Presented as far fetched ~ but the freedom of religion is an agreement to practise one’s beliefs within the law. It is right that Muslims are not free to practise their religion as freely as they would like ~ or as they do in the Islamic world ~ as this would infringe upon the rights of others. For example Ramandan will begin today or tomorrow for many Muslims around the world. But for those who do not abstain from food and liquids during the day will in the majority of Muslim nations be arrested ~ charged with the crime of offending Islamic law. Many Muslims have made it clear in the west ~ that they wish to govern or be governed by Islamic laws. Which would mean a return to the bad old days ~ of religious repression in the west/ in Europe. Something Muslims don’t seem to fully grasp ~ that is how much the restriction on freedoms by the church ~ forms a part of the western psyche. The Inquisition. The Islamic world is in full Inquisition mode at the moment. And for a growing number the mosque will represent an effort to drag the west back into it.
It is also worth mentioning ~ it is extremely difficult ~ if not impossible in some places to build and operate churches or other non-Muslim places of worship in the Islamic world. All while Muslims take full advantage of rights laws to build mosques in the west. This will need to be addressed ~ if we are to have an honest discussion about Islam.

I agree in principle with this. If islamic countries are too uncertain of their own faith to allow other faiths to practise within their borders, they have NO place in our societies.

I have lived in muslim countries and seen how the people are not free, are not encouraged to live life to the full, are not encouraged to better themselves, and are forced to follow rules and social customs that are so archaic that they are actually nonsensical… no wonder that muslim countries score the lowest in the world as far as science, education, research and culture goes.
How many muslims from muslim countries have been awarded a Nobel Prize? Very, very few – a handful at best. On the other hand, there are at least 176 Jewish winners of the Nobel Prize.

I am amazed that ANY western women would submit to islam. I compare them with the girls who hung around with (and killed for) Charles Manson, or the 900 cultists who drank the poison Kool-Aid back in the 70s, many of them women who actually murdered their own children first.
Lets face it. There are weak-minded people in the world. How else do you get young people to walk into a public place and blow themselves up believing they go to heaven for doing so?
