London, May 9 (ANI): With his children settled in Britain, an al Qaeda terror suspect has won the right to stay on in the country because of a case against him that dragged on for too long.
According to News of The World, a judge ruled that the unnamed Algerian jihadist – who trained at the same terrorist camp as shoe bombers Richard Reid and Saajid Badat – can simply keep on appealing against his deportation even though the Home Office has been trying to kick him out for five years.
Suspect T – who arrived here on a false passport and has also admitted lying to the security services and committing fraud – has claimed it’s not safe for him to go back to Algeria.
Trained in Afghanistan to handle Kalashnikovs and explosives, the dad-of-four tried to get into France and Germany in 1993 and 1997, but those countries kicked him out.
The UK has proved to be his savior.
Mr. Justice Mitting insisted that European Human Rights laws, and guidance titled Every Child Matters means a “fine balance must be struck” between the potential risk to the UK population and the interests of T’s family. (ANI)
Comment from Wellington:
The parasitical and ungrateful nature of the Islamic mindset is on display here front and center. Muslims in trouble often appeal to Western concepts of freedom and equality under the law, even though their own Islamic societies deny this across the board (when, by comparison, do Westerners appeal to Islamic notions of fair play?). Again we can see that the Islamic world and mindset is a giant hypocrite (often times a coward too). To assert otherwise one must be either a typical (and pathetic) Muslim believer or an ignorant Western dhimmi (like Contessa Brewer). Arguably the two greatest errors in modern Western history are the accommodation extended towards the religion of Islam and the indulgence shown to contemporary leftist thought as an ideology worth respect. Neither deserves respect, only scorn.
Comment from Hugh Fitzgerald:
So if members of Al Qaeda are not welcome in their home countries, why can’t they be sent elsewhere than allowed to remain among those whose continued existence they work against? Why not send this man, and his family, to Somalia, or parts of Yemen? Or demand that Saudi Arabia, the world center of fanatical Islam, and paymaster of fanatical Muslims around the world, take him in. Let them deal with him, perhaps by use of their ballyhood “re-education” program, which does nothing, of course, to diminish hatred of Infidels, but merely attempts to convince Saudi Arabs that the Al-Saud are just as good Muslims, engaged just as fervently in Jihad – despite a little corruption here and there — as anyone. And that seems to calm some of those Saudi Arabs down, but does not make them any less of a threat to us. And we care about us, don’t we? Or do we care instead about the Al-Saud?
I’m sure its all for the greater good. Or something…..
