jews in North American cities as well as European cities are being targeted just like in the 1930’s and 40’s. Will we have to fight off another Holocaust. What does the future hold for us if we continue to allow these ignorant and antisemitic people to spew their anti-Israel anti-Jewish propoganda, letting them into our countries without question, and proper screening? Has the world not learnt their lesson?

  3. Today I was out with information posters near U. Vic..
I wish this was happening in other cities, tomorrow I’ll be in front of our Legislature. I’m also planning to point at witholding finance from offending Universities, which allows swarming activities to intimidate individuals.

Danny April 6, 2010 at 5:49 pm, I noticed this sort of environment at my university too. At a uni. associations day, where they were seeking members, the middle-eastern groups were on one side of the atrium giving hostile looks at the one and only jewish group’s table. I also noticed that many Aussie groups were distanced from the m.e. groups.
NOW I KNOW WHY, thanks to the Sheik’s site. I thought it was due to the ancient m.e. hostilities [as I believed then]. “Hey!” I thought, thinking of the m.e. groups, “we are in Australia now. Leave that behind”.

  5. When a dog goes rabid, it is put down. This sort of behaviour needs the same reaction. Shoot these mad dogs where they stand and feed their carcases to the dogs. It is time the world awoke to the transformation that is taking place wherever muslim populations are increasing. The only way to rid our societies of this scum is to kill and burn them in an effort to remove this evil that is polluting our lands.

  6. If immigrants want to move to a new country and bring their way of life with them, then do us all a favour and stay in your home country. This is Canada, not the middle east. Adapt to our lifestyle or dont come. Canada needs to clamp down on immigration rules, we are letting way too many people into our country. We are constantly fighting for freedom at the cost of our own soldiers lives to prevent this sort of thing from happening to us. Yet we welcome these kind of people into our own country. I am not saying all immigrants are like this, because most aren’t. But this incident is unacceptable in this country and in the year 2010.

  7. Danny:
Tragically ironic, as Montreal’s Jewish community was a prime facilitator in establishing and developing these (former) universities. One thing is certain; when these brain-dead savages have taken them over completely, we won’t see any more Mordecai Richlers or Leonard Cohens. We’ll have to be satisfied with the latest fatwah from the local mullah.

  8. Well, imagine that. Yesterday, was the observance of Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. It also marked exactly one week since the attack in Hull, Quebec. Curiously, it is nigh on impossible to actually find any current news on said story. Has anyone been charged? Are police close to finding suspects? Who knows?

Did it actually happen? Well, according to the CBC, nope. they pretty much did everything they could to kill this story from the beginning? Most lib, prog blogosphere trolls have gone above and beyond the call of duty by questioning the veracity of both the “supposed attack” and the reliability of the two young men in question. Note please the not so satisfying irony that it is the two young men who “reported” the attack in question. G-d forbid that the authorities should actually “question” any suspects in this sad sorry event.

I find it ironic that Prime Minister Harper yesterday, in making an address in honour of Yom HaShoah, was relating the need for vigilance in light of the recent rise in antisemitic events, failed to even mention the attack in Ottawa, our nations capital.
