The essence of Islamic teaching:
“When you meet your enemies who are polytheists [Christians...], invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them … If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them”
The following are excerpts from an interview with Abu Mustafa Al-Yazid which aired on Al-Jazeera TV on June 22, 2009, in which he discussed using Pakistan’s nuclear weapons against the U.S.:
Mustafa Abu Al-Yazid: “If you compare the arrogance, haughtiness, and tyranny which characterized the Americans in the past, to their humiliation and consecutive defeats today – whether militarily or economically – you can see that things have completely changed. We expect this year to be a year of conquests and victories for the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, and of consecutive defeats and casualties for the Americans. [continued beneath the fold]

“With regard to the scope of our participation in the activity in Afghanistan, we participate with our brothers, the muhjahideen of the Islamic Emirate, in all fields. With regard to military operations, our brothers are present on most of the fronts and in most Afghan cities. They fight alongside their brothers, the mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate, and this has had a great positive effect on the morale of the mujahideen in Afghanistan, because they felt that this is the Jihad of the Islamic nation in its entirety. As you know, the mujahideen of Al-Qaeda come from all the countries of the world, even from infidel countries. Young men still stream in to the fronts of Jihad, with the grace of God, and they join Al-Qaeda, despite all the efforts of the enemies to prevent this.”
